Posted 11 years agoI has found him! My soulmate, my mate for life! I have always been skeptical If I ever would, even having given up as of late. Then out of nowhere there he is, a quick hello turned into something magical. stormmagus about how he was in a jam and needed some quick commissions. I had commissioned him before for a holiday pic with me and my friend shadowquine, which is in my gallery. I quickly contacted him and paid up front for a commission of My panda self and my friend 
flarestarfire in his shire and ram form. Me and Storm communicated via notes about pose and such, and as it said in his journal I could expect my pic in 2 days to 1 week time. Well here it is the middle of February and I still have yet to get that commission. I have sent notes, e-mails and even shouted on his FA page. He is active on FA because he is adding favorites still. I have received no messages or e-mails in reply. I am a very very patient guy, I have waited months before for artists to do the work I paid them for. However, I do like communication! Drop me a line if something came up, the pose is harder then you thought, or whatever the case may be. ESPECIALLY when I pay the full amount up front! As of now I can only assume I am out the cash. Since I have worked with him before, I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. If any of you know him and can have him contact me I would appreciate it.

Furfright dealer question
Posted 15 years agoSo at furfright on my last day there I paid an artist for a custom Mugs the panda keychain...well I have yet to get that keychain and I cannot remember the artists name. So I figured I would take to my journal to see if anyone could help me. She was in the second to last row of dealers, she was selling cute animal keychains as well as adult dong keychains hehe. I paid and gave her my mailing and email address. I am assuming for now she just lost the information and not that she is intentionally doing this, as she seemed like a real sweetheart. If any of you know who this is and if they have a website or FA account, let me know!

Posted 15 years agoYup, I will be there...there was a little bit of confusion with the hotel room thing but we got it worked out. I will be arriving on Friday, driving down and rooming with 
tiberious We will be leaving early sunday morning though. We are staying at the main hotel, yay for early booking!...I think Tibby's friend Kody is rooming with us as well. This is my first furry con ever, actually first con in general. I do not fursuit or anything so I will be the plain dude probally wallhugging or clinging to Tibby. I cannot wait to meet Flare starfire, the guest of honor this year. Here is to new experiences! See ya there.

Posted 15 years agoSo if ya seen my recent submission ya would see that I have changed my fursona. It was a tough decision, I still enjoy my horse form but for the longest time now..specially since I am getting more and more into the fandom, I just felt it really was not me.
I took my time and just let my new form come to me, and boy did it...I went on a month kick of wanting nothing but panda porn. It just feels right and I think it better represents my RL form as well, as I am a big guy not some lithe sinewy hoss.
I hope to have an Icon made for me soon and then more pics of the new Mugs, including a reference sheet for sure.
Panda's for me are not only sexy in anthro form, but they represent a dying breed, exotic, strong and yet fierce. I sure wish they would start reproducing a bit more, I'd hate to be representing an extinct species in a few years.

Posted 16 years agoHad my first positive meet up with a couple local (kinda) furs in MA. tiberious tiberious and skruffs skruffs
An adorable and quick witted couple who I had been talking to via the magic of iphones for the past few months. We ate Thai food...which strangely enough included my new addiction of "Oreo Puffs" Oreos rolled in dough and deep fried served with chocolate, powdered sugar and whip cream, watched a few movies and generally enjoyed each others company.
So I thank them both for their fine hospitality and look forward to seeing them again along with a bunch of new furiends. But now, after such an exciting Saturday I go back to work.

What truly matters...
Posted 17 years agoSo today was just like so many others when it comes to the holiday season...more worrying over bills as I try to get everyone in my life nice gifts for the holidays. Top that off with recently breaking up with my ex of over 3 years and it tends to make a person a bit depressed around these suppose to be joyous times.
Cut to 15 minutes ago after watching the newest episode of BBC's Merlin...I come across a news video on Yahoo of an 11-year old boy named Brenden Foster who passed away this past Friday in his mothers arms. This young boy had been battling leukemia for awhile, and just recently was given two weeks to live. http://cbs11tv.com/health/Brenden.F......2.867696.html there is a link for you to see the whole story. The point is that this young boy in his dying days had only one final wish...to help some homeless people he seen on his way home from one of his many doctors appointments. He got that wish, as not only in his home town but all over the nation people took up Brenden's cause and got together to help those in need.
This story brought tears to my eyes, tears of sadness for the loss of such a caring person, and tears of anger at myself for worrying about such paltry stuff when on all accounts I have it going pretty good. My best wishes go out to Brenden's family and to those he wanted to help.
On a closing note, if you find yourself getting a bit over stressed this holiday season, please remember Brenden...and don't be afraid to ask for a hug from someone...I personally have been told i give some pretty fucking epic hugs...so big cyber equine hugs to you and yours this holiday season.
