I re-purposed one of my twitter profiles to be NSFW/Adult.

From now on, https://twitter.com/MuirsGames will be home to my sexy/yiffy artwork, thoughts, and occasionally photos. I'll also be willing to RP there as well, since it's locked to visible to followers only. Please feel free to follow me there, if you're interested in seeing/interacting with the more kinky side of me in addition to the artwork I post here.

I've gone through all of my old (pre October 2015) art and have deleted the majority of it. Art which was done for me by other artists and my most popular pieces have been moved to Scraps. Sketches which have been uploaded this year are still in my main gallery as I'm slowly going through and colouring them all.

Just a heads up to everyone that I'm going to be deleting the vast majority of my old art.

I've made an account over on Furry Network and have imported everything from FA gallery over to there. Please feel free to follow me over there, if you wish. All my new art will be posted here first though, so my watchers here will get to see my drawings before people over there will.

One of my mother's final wishes was that my sisters and I team up together and sell Modere products.

Both of my sisters have been promoting the business for several months, and now that the company has branched out into Europe (Modere in Europe), I'm now able to join them.

I haven't tried the products yet (I'm still awaiting my first order), but from the research I've done, Modere seems to sell high quality, environmentally friendly products. One of the major things I found in my research that I really like is that Modere doesn't sell homeopathic remedies, which is a very good thing.

As I try the products, I will be sharing my thoughts and experiences here, on Facebook, and Twitter. Fair warning, I won't hold any punches in my opinions. If the "active ingredients" in a product don't do what they claim they do, then I will say so. Likewise, if a product holds up to my scrutiny, I will also say so. Of course, it goes without saying that if something exceeds my expectations, I will definitely enthuse about it.

My mother passed away a couple of days ago after nearly a 10 year fight with cancer. She was a great woman who was super supportive of all her kids and grandchildren. Her family is huge, so there are a lot of people who will miss her dearly.

It's really difficult to deal with everything. I wasn't able to see her before she died, as she lived over in the States (I'm in England), and I can't travel over for her funeral.

If it wasn't for my boyfriends, I don't know how I would cope. They've both been fantastically wonderful since I received the news and have helped me more than they know.

I've designed (and got) a tattoo to honour her. I'll upload photos in the next day or so.

I really need to stop with these long hiatuses from here. 6 months this time; yikes!

Things have been really busy for me over the last 6 months. I've been working hard at my game development course and have finally moved in with my boyfriends after 5 years of dating.

We moved in on Saturday just past and have nearly finished unpacking, though we still have a few boxes/bags left to sort through. We'll get there eventually.

Paul has his own room, of course. He seems to like it here, which is good. The school bus picks him up about an hour earlier than it did in Holbeck and drops him off about 45 minutes later, but he's coping well with all the changes so far.

I've decided to make tomorrow an Artist Appreciation Day. The day itself doesn't seem to exist as an official international holiday (I checked), but I thought it would be fun to get as many people to take part in it as possible.

My plan (and challenge to you, should you choose to take part as well) is to check the front page of FA at least once an hour throughout the day and comment on one submission each time. The artwork can be a drawing, music, or writing, and the comment should include at least one positive thing about the submission.

Feel free to share this journal on your own page to spread the positive vibes, and all that. :P

Here's the previously promised 2 year update.

I started a home learning programming course right before taking my hiatus from FA over two years ago. This was the biggest reason why I dropped off the radar here. Studying computer programming (C++ and C#) takes up a lot of my time and I just didn't have much time or energy for drawing. When I did have time and energy to draw, I concentrated on human, nature (landscapes), and abstract art. And since none of what I posted got views, I stopped posting them.

The secondary reason was I just got tired of looking at furry art and needed a break.

Break's over!

Now, I can't promise that I'll be posting often and that what I do post will most likely be pencil sketches, but at least it's something. Also, if I do any more human, nature, or abstract art, that will also be uploaded, views be damned. I enjoy drawing more than just anthro stuff and I like sharing my work. I'll also be sharing any games that I make via screenshots and journals.

