Posted 12 years agomy mom and my dad are finally getting divorced
which is okay, 'cause they kind of hate each other, and it'll be healthier for them
but now i have to keep a really hard eye on my mom 'cause she has depression and bipolar
and she's also an alcoholic
needless to say, this is going to be a tough month for me
i'll also be moving soon, in the next month or two
which is also pretty big.
luckily, my dad is looking for a place that'll take three cats and my lil' dog
i couldn't imagine being without them
all i could hope for is a backyard for my doggy
i don't care if i have to sleep on a couch
or on the floor
or w/e
i just want my cats and my dog to have a place to explore
but, i'll take what we can get with a smile
at least i'll have a roof over my head
not many people are that lucky, and that's really sad
i wish everyone had a home
i'm lucky to have both of my parents, a full belly, and shelter
even if my upbringing wasn't the best
i'm one of the lucky ones, and i'm thankful for everything i have

1. my favorite sweet treat is chilled honey
2. i'm scared of the dark and sometimes i'll stay up until the sun rises
3. i can speak in pig latin
4. today i ate 24 pieces of sushi in less than five minutes
(i may be tiny, but i can pack that shit down)
5. i'm not 100% positive that i'm straight, although i have experimented
6. my second favorite animal is giraffes. i love them so much.
7. my first real fursona was a black cat with a donut hanging off of her collar.
8. i collect disney pins. i have over 100 of them. my mom has over 500.
9. i'm scared of mirrors, but only at night.
10. i once escaped a near death experience in the wilderness. a mountain lion was stalking my little cousin and i. luckily, it spooked a rabbit, and decided to chase it instead.

oh man, if i had known
i would've looked high and low for neverland.
i miss believing in santa, and the tooth fairy
even in the bogeyman
i miss having that beautiful hope and innocence
i still kind of do
it's why i'm so, SO absorbed in pokemon and retro gaming
i basically feed on nostalgia. i can't go a day without experiencing some sort of feeling of nostalgia.
i'm obsessed with it.
i fantasize every night of just being a pokemon trainer, and not caring about anything else but traveling with my pokemon, seeing all of the scenery, experiencing new things, sleeping under the stars without worrying about being cold, 'cause i'd have my big ol' fluffy typhlosion and not a care in the world
but that's only a dream.
sucks.
sounds really stupid and childish, i know, but not many people would understand
i grew up in an abusive home, grew up in a room that became a trap
and the only thing that gave me solace was my gameboy and my best friend, catherine, who i was lucky enough to live next to.
i didn't have to worry about finding a job
nap time was my job.
i didn't have to worry about taxes and bills
mommy had a dollar for ice cream.
i didn't have to worry about getting hurt
unless it was a booboo.
i didn't have to worry about awful heart break
i'd find my plushie eventually.
i didn't have to worry about stress
just about when blue's clues would be on.
and i didn't have to worry about being scared
because i had my pokemon to protect me.
i find myself SO much more scared than i was as a child
i'm scared of almost everything. i try not to be, but it's hard when you're aware of all of the dangers of the world, and you've experienced tragic loss like i have. it's hard not to be scared.

which is basically just avocado with salt and pepper between two slices of toast
and i started thinking
"what if there's a spider in my avocado"
like
what if a spider somehow crawled in there
and was sitting there, dormant, waiting for me to open that avocado up
and it would spring out and touch me

one time, i was making cereal, and i put my dry cereal in a bowl

and i turned around to get milk out of the fridge
and when i went to put it in my cereal, i saw my cereal
RUSTLING.
and then a huge black nasty hairy spider crawled out of it
i flung my fucking cereal across the room, i literally SMACKED IT
like an angry pimp
backhanded those fruity pebbles
which is the worse thing to do, 'cause then i couldn't find the spider
so i thought it was hunting me for like,
a month.

it made me barf
THEN they released me early on another day because it was too slow
and today it was raining, and i had to get there on my scooter
and when i was 3/4 of a way there
a car drove through a puddle right next to me and wrecked my uniform beyond repair...
so i went in anyways, and showed them my uniform and asked them what i could do
i tried to fix it, couldn't
it was WAY too muddy (my uniform is all white, too, uhg)
so they sent me home.
