I can't seem to be consistent in Muchi's anatomy :c
Any ideas how to improve that..? Because it seems whenever I try to draw a different pose, she seems changes shape a little... And I can't find a series of photos of a model with a similar (see also, tubby, pear-shaped, flat-chested) build in different poses.

Meh. I guess I could just photo myself but I don't have a decent camera.
Uh, and it would be pretty creepy borrowing one, I think. Maybe I should save for one..?

A week or so, I got off my arse and decided it was about time I stopped joking about changing my fursona species to owl, and actually did it.

For those who noted me or plan to note me about where to get a cockatoo, please read http://www.mytoos.com/ and understand that they are NOT a pet to be taken lightly.

Adult cockatoos can and will cause hideous amounts of damage to anything they're left near if they get bored. ALL pet birds will bite and cockatoos will draw blood - most will scar you or the person they attack and records show some have taken off childrens' fingers in the past. They will have LOUD screaming fits at least twice a day, more if they feel neglected. They take up a lot of your time and need a lot of attention. They require you to cook for them (seed is NOT a complete diet for any parrot). They require new toys on a regular basis to destroy. Things you take for granted such as aerosol and teflon cannot be used in a house with a bird. You will have to 'bird-safe' your house if you want to let him or her fly around. There are SO MANY things to take into consideration.

To be honest, I've seen too many furries who I wouldn't trust to look after a cat, let alone a creature that lives up to eighty years and is the equivalent of a toddler with a tantrum that has a can-opener for a face.

What is the name of your fursona?

'Muchi Tsujo'

Where did the name of your Fursona come from?

I was messing around with a japanese dictionary and thought it was cool that 'muchi' meant both 'ignorant' and 'whip'. Both suited me fine, as I'm bipolar, so it stuck. When you add 'Tsujo' (muchitsujo) it's the word for anarchy and chaos... Again, suited me ^^

What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

She's a cat-owl griobhan (gryphon). A long, long time ago (seven years?) I had a cat fursona, however I felt that was only half right. I love owls and cats equally, so I made Muchi the daughter of The Owl and The Pussycat from the old nursery rhyme lol :} She was originally quad and had less interesting markings, but she's more developed now. When I changed her to anthro, as well as updating her markings I also gave her a small horn on her head. Strangely, I have dreams about a snow leopard cross snowy owl quite often and I also relate that to Muchi... o.o As if it's a more serious version of me.

What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc

Her fur is three shades of grey; light, mid and dark. It seems a boring colour choice for such a fun character, but it feels right. Red is too 'aggressive' a tone for her, and despite liking fluro green and purple, neither of those look right on her. Perhaps the dab fur colour is to balance out how awesome a personality she has? LOL
She has black hair (usually with red/maroon beads in it) and gold to amber eyes.

What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your irl?

She is me. Everything Muchi would say, I say. Everything she'd do, I'd do.

What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you irl?
