For those that have known me for a couple of years know I lost my stepdad of 14 years.

2 years ago today; I lost one of the most important people in my life, my stepdad. I still think of you and even have dreams of you being here and acting like nothing ever happened. You were always there for me and my mom and made us very happy. I love you, dad.

Totally forgot to mention here but I got a job it's seasonal but i'm sure they are going to keep me because they make me do more than cashier where others who were hired the same time are doing as much as me.

And not that I have a queue or anything but I'll be gone for a bit; my mother is coming to visit my boyfriend and I's place and staying from late Tuesday till late Friday.

Commissions are still OPEN till I get a full/part time job because recently we bought a second car since Dakota is eventually going to be going back to school next semester and it'll be easier for me to find a job/getting there. It took a huge chunk out of my wallet and I need to gain it back.

Meeting someone in real life that has the same interests and by interests I mean Kurt Russell. Being lied to about a job. I went to care.com to see if I can get another nanny job and a week ago i get a text about a potential job from this lady. Long story short it was a scam and up until now I was strung along. I didn't get hurt or scammed out of money but it hurts. I guess that's what I get for being so gullible and empathetic. But apparently I'm not the only one that has had this problem with Care.com my bf looked up scams and the same letter/text was there too that "she" sent me, the whole sob story. Whatever now we know. :/

Constantly thinking about art and how no one wants to commission me and it feels bad. Alot of people always say "people are saving up for x con or something" but every time I post no matter what time or date no one seems interested. I want to lower my prices to at least get something. My boyfriend also tries to comfort me and say "you should just draw for yourself" but even that doesn't help i get unmotivated even if it's drawings involving me or my husbandos. Or I think of people commenting on journals or submissions and saying "I totally take one" and I reply "cool just note me with details" and either they don't get back to me or after a week or so I note them asking if they were still interested and they either say "I don't have paypal" or they never reply back. I constantly think of others and how they say I should get a commission from you then later I do gift art or whatnot and think maybe that's why they won't commission me because they know eventually I'll give in a draw them or make them something for free. idk i'm just really bleh maybe delete this later

Why is it so hard to get a fucking job? I know people will say keep trying you'll get one eventually but no matter how many applications I fill out; no calls, no emails, no nothing. Yes we have money saved up but obviously it's diminishing because we need to pay bills and need food. Cameron thinks I'm not trying but I am, no one just wants me and I've been applying everywhere. I'm sorry I don't have experience but you have to give me a fucking chance before it's too late and i'm 30 with still no experience. I'm sorry I'm not talented to make fursuits or porn or art the people even like. No one wants my shitty fucking art I don't even want it. People tell me "you sell your art for so cheap" yeah because i'm trying to get people to buy it even at a low price they don't want it. I undersell myself because if I charged how much it's suppose i'd get negative money. I hated my job in California but at least I had one and how I got here in the first place. I feel at a loss, I can't do anything right. I hate being so useless for him. He got a job no problem since he's been working since he was a teenager and I barely got my "first" job 2 years ago. I applied at Care and have my schedule open yet no bites. I go on there and all there is are babies literally babies I can't take care of a 2 month no that's fucking scary and too risky. Or it's pick up and drop off kids for school which is anxiety city driving their kids with Cameron's car that i'm not use to plus 50 parents trying to get to school on time at the same time at 7am no thanks. Why can't I be famous and just make art or suits or something where I don't have to leave the house? I can't even go to the movies without getting a panic attack for no goddamn reason and feel like I have to throw up. All my family keeps asking "did you get a job yet?' or "are you going back to school?" "i thought you said it was easy to get a job over there, i guess not" Constantly being pressured by everyone, I want to work but no one wants me either for a retail job or art job. Or I get false hope "oh cool perlers, i'll send you a note" 5 months later doesn't hear back from them. Or how others say "hey times are tough maybe people aren't just buying art" while they get commissioned 30 times in a month. I'm fed up with being a failure. I'm a mediocre artist, mediocre friend, unmotivated at life, dumb girlfriend. People say my stepfather would be proud of me but I don't think that's true, he's probably looking down at me and thinking why did I leave my mother by herself and drop my job and not go back to school. And yeah I know people have it worse than me but fuck, I hate me.
