Posted 7 years agoHi, my online nickname is baliame, I was multi's older brother. Multi had a sudden heart attack possibly caused by lung embolism tonight, about 4 hours ago. The ambulance arrived shortly after symptoms were noticed but they could not resuscitate him.
This will be the last time I post from this account - if you have any further questions on the matter you can find me as baliame on various parts of the internet
He had a sudden but relatively painless death and I have literally no idea what else to say.
If you know anyone who was in touch with him and possibly would be looking for him, please relay this.
I have absolutely no understanding of his online presence.

Posted 7 years agowell I've been back since the last two days and might still take a bit of time off since I have the worse indigestion I have ever lived. well there was one worse, that kind of stuck in my bowels and I had to go to the hospital but it was because of hot pastry not half baked ones. Point is, I try to cure myself because my concentration is a pile of poo, I don't have much energy so I'm kind of walking up and down between the PC and my bed, and I'm not sure why it has to relate to headaches and dizziness. It's in my stomach go and pain that.
On another note. in the early hours of Wednesday 1st of august 2018 my dog passed away. She was a friendly, mostly silent dog, always happy to see her family members. Her best friend was a rooster. No much to say we been fighting for her for 3-4 weeks now and at some point she decided she want none of the care went as far as an attempt to attack us just to let her be however no real bites happened. She may rest in peace.

Stream question
Posted 7 years agookay so first of all my apologies that yesterday the usual time it was none, but something came up and could not delay it for today as planned because next week I will be away between 26th till the 30th. So first and for most I want to arrange the stream today. I had no much time this week, had to prepare a Bday cake for someone had to establish a few things and most of the time when I noticed the time I usually just went and fainted on my bed. more so I Went to sleep around 1 AM last night woke up at 5 went downstairs, wanted to drink a coffee, gave up on that went back up and fall back onto my bed slept till 10 AM. Thursday and Friday (before stream) I usually have some important businesses to take care of so my proposal is since I Was a deep bag of shit and could not move forward, I'll do another commission related stream today, around 6-7 PM last till it last, hopefully a long time, And the stream tomorrow, so I won't get burned out I do some personal stuff some character design, some chill stream but here comes the question,
do you want to see me try and make a model of the stalker a base variant? would some modelling stream be interesting for some of you. So just to switch up the art showing formula so it's not getting a bit too repetitive. I'm mostly fine either way really mostly a thing that came to my mind while I was operating on my dog. She's sick.
I'm really not good with wall of texts I usually just loose my thought process mess up the grammar and I just want to go and cry in a corner. Anything else? no so there a question, a heads up and 2 more about streams. No Bryzz tho. he's busy.

Posted 7 years agooh boy this will be a bit of wall of text so prepare yourself if you read it
I'm practically back but not. I wanted to end the hiatus on last Thursday which more or less happened but in the same time it did not. I have lost one our family members and since then I felt quite a bit down and unmotivated did not wanted to say much but I'm sure it will linger and more so considering the funeral will be this friday so everyone ever around me pretty much (well in the family) want to talk about how we will get to this sad event and such obviously not a morale boost. So I spent the last 2 stream times with playing games streaming those, the archive of those as usually is on twitch for a limited time and statically on my youtube channel it's not a well put together channel I'll be 1st to admit that it has some funny moments I had with some games, shadowplays, stream archives, an animation that had to be pre-renderred because I pushed Flash to it's very limits, it's not important.
What is more important is those things along with the fact I failed my tests at uni pushed me to something like a close depressed state. It seems like this second exam period is just a down hill in my emotional state. I get really stressed, I say things I don't necessarily mean, and in some ways I loose myself. If everything goes according to plan I finish with uni in the next year and finally the stress of it will vanish. I mean not necessarily but I heard good things like some of my friends that finished already said something like a bolder was removed from their heads and feel light and happier knowing that they don't have to force themselves to care about these kind of actually quite useless studies anymore.
Among other things it is quite a bit harder when there's a family behind you with 95% of them have no idea how our current time and age an university works, and it's hard to tell them it's not as easy as it was in they time. they came with the useless knowledge to university that they could built upon. When I had my first math class at uni, the teacher went to the table and wrote a bunch of things on the table and then said "this is the way we can prove it" and proceed to write 2 pages of worth of proof for it. And I felt like an idiot not understanding what a mathematical induction is. What is more important is I lost my backing from the country thanks to these "trivial" mathematical solution. My father got fed up with me failing subjects that I actually know. I mean it upsets me too but all it means that I have to get a job that I don't like. And I applied to one that I not gonna like but it's somewhat seems pleasant compared to some other options. It's not really whining about a job because heck I want to work since a good while but I was so unsure during the last 3 years if I would have time for that among studies. But I reached the point where I had 2 days at uni and the rest of the week is practically weekend so I should be more than free to do other things while I'm at uni. But what this means for this page isss... not much actually. I mostly worked on things in my pace and it can be sluggish or quite fast depending on my mood and motivation.
But what it means for my streaming time frame is either It might move to a different time or different day I'll update that once I actually get the job. The application went through I got a call today, but there's a 5% chance that they still say no to it.
Now a bit about the summer...
Not much actually but my summer as for holidays seems to be outlined already quite well for the matter of fact. There's probably only 3 weeks I will take off for myself or 2 and a weekend more like, I will attend to abunai this year again, in the Netherlands, I go to my highschool summer camp to teach C++ and advanced graphics programming (GPU programming if you will) and spending some time with my father for a week or so but some of the down time there will probably be just me making animations.
as for the plan for the next 2-3 weeks I want to empty out my commission list. Not cancelling them but finish them all Most ideally with in 1 week. But I don't personally see that happen that fast All of my clients say take your time, but I actually have a bad stomach feeling at this point and I don't feel it fair towards them for waiting so much. My apologies for taking so long by the way. If I don't get another commission afterwards I start re-newing some rigs and work some other ideas that been around since a while and I just need to get to them.
As for the new possible EU law, I'm actually afraid somewhat. It can destroy quite a few channels on youtube and quite a bit of site content. I don't like it. I like seeing content that people made from some games I like or just stoll a wiki about a game to learn some interesting facts and such. It is dangerous and benefits no-one really. Art and fanworks are practically free advertisements you would rather not silence a community for small people I still try to find the use.
however if things goes wrong and I have to take down and not use certain characters I probably just re-iterate most of them to be different so it's distinguishable but they still try to be what they were. We'll see.. or just scrap them and work with original characters no-one knows about.
okay I done writing I'll try to stream on Friday some art force myself to get back into the ring hopefully. I mean I might still cancel it, if it just too much after the funeral and just try to do some other thing that distracts me completely from the matter.

