I've been thinking a lot lately...and it made em look really closely and deeply analyze something about myself...well, about my representation of myself. Mud Paw has been through a good many changes the past few years. I've distorted what I feel inside into something I feel is more interesting and exotic...but that is not the real me. I know most of you don't know this, but I'm a therian. Mud Paw is not a character, she is me, what I am on the inside...my soul. I had what I felt was truly me pegged, then I looked at all these other peoples neat ideas and could only see "wow...mine is so boring"...so I changed her. I never should have. I changed things to maker her visually pleasing- a longer tail-lovely markings-a slim lithe build....none of those suit me, they are some other person. I wish I was something exotic and unique, but I'm not that special and fancy. I used to be a simple Eurasian badger...and I should have kept it that way. I will be keeping the never version of her, but she will be renamed and be just a simple character for me, not a representation of me. Now, if I commissioned or traded with you to draw Mud Paw, you can draw her either way. I don't think it'd be fair to make anyone change anything they have already started.

still trying to get my brain working normal...I can barely tie my shoes :/ (I'll stick to flip flops LOL). I'm getting the hours of sleep I need (some nights)...but even when I get the sleep-I'm still so tired...and then some nights it's SO hard to fall asleep and then I can't stay asleep. I'm a little worried it's my thyroid acting up again :( My eye brows are starting to thin and my hair is falling out a little more heavily. I'm also getting the first tell-tale sign that lead to finding the thyroid issues years ago- my partial hand numbness/sleep sensation. Now I've got to figure out how to see a doctor. I've got no insurance and I'm uber broke :( Why does my luck have to go this way *sigh*

Sorry to wait so long to update on Grizz. Well, after the biopsy results came back, the tumor is not malignant (though he said t is very likely she will eventually get a malignant tumor-with the fact that she already tends towards tumors). It is a mast cell skin tumor. I am so glad...but at the same time she still has a large skin tumor to deal with. My vet said he doesn't feel safe removing one so large from such a small animal (it's about the size of a silver dollar-about 1.5" in diameter) due to the risk of uncontrollable bleeding as well as closing up the resulting hole after removal. He said the university animal hospital in Auburn might be willing to do it...but the cost would be at least $500 0_o Apparently they require another biopsy and all that mess as well as other tests before even considering it (they could choose to not do it even after all that). He said at her age it may be better to try and manage it and keep it clean. That doesn't sound good to me :C I'm not sure how to feel or what to do at this point....

I feel a bit messed up right now...so don't expect anything worth a diddly squat from me for the next few days. I am not getting much sleep at all. Westley is teething again...and he refuses to take naps longer than 20 mins :( as a result, he bitches all day and wants to be held 24/7. He's also waking to feed (still breast-feeding only-no formula) like times a night...he hasn't done that since he was like 2 months old, though he has gotten back into it since he was about 6 months (at about 4 months he started waking only once a night and occasionally sleeping all night...god that was nice). So as a result....I get nothing done (I'm running out of clean clothes and dishes) and I'm a walking zombie. Maybe he'll calm down a little over the weekend and i can sneak a nap in (he won't behave for Matt if I'm not around-he's going through that clingy stage where he has to be right there with me ALL THE TIME-or he screams like a little tiny banshee). Yeah, and he is crawling and climbing now...and trying to eat all my art supplies?!?! Now everything is nice and closed up in the closet....forced organizing and cleaning..what fun (kill me now). So yeah, walking dead and worthless right now.....Love you all X3 *passes out*

My hubby has been doing a lot of photography lately with new digital cameras as well as vintage film cameras. He does a quite a bit that he'd like to start posting somewhere an possibly selling prints eventually. Now, I am over at DA...and I know they do prints and such, but I've never done them. Is it worth it there? Do you actually make anything on them? Also, does anyone here use Flickr ? That's the first place he mentioned, but I don't really know much about how things go there...so...recommendations?

Hey everybody....still out of town and bored out of my skull...(yeah...baby sitting a two year old (and my own 7 month old) and eating way too much food because I'm bored-yay weight gain!...not... )....ok..so...
I was looking at my art of Kusakawa and trying to figure out what her face/head most resembles. I just draw her the way she comes out of my head, it's hard to explain. I'm not thinking of a particular animal when I draw her....but I know she has to look more like one thing or another. Her ears are heavily rabbit/donkey influenced..and she has nose sort of like a goat or sort of alpaca-ish...and I see something vaguely fox-ish in her... but what do you think ?

there are city workers digging a BIG ASS HOLE in my yard :( Apparently the "ditch witch " had issues because we have drainage pipes rather than ditch...not my problem..but also, the city officially owns like the first 10 road-front feet of my yard...oh well...apparently replacing gas lines...so it's also smelly outside :( ...at least it's not as bad as when they used diesel fuel as a herbicide....WTF?!?!?! illegal...lemma call up the EPA...see if they ever pull that shit again...I like the bamboo between my and my neighbors yard...it gives me privacy...they stuff crawls in my yard...but all you have to do is break the new stems and no prob:3 ..blah blah..complainy mode..sorry...at least we got the roof fixed!!!! that only too one day..amazing how something so apparently simple was so pricey :(

I have an idea in my head I'd LOVE to see someone draw, they involve sexiness and noodle soup/tea. I've tried , but it's not quite coming out the way I want it :/ I dunno..hard to explain. I want to do two different things...

You are going to see a lot more traditional art from me for a while. Westley is just not letting me get near the computer unless he's taking a nap...and he's not much of a napper (he goes an hour max. 2 times a day...on a good day)...or they will be like the last two pieces I've posted, pen and ink work, scanned and photoshop colored (though it's been slow going in very small increments). I tried markers...and god..the horror...they do not like me apparently :( I my attempt some colored pencils when I buy some new ones...and expect some water color stuff too since I have lots of watercolor paint and nice brush ink :3 I hope you all like this tuff as much as my purely digital stuff (which i am SO out of practice with, my hands aren't steady enough anymore).

well, things have come around a little and it appears things won't be quite so bad. We have applied for some government assistance (since what we were going to have left over after our required monthly expenses was not really enough to fed two people and a baby (much less keep him in diapers!) as well as provide for all other expenses (gas to get to work and the like)...so if we get it, the burden won't be quite so bad on us and we may...just maybe..be able to keep online access :3 We both rely so heavily on it for everything we do...so yeah. And we have a big antenna, so we won't miss cable tv...and we own dvds and stuff. We are also selling most of our electronics and we have already sold all our game systems. All of Matt's guitars are sold :( And we are down to a desktop computer each and a shared laptop... But yeah...all in all...I'll most likely still be around unless something dire happens ...hopefully not...though journalism is apparently on its last dying legs right now...GO BUY A NEWSPAPER!!! KEEP A FEW MORE PEOPLE IN THIER JOBS!!......that is all :3 Love you all !!! <3 <3 <3

Well...I didn't think my day could get worse, but it has. I may soon have no internet access. My husband finally broke down and told me they are cutting back his and everyone he works with's pay by a third :( The alternative was firing a couple people...so yeah...cable and internet will be cut. We already scaled them back to the lowest available, but this was a kick in the head. I don't know when he will do it, but even after, I can go and use my laptop at Starbucks or something...oh well...welcome depression...
