I am currently laid off so I have to wait until I get another job, but it'd be good to know who would do it and if I can get it for a reasonable price with acceptable quality. 'o'

Kirby Mass Attack -reveiw-
General | Posted 14 years agoThis has got to be the very first game I've ever played where the Island Bosses were easier than the level to get to them. xwx
I think this game is a good balance for Epic Yarn.
I even like how intricate the mini games are. My favrite part is the fact that it brings back bosses from older games.
-Kirby Quest Ch4 final round (think they call it is the 40th round) you fight both forms of Dark Matter from Kirby's Dream Land 2.
Like I said before, it is the exact opposite of Epic Yarn which would make a good balance between the two.
Mass Attack is a very challenging game. They even rate your performance per level by how much damage you acquire by giving you a star rank. Gold is the best. You made it through the level without getting hurt once. Silver is second. No kirby was KO'd by an enemy. Bronze is third. you didn't lose any of your kirby's. then if you just can seem to keep your kirby alive, you don't get a star at all. if you lose even one kirby you get no rank.
That is only important if you want to complete the checklist.
And why stop with challenging enemy infested dungeons. They throw in a treasure hunt. 186 metals to collect throughout the game. after so many you find you get to unlock things like mini games and a Music Player.
They don't make metal searching too simple. some metals are hidden while other require certain conditions to be met in order to get it.
only 185 metal are collectable in the level. the last 1 is a secret.
Playing this had brought back many memories of Pikmin.
what with the more that are attacking the target the quicker it falls, but the real comparison with with the enemy shaking off the kirby's if they take too long.
The soundtrack for this game has a handful of original songs made just for this game, but it does use many songs from older games (ust have counted about 4 songs from Kirby's air ride).
This game was definitely a challenge. I have all the unlockables excepts for 2 special shots in the album (have a feeling it's "completed checklist" and "100% complete") The only thing left to do is finish the checklist (meaning getting a gold star on all level which I highly doubt will happen any time soon).
I enjoyed this game and am really looking forward to the next Kirby release.
I would recommend it to skilled players with plenty of patients. If you lack one of those traits then this could be a very challenging game.

Emulators???
General | Posted 14 years agoI am so clueless on how these are suppose to work or how I am even suppose to get one for my near useless macbook.
I've searched the web high and low and can find a thing. Does anybody here know how to get one for macbook, How to download it properly, and How to even play games on it?
There has been a game I've been wanting to play. The Legend of Dragoons. I played it way back in the day but never got to finish it. I can find it anywhere and would really like to play it. I keep finding Youtube videos of people LPing games using an emulator, but I can seem to find one that works for my macbook.
The only thing I can't access is a website that asks for my credit card info, 1.) I don't have one. 2.) I don't trust websites with things as valuable as credit card info.
So I am stuck with not being able to play this game.
I will check PSN and hope they have it.
If not then it looks like I'm screwed.

My Big Day
General | Posted 14 years agoI spent today at Benjamin Logan from 6pm and finished up with some food and family time.
For today I have done what my step dad was too hot headed to do.
I sat through and completed everything they through at me.
I sat through hours of ceremonial events and speeches.
I sat through two music numbers and more speeches.
I walked up on stage and I got awarded the hard earned fruits of my efforts-
I had finally, for 13+ year, grasped tight in my hands, my high school diploma.
Yep, today I am now a high school graduate and now have something to prove I am a higher rank than my step dad (not really my only purpose for it, just one of the big bonuses).
I managed to get $540 which I think is enough to pay for a round trip to Maryland and back wll still a bit left to work with.
My summer is going to be a good one I hope, and after a get a decent paying job, I'll be trying thing on my own.
To those here who have helped me stay in happy spirits, I thank you for your kindness.
To those here who have been total pains in my ass up until this day, I thank you for pushing me and giving me the strength to take on tasks more meaningful than you.
And to my closer friend here on FA. I really thank you all who accepted me and were so much fun to talk to and sometimes even RP with.
And to Ian/Kyubi/Rogenuchiha, I hope to see you soon.