Last year my son and I moved to Leeds, England from Widnes, England. We've got a nice two bedroom end terraced house with a postage stamp front garden about 20 minutes outside the city centre. It's a nice place, and is one hell of a lot closer to my boyfriends, but there isn't enough room for all 4 of us (my two boyfriends, myself, and my son) to spend the night together as often as we would like - either at their place or mine. With this in mind, we've decided to move in together and are currently househunting for a place big enough for all of us.

Which means we'll be moving again in the next twelve months! But the positive side is more personal time with my boyfriends, more help with my son, and lots and lots of CUDDLES! :D

So the last vote was Rouge 3 - Shadow 2. Which means Rouge the Bat is the winner of the Sonic Tournament!

Now for what everyone has been waiting for - the winner of the free raffle. The prize, for those who don't remember, is a digital two character general rated drawing of Rouge the Bat and the winner's character in a pose of my choice.

There were 71 entries. I used the random number generator on Random.org and came up with the number 47. A quick look down the entry list reveals that entry number 47 is held by Executor on Inkbunny!

As the title says, I typed this up on my blog (www.muirdragonne.blogspot.com) earlier tonight and thought I would share it with you all. I've emailed this to The Liverpool Echo (my local paper) in the hope that they print it to help boost awareness of England's Equality Act.

An Open Letter to Business Owners

Dear local business owner,

You don't know me personally, but I came into your business the other day. I was hoping to get served and then go on my way to complete everything else on my "to-do" list, but something happened. You refused to serve me.

My appearance was like any other "typical" guy. My jeans were clean, my shirt ironed, my hair brushed, and I smelled of the latest popular brand masculine body spray. There was only one difference between me and every other guy who walks into your establishment - I am transgender.

You refused to serve me because I am not a "real man" and ordered me to go to another business that was not owned by you. I do not expect you to understand how angry, hurt, and upset that made me. I do however, expect you to know the law. After all, you are a business owner and are therefore expected to follow business laws set by the government.

Under the Equality Act of 2010, when a person walks into a business and they are presenting as (i.e. dressed as and professing to be) a certain gender they are to be treated as that gender irrespective of the gender they were assigned at birth and the gender you may think they are. This means, for example, if a person walks into a male only barbershop, is dressed like a male, and asks for their hair to be cut, then they are to be treated as a male and given the exact standard of treatment any other male would receive. To do anything less is a breach of equality law and is, to be blunt, discrimination.

All we want is to be treated the same way everyone else is treated and to be allowed to live our lives happily, without hate, without discrimination, and without having to fight to do something as simple as get a haircut.

So the next time I, or any other transgender person, enters your business, please do one thing for me. Smile at me and say, "Certainly, sir!" and give me the same standard of service you would give any other guy.

After all, that's exactly what I am - just another guy.

Tonight is the last actual article in this series. It's been fun, and I've learned a thing or two while doing my research for each article.

The final entry is Bigender. Bigendered people may be considered to be part of both the Transgender and Genderqueer categories. This is partly because of what it is and how those who are bigendered live their lives.

Bigendered people are under the Genderqueer umbrella because they are mentally both male and female. Often this manifests itself as "modes". Sometimes a bigendered person will be in "male mode" and will dress, act, feel, and otherwise present themselves as male. Other times they will be in "female mode" and will present as such.

They are under the Transgender category because often, to help with their sense of gender dysphoria, they will undergo some form of gender reassignment. This often includes things such as hormones.

Most bigendered people prefer the opposite birth gender pronouns. So if the person was born a female, they will prefer that people call them "he", if male, then "she". But this is not always the case and depends on the individual person. If you are in doubt, then ask them which pronouns they prefer. Trust me - they won't mind you asking.

I'm going to end this article with two videos made by bigendered people. The first one is by Brin and she talks about dysphoria. In the second video, Sydney gives a very good illustration about what Bigender is.