"short" hiatus
Posted 7 years agoPractically it was already on the 2 last week skipping 2 streams and I have to admit that I worked little to nothing on things, hence the "short" I feel mentally exhausted. So besides Uni I don't really want to do anything else right now just relax or bike after a long session of study. Or sometimes take a day off and do what does not feel forced and I don't go like "ugh" I have this week and the next left then I can shake my head and wake up. If not then well I will need a few extra days to put myself back together.

So I extend the bidding by a day. I take the liberty to revert the bidding state all away back to the 60 bid.
it's less of a liberty and more of a necessity. First of. knocking a bid by 1 is not gentleman like let's not play this game.
Second blacklisting competitors regardless taste or anything also not fair. If it happens the short work around is bidding on the original post creating a new chain.
BUT ONLY if you were blocked. I don't want to write a notification to everyone afterwards with "you been overbid in a new chain" because of it.
It's not a fair play to change certain rules in a middle of it but if people make it a necessity then it shall.
So minimum bid increase is 5€
If you are blacklisted you continue on the same post making a new chain

I was kind of hoping no-one would vote for the joke inputs there, however if you meant that seriously... why?... why would you want either of that? But I do appreciate that i was not a top vote. I should collect everyone's name that voted for the huge patreon logo thing and make sure if the browser finds a login with that name in from the flash application they get to enjoy that giant patreon logo and the content cut in half >_>

Okay let's be honest if I would not ask for money then I would rather than just do things my way completely and maybe once every 7 month an animation or an artwork shows up Passion is one thing getting gears to actually continue working on these is another. Passion and free works won't pay me that. Other founds goes into Uni and living and such so... yeah.

In conclusion I see most people would want (add the "get YCH done already" to it) YCH and commissions MORE than patreons. No blaming them a few concern raised under the artwork where I posted it regarding that, and some would feel they were kicked out from the wheel because a top 1% would occupy me over any other potential new costumer.
So for this reason I think what I going to do is do a tip jar on the main page starting from tomorrow afternoon where people can simply put money into it to support me if they wish, and keep it commission and YCH based. if it becomes unsustainable I might consider other options.

I stricken my rules regarding them in a way that I only gonna accept money in the middle of the work, and will hold on to any further work once we are in the middle of the work till it's payed. It always makes me feel bad when I cannot show anything yet and I already get my money shoved in my throat and I feel kind of annoyed when someone STILL did not pay for the work after it's done. I'm not playing that game.

Posted 7 years agoI would like to wholeheartedly state my appreciation towards all of you out there that helped me gradually increase the number in which tells how many of you receive a notification about the content that I create and upload to this site.
With all seriousness Thank you so much. I wanted to put this in a silly artwork I expected the last kick to that counter only after I've done the last animation.
Now I go and don't miss my bus to uni \o/