I live by this not just with food, but with people.
No I don't mean I cook people I don't like. I mean that even with the people who crawl deep in your skin are fun to be around if the situation brings the best of them out.
Somebody might be the one you just don't want a single thing to do with but is a good help academically, or the jock type guy who gets on your nerves on a daily basis who takes a punch to the face for you. In the right light, you can get along with anybody, much like cooking that disliked food until you love it.
With that said, I like to think of you all who read this as my friends, no matter how bad we get along. I am glad to have made it this far and hope to go further still. Except, I hope the one I love will be there too. <:3

Just a very magical tuesday...
General | Posted 14 years agoMy day starts off at 10:40am. I wake up to find it being this late on a school day. I think to myself "maybe school canceled". I check the school website to see no updates of delays/cancellation. I then check my phone, I have a friend with a scanner who get school info faster than we do, so I usually have a text from him saying so. I had nothing. I got up, got dressed, thinking my mom let my stay since her and I were up until 3:30am cleaning the house and reorganizing shoes and jackets. I got to my step brothers' room to see all three still sleeping. I then thought it was canceled. I check the phone to see two messages. One from OHP (my school) and one from Benjamin Logan High (the older two's school). I stuck with the idea of there being cancellations so I texted my mom about it. After six or seven texts of mass confusion on both ends we find out she slept in.
I have no alarm clock of any kind. The cell phone use to, but doesn't now.
She called the middle school and high school of Ben Logan to tell them the kids are late, but get a surprising response when they ask "Isn't Ryan Sick". Apparently, they were up at 9am when the schools called and the middle of the two answered the call for the middle school and said Ryan was sick and puking. Mom yelled and screamed at him for lying to the school.
Mom got my step brothers up and we all got ready and she raced to the two schools to drop us off.
I got to school in time to eat lunch within five minutes.
my very late arrival had completely sabotaged my chances of getting my laptop for free from perfect attendance... now I need $100 to buy the laptop and nobody seems to have it.
I come home to my dad's house ready to ask him about graduation stuff and the laptop thing.
My dad makes over twice as much as my mom a day and works 5 days a week. Usually if it's money related, we leave it to him... but I hadn't been to his house very much so he didn't have to spend as much money on me this year, last year, and the year before that. So I figured it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to ask about the laptop price.
I asked about convocation and graduation. He was suppose to invite his side of the family to those, he didn't confirm who he invited, but they apparently can only attend graduation.
I asked about Senior Awards Night at my home school (Ben Logan), he said he got the e-mail, but didn't say he was coming.
I asked about the dress shirt and tie. He said the shirt was at the cleaners, this new clean shirt.
Then I popped laptop question and he said he wasn't going to pay for it.
I was already sore with him from last Friday when I had told him about him Final Exams being just about all A's, my near final grades being A's and B's. Much to me surprise, he didn't care.

He knocked me across the head with his class right in my earlier years, and he spanked me until sixth grade. Then he yelled and screamed at me until freshman year, and to top it all off, he played favorites. He always favored Z over me. If we both did something bad, he'd make sure she got the lecture and I got the beating. about half way through Sophomore year, I had an argument with him over the phone and that was when he openly admitted that he liked Z more than me. That's when I left his house for a whole year and a half. I spent my Senior year visiting him only on Tuesdays (except for last friday because I needed convocation clothes).
So recently, He's been a real ass to me and I am not sure why. I ended up sleeping until it was time to go back to mom's house.
I get on and almost immediately get in an argument with my mate over character changes. I tried to keep my composure and not redirect my anger, but now I can't tell if I'm doing a good job...

He's a prick who's got a bear gut similar to a pregnant gorilla!! How DARE he say I need to be put on salads when he goes around shirtless with that disgusting fat keg he calls a gut!!!
I have never had the urge to crack anybody in the nose with my knee as bad as I want to when I am around that fat bastard!! I hate him so freaking much! I hope this Valentine's Day, he chokes, we burn him and feed his ashes to the neighbor's chickens while Satan rapes his ass as he burns in hell!!!
Somebody please kill that mother fucker!!!

If it were just his attitude, I'd just be annoyed by him, but he's attacked my mother on several occations, had even shot at her once, and attacked his own son and my older sister. After we thought we solved the problem with him being a freaking drunk, he acts like a fucking four year old with a mouth big enough to fit a truck! He still treats us all like shit and I am still wondering, what the HELL does my mom even see in that fat drunken bastard!?!
I would have kicked his ass out by now, but he STILL lives in my house fucking up my life!!
It's a good think I never have to go anywhere or I'd be shit out of luck! If any of you spend the time around him like I have, you'd want him dead too.
It's moments like this, I am happy I am against violence. I would not intentionally harm somebody for my own gain, only during self defense or when a loved one of mine is at stake.
I just had to vent due to the fact I am powerless in this situation... ... ...
hateful thought and non-violence often lead to bottled up emotions that I hear is bad for you. So I hope that whoever has taken the time to read all this doesn't find me intimidating. I don't want to make that impression. I just can't stand my step father and I needed to vent.
Just knowing my friends know of my pain is good enough. My mom won't do anything and everybody else is afraid to do anything, so that leaves just me powerless in my room.
