Posted 12 years agoSo since no one jumped on my deal I had last week, I wasn't able to get the Humble Bundle and get Sims 3. I SERIOUSLY want this game and I have tried tons of torrents that are just not working. I think destiny is telling me I have to spend money on this game.
Luckily Amazon is having a sale on the starter pack which comes with two expansions and it's like $12. So if someone buys it for me, I will do art that is worth up to that for you. Please ;n; I can't buy it cuz I don't have the funds and Amazon doesn't take Paypal :C

Posted 12 years agoArt trades of any kind are closed for an undetermined amount of time. I will only trade unless I know I can trust you and I initiate a trade based on that trust.
Also probably not commissioning anyone any more.
I'm sick of having my character obliterated when they have very clear, obvious text on their ref that is there to prevent people from messing up and they do it anyways.
And I'm done with people half assing stuff and not following my clearly evident, thought out directions. :I I work hard on my commissions and trades and do all that I can to make sure I get everything perfect. Why is it wrong to expect the same back.
Like. I changed my sona's ref so as to point out her freckle markings and I even specify that people need to pay attention to her ref and they STILL screw up?
I'm just. I'm so done.
The idiocy and the ignorance of people lately just has me so worked up and I'm done. I've tried. I've laid down the baby steps for people and they still completely screw up. Why. Seriously. Why.
I've done everything in my power to make sure you do it right and as I want it to be done. And people still mess up...
Go ahead, I dare one person to say "just draw it yourself." Does that not DEFEAT the point of commissions/trades ALL TOGETHER? If I wanted to just DRAW IT MYSELF, I would do so. But I damn sure wouldn't mess up. >:I
And it's not even that I'm mad about it. I'm just upset. Maybe overly emotional? Saddened. And disappointed. I naturally expect the best out of people. Maybe I'm wrong to do so.

Help me get a new tablet!
Posted 12 years agoI don't really now how to earn money for a new tablet besides asking for donations u_u I have adopts and designs at :devdrvgs: that can be bought with cash as well.. Or I can maybe sell some characters if anyone is sincerely interested and willing to spend the money.
Please donate. I really don't know how else to get the money :c And I can't stand not being able to draw and I feel terrible not being able to do the things I owe people.
If you donate, I will draw you something as a gift as soon as I get my new tablet. Or if you commission me, it will work the same way. Please, guys, I don't have any other way and any little bit helps a whole lot ;n; Please advertise this or do anything you can to help because I'm at the end of my rope with ideas. I've been brainstorming like mad since it broke but I really don't know what to do but ask you guys for help :c I can do pixel items and pixelated designs at this time but it's not perfect due to being done via mouse but I can go in and touch it up when the tablet comes.
If anyone would like to help through art, collaborative art (commissions) or adopts is the best way. I can still slightly manage coloring with a mouse but I cannot do line-art or sketching. I can barely do pixelated lines.

No More Art
Posted 12 years agoMy tablet is now completely dead. I am earning up to get a new one. Why not just fix this one, you ask? Well there's a few reasons.
One - They don't make replacement nibs for the pen any more. I have to find them on eBay or back alleys of the internet. My pen's nib is already very worn out.
Two - Who's to say it won't continually short out? I'd rather have a new tablet that it's cord can just be replaced.
Three - Outdated software and support as well as technology.
I'm hoping some how I'll be able to get the money through other means than art or that someone will commission me and be willing to wait until I get the new tablet for their art. I am so terribly sorry to those I owe art and I feel like absolute shit for making you wait and then for my tablet to break. Procrastination and art block lead to the waiting and now I can't even draw what I owe. I will be digging around for some traditional materials to see what I can manage.
Until then expect very little from me. I am not skilled at using a mouse and have not had to use one for well over a year or so. Maybe a miracle will happen. This is just a big slap in the face for me.

The death of a tablet :c
Posted 12 years agoThere's a short in my tablet. Right where it comes out of the tablet, if the cord sticks out a certain way it doesn't work and turns off.
Oh my God. Guys what am I going to do I can't live without my tablet ;n; To think I was considering leaving dA and then this happens like why why why ;n; Why must it always be me, why does technology hate me D'X
Where am I going to get a new tablet like how idk where there's one I can even afford ;n;
I mean it's not fully broken but I looked at it and my heart just sank, there's like a wire that's popped and bent and idk how it happened just omg guys help ;n; It's gonna break soon, just it moving a little bit in my lap makes it disconnect.
I have stuff I owe people and stuff I want to draw and stuff I wanted to finish and now this and omg I'm just fearing the worst like it won't turn on tomorrow or stop working while I'm drawing something just.. Waaah DDDDD'X

Just posting this so people know. I'm not using my tablet at all. I will use it very sparingly. It's pretty much holding on by a very thin thread of the cord. Probably even literally.
This whole thing has me really upset. Like I just replaced my laptop 3 months ago. And the only reason I could was because of my tablet. And now idk what to do.
If anyone is willing to commission me ahead of time and wait for my new tablet to arrive, please for the love of God do so. This is just tearing me apart and it hasn't fully sank in how big of a loss this is.
Not only have I had no motivation this past week or two but now that I finally am starting to get it back, my tablet starts this crap.
So I won't be posting much. I'll probably do adopts using my mouse some how or something so I can earn cash that way or something. I'll be here to comment and read shit and stuff now and then I guess? I hope some kind of miracle will happen.
That's all I can do is hope.

Okay guys. I need tips. How can I make money/points easily without the major use of my tablet? As I've re-iterated, it is literally hanging on by a single wire. So I need to know how I can make some currency. I'm doing adopts but they aren't selling well. And no one's really commissioning me. And I need points to pay for the shit I owe cuz I miscalculated my funds and then I need cash for a new tablet. I have had two people say they have one they could give me but they also said they have to find it. So I'm not putting much faith in that.

Click on the person-looking icon and then click your viewer number to change your name.

However I've finally come to the conclusion that I need to let go of some. So what I'm going to do is post links to all my characters. I will take offers on them. I am not required to accept these offers nor am I guaranteed to do so.
The offers can range from art, to design trades, points, and cash. Or whatever you have to offer. Do not try to one-up other people. Offer what you genuinely want to offer. Oh my God so I love people so much ;o; Oh God oh God I'm so happy D'x I can't even express how happy I am and I'm still in shock that this just happened. Ohhh God ;o;
So like my entire night has sucked so much. I had stomach pain then I wanted to play Runescape and it won't accept my login. I even changed my password and it still wouldn't. Not on either of my accounts. So then I figured I'd play Minecraft but the video card drivers are bad on this computer. All the while I was in a call with Clouded_Fury (awesome guy who bought my art slave auction). And I guess he felt bad for me or something or he's just super awesome because omg.
As an early birthday gift and up-front payment, he's sent me the last of the money I needed for my laptop. I just bought it and it'll be here around May 8th. Oh my God I am so happy aaaaah I feel like crying but I'm too excited to cry and just ;u; Like wow I'm so happy. I'll be his art slave til July 26th now so expect art spam of his characters xD But ya. He's just so amazing, he's such a great friend and wow ;u;
I can't get over that this just happened. It just seems so surreal to me. Like, all my hard work has and will pay off. ;u; Lol it's funny though, I got literally 38 cents in PayPal now xD Lol.
So ya ;u; I am just so amazed at this. He's so awesome, he really is. I'm like speechless happy. Everything is so great now. And I should be able to get my files off my other hard drive if I can find someone to do it at like a computer repairs place. Ahh. This is so perfect ;u;