Merry Christmas and happy new year

Well I don't think I will have too much time to care about this site considering Christmas - News year going to be a pretty busy period. I don't even wish it to be less busy honestly. Since I will have no way to do it later I guess I sum up my year now...
It was horrible. I wish not to re-live this mess of the year. On multiple notes. Personal, Social, School, name it and I could name 2-40 reason why that particular thing sucked so much I'm genuinely surprised I did not got such a deep depression that I would knife myself. Mostly because we would not be able to hold a gun to finish it fast anyway. Nor do I wish so... That is finish it not choose a quicker way.
But the year did leave a bad mark on me as a person I feel and as well as my connection to the site and to other people.
Despite having a discord group I'm more afraid to talk to new people than ever before. I'm afraid to help my friends mentally anymore and oh boy I'm afraid browsing the front page and look at random people profile that has a neat avatar mostly because I find people that did things to other people that makes my very soul shiver. I mean shiver so much I instantly close the tab and breath deeply to forget it. It's just an ice cube from an entire iceberg that sink the titanic honestly. Life also got harder as my school decided I don't deserve to learn for free so hooray.... Loot Boxes...
On better notes, I've been lately on a better note with my brother, I got new friends as afraid as I am, I feel like my productivity was on the peak by the end of the summer and still somewhat rolling on that, I like the new sonic games, and uuh... I really trying to say something good at this point because the first part was waaay to negative but I'm not backing out on writing that down like so many times before.
There's a saying "we learn from our mistakes" there's also one that follows that at least over here that says "But the smart man learns from others' mistakes". I don't think it's evade-able to make mistakes there's simply just so many to make. I would say I learned from my mistakes or at least I sure hope so. And I look forward to the next year 2018 with all these mistakes bad memories and holes in the wall thanks to my head banging into it, left behind.

Thoughts on interactivity
Posted 8 years agoIf it was not obvious yet, I quite like boss battle themed interactive games. And on top of that I like it more... Challenging. I'm for one however to make it more fair if it seems too unfair, or if people just point it out that it's on the other side of the horse. My problem comes, after that. First, I don't feel like being eaten as a victory is a real reward. It feels more of a punch in the face. In the same time because some of these bosses just bigger than the player character, I... well refuse to make it happen if I do it for me and not for someone. So what I think, I might add a scoring system for both of these so you can see how far you got with how much point. I don't see it as a huge reward, I always felt good by default if I overcame a hard boss challenge that was also fun.
Second. I loved hiding little secrets. here and there which over time decreased as I got less idea what to hide where to hide how to hide. Then disappeared completely after certain events. I kind of want that to return in some way, hopefully a better way than before.
I mostly added vore in those two because. Well I like the stuff so I wanted they inclusion in an interactive way. It does not seem to work very well. So If I do some more I probably will focus on animation and gameplay more, adding secrets and probably just avoid the inclusion all together if it's a boss battle. If I make something platformy, I don't know... over a swamp with crocodiles and such I might add it but in the most cartoony way possible: character eaten *disappears* -> fade out -> fade in -> respawn.
on one more note (if you enjoyed it) the inclusion why you enjoyed it can be helpful besides pointing out flaws.

I don't see problems with no-sounds -> sounds reuploads because that's imo a huge alternation. however I don't feel like sounds -> other sounds is that much (tho no denying the sounds on the new ones are pretty great)

found a website extracting stuff from FA and now I feel bad.

Thing is I wanna keep everyone happy here, but I can't do 3 streams in 3 different times so I will try to do my streams at Friday 9 PM as it got the highest vote (even if there were not many voters but I guess the ones who care put they vote there) this friday however I will have a test and my usual friday shenanigans to do involves looking at a wall of text to instruct a computer to act in a certain way so interactive entertainment happens. If I end up being overly tired I might start from next week instead of this. I will write a journal before it and probably drop an artwork that just notify people that I went online or something. It's always.... questionable what is the best way. People voted for Animating mostly 6 v 3 v 3 I guess there was 3 that went for everything. I have cuphead. That I also beat so you coould look at me suck many dicks and be annoyed about it. Figuratively not literally.
I could host servers for games I like to play so playing with me and with a few friends is actually an option. But I cant guarantee your entertainment in those cases if your ping is simply too high and you have a delay and that's why you winning or loosing or whatever. If I host I would like to have fun and with TF2 getting an update soon I could see myself hosting a TF2 server for myself and others to join and enjoy it.
Not literally shocking. So I was bored searching stuff on google one lead to another ended up finding a rather interesting but yet ... weird to me link among them. Someone has a website that just digs into FA profiles and extract every art they have with description? I don't mean stealing it just extract it and put it in a list. The weirder thing is. I looked at mine and it also extracted things I deleted? I saw my past flashing in front of my eyes including that part when I wanted different purpose for this account then I changed my mind then I deleted everything and then came back 2 years? later and started uploading drawing then got into animating and so on. I kind of trembled it was.... like seeing a ghost. phey.... I kind of got rid of things because I did not wanted to see them anymore I guess it's true what was on the internet once stay on the internet. Good or bad, video or art, song or games they won't is appear and you cannot pretend they did not happen or exists yet there are things including my past I cannot face them really. Did I really moved on if I still feel it's pain if I get reminded of it? I don't know. I guess I did loose something there if not anything else my definition of a true friend.
