WHY AM I MOVING OH GOD WHY?

I don't like bunnies. Mune isn't a hare anymore so much as she is a thing with big ears and buck teeth. And also a gryphon. So the bunny in Munebunny annoys me. ;D

With the onset of warmer weather and longer days, I have abandoned my computer and gone back to spending all my time at the barn.
I'm still around, but I won't be updating or commenting as much. Love for you all. :) Go out and enjoy this weather!

I came home Saturday afternoon from FWA. I missed John and my dog and my bed... but I had a great time at the convention.

Thanks to everybody I chatted with for making it the best FWA evar. Not gonna name names because it sucks if I forget someone, but ILU all. :)

I've had an influx of new watches lately. I don't like going to everyone's page going, "HURR THANKS FOR DUR WATCH!" because it always gets my hopes up when I see I have a new comment and its one of those kinds.

WHaaaaaaggggghhh.. I know. I'm late. this show has been off the air for awhile, but we watched it all on Netflix and cheese and crackers could this show be any more depressing.
I am all le sob right now at the final episode.

I usually don't get sick. I don't know what to do. I took some allergy medicine yesterday and that did not help, so i guess I have a cold.
I wish i could call my mom.

So it looked like I wasn't going to be able to make the con that's only 30 minutes from my house, but now it appears that I will not be out of the country and will indeed be at FWA.

So, goodie.

I want to actually have a good time this year, since I've either been sick or on staff the past couple years.

Excited cause I'm gonna get to ride with my bud  tisket tomorrow. Gonna get an early start so traffic won't be too bad, hopefully. Nothing like hauling your horse trailer through Atlanta traffic.
Hopefully Solo will be good. Haven't ridden in like.. over a month.

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Pulled my own horse and trailer, made funeral arrangements, took a road trip on the back of a motorcycle. I think I fell off Solo in 2011 too, never done that before. But my memory is so bad it could've been in 2010.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't really remember making any resolutions. I'm sure I promised to lose weight or whatever, but I never do.

3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
I'm late doing this. We had dinner early with John's friends and were asleep by 12:30.

My mom.

5. What countries did you visit?
Chile. Wonderful.

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Some extra income. An all aluminum horse trailer.

I don't feel like I've achieved anything.

I don't think I've necessarily failed at anything either.

The horse trailer, I guess.

I don't really hate anyone, but I have been really let down by a lot of people and I've realized we aren't friends and I don't really like them.

I know I read a few books this year, but the only one that really stands out is Garden of the Moon. I had a love hate relationship with it though.

Poor Blue hurt her back yesterday. I took her to the vet because she wasn't acting like herself at all. She was shivering and panting and wouldn't eat her dinner.. it was frightening to see. I never go to the doctor for anything, but I can't stand to see any of my pets in distress, so off we went as fast as I could go. I was kinda freaking out.
At the vet's she lay on the bench in the exam room with me, shaking like a leaf. Normally she is all over the place, bouncing off walls and kissing everyone. She didn't even want to kiss the doctor.
The vet checked her over and examined her spine. When she got to a point in her lower back, poor Blue flinched and tried to dip away from her. So she got an anti inflammatory shot and some pain meds to hold her over for a few days.
She seems to be feeling better today, but no running, jumping or roughhousing for awhile yet. I don't want it to become some chronic problem.. poor little Berry..

Went on a trail ride today with  tisket and her horse Leo. The weather was fine, we crossed a great creek, had a picnic, and had a good canter around a giant field. We went with another friend of mine, and all the horses got along like old pals. Couldn't ask for a better day!

I do need to work on my picnic packing skills, though. :/ I guess I don't know what constitutes good picnic food when you're hot and don't have a proper place to sit.

Yes, I am the scum of the earth for not wanting to waste a jillion trees by buying into the newspaper or your coupon book or whatever.

This chick just rang the bell, and as I'm politely trying to listen to her talk up the paper and a coupon book, these two neighborhood kids come trotting over in their bathing suits with a sandwich bag full of coins.
They kept trying to give her the money, to which she kept trying to tell them no and meanwhile my dog is chasing another kid around in my front yard.

Now. If there is one thing you must know about me, you must know that I despise little children.

The salesgirl was obviously getting flustered so I just invited her inside and shut the door on the kids, after I wrangled up my dog. The kids ran away, and I had to listen to the poor girl rattle on about how she's only selling papers because its the only job she could find, and won't I pleeeeassseeee buy a paper?
Super uncomfortable.

So I had to tell her no, and she had to argue with me, and I had to tell her noooooo and finally she left.

UGH.
UGH.
My chi is all messed up now. :c I was sitting here so relaxed before all that.

Glad everyone is home from AC.. hope all my artsie fartsie friends made a killin', and I hope my fursuiter friends had tons of fun! Maybe next year.. the drive is totally brutal, and I don't want to fly with or ship my dumb suit.
OH WELLS. Welcome home all.

I'm back from my two week adventure in Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. We spent the first week horseback riding and looking at a fantastic glacier, and it was the best week of my life. Patagonia is beautiful beyond description. I can't begin to put words to the feelings it stirred in me to see those snow-capped mountains and see the Moreno glacier. The second week was kind of a weird mix of horrific and wonderful as we traveled around, stayed in weird hostels, and ate at fish markets. MUCHO QUESO!!

I'm happy to be home now though. My dog was so happy to see me she cried and jumped all over me. Sweet Blue!! I missed her too. My poor kitty went wild with glee, and even my horse was pleasantly surprised.
Its nice to be curled up on the couch with my two little fur-kids sitting next to me, one purring one snoozing.

Going to Chile for a bit of an adventure in June. bbl
