Posted 11 years agoIt's my birthday to day and it has started off pretty well :)
I got the snow i wished for, thought it was just for 10min and barely made it white on the grass outside but snow none the less.
It used to be lots of snow on my birthday when i was younger and sadly that's not happening anymore :(
Hoping the rest of my day will be just as good as the start and that you guys have a nice one too!

Monday update 4 + questions

This week i managed to finish off Mysterious island by Jules Verne in audio book format, and it throw me off on a twist i had not foreseen, this was mainly a friend of mine who spoiled a new movie which have taken inspiration from this book, So my friend said it had something to do with Atlantis which luckily was wrong! i had such a blast and was grinning from ear to ear as the story reviled its secret :)
I did watch season 1 and 2 of Hannibal as well, and got a bit shocked at the ending of season two as i thought it was the last episode in the series, but found out later there will be more next year. But i did enjoy this series a lot but not so sure on the ending of season two, let me know what you think if you have seen it in the comments.
Sadly i have not been able to draw much last week, hopefully i will be able to get some more work this week as i will have a lot of night shifts, might even try to stream some of it if i feel like it :)

Monday update 3 + questions

So it's Monday again and time to just tell you a bit about the events that have taken place in my week, now for this week lets share, tell me how your week have been in the comment section ;)
I had me a good caveman experience this week, some construction workers was digging close by and accidentally damaged some electricity cables, setting large parts of Oslo out of electricity for two days, and guess who didn't have electricity for two days?! you guessed it, me! :)
It actually wasn't a bad thing, was kind a nice to shower in a dark room only lit by candle lights, no buzzing from pc's or other electric gadgets.
Even played some board games with my nephew in candlelight, its a nice experience.
We played through most of Heroica, which is sorta Legos take on Heroquest, bit to simple for my taste but my nephew seemed to like it, thought hes a rather sore loser and a terrible winner, loves to rub it in!
The down side to this was most of my food went bad over the days, so had to throw out everything which sucked as its money lost and cold showers *shivers*
Sadly not been able to draw much as i have been working a lot and had guests, hopefully i will managed to get at least the raffle drawings done by today.

The week has gone by pretty fast, i just managed to finish up the raffle winner drawings from last Monday.
My eternal struggle with spiders! good lord, i got arachnophobia and this time of the year the spiders starts to move in, and its mainly the houespider as its called in Norwegian rather large and gross spider, lately they have invaded my bed T_T makes me sleep really uneasy and just fucks with my head. There is a lack of cash this month too, i have spent a bit to much on commissions for my self so i will have to earn a bit of it back so i will open up 5 commission slots for you guys if you wish to buy some art from me, more info can be found under the commission title. will open up for colour and shading which is something i don't do often!
Got my Kickstarter for Relic Knights, a miniature game from sodapop miniatures, sadly i have not had the time to try and put any of the miniatures together yet but it looks nice and man i got a lot of miniatures to glue together, but i am looking forward to testing. Just hope i can find some one to play with T_T
I did get my self some Scooby doo miniatures as well to mod Betrayal in the house at the hill with, it got such a scooby doo vibe to it and there are some people on gameboardgeek that have made the cards for them, its a super fun game and i can recommend it if you ever get the chance to play it.
Been enjoying my self with guild wars 2 a lot lately too, takes ages to complete the map >_> 76% now.
Art update, not done a lot of new stuff my self but as i mentioned earlier i have commissioned a lot of new stuff containing my own character which i will repost as i get them, hopefully you guys will enjoy it too.

Monday update + free raffle + questions
Posted 11 years agoSo here goes my attempt to be a bit more social here, my thought was maybe have a Monday update so lets see how that goes.
Update:
Been a busy summer and not been able to draw as much as i would have liked too, I have rearrange my work space too so its rather smaller and more cramped to work on my tablet but i will survive, was my only option to get some more space in my small apartment.
I do hope to be able to produce more art and i got a few small things i work one, mainly i work on some art trades i owe some friends and a big commission pile a friend order from be in exchange for 2 bags of old snes games <3 got to love those old school games.
There should be more dungeon crawler board game fans here in Oslo! i got so many board games i want to play but no one to play them with :(
Just got my self the lovely dragon strike game! some funky old 90's stuff in that one :p even comes with a VHS tape to set the mood.

long journey for me which still is going on today. It is the life of a board game adventurer and today i just
received the best unintentional birthday gift ever (my birthday is tomorrow btw :p) i found heroquest 25
anniversary edition on kickstarter last night and it is awesome! i can not tell you how i feel right now its
just beyond everything, this have been such a large part of my life and i have collected all of the old sets
even the different rule sets.
I am looking forward to getting this one but another thought that really warms me is the this will now be
available for a new generation of players and i hope many more will enjoy this game and not let if fall back
to obscurity.

Dungeon crawler board game

So are there anyone out there that enjoys dungeon crawler board games?
If so, i am sorta fiddling a bit with some ideas on making one with furry characters and i would like some
input on ideas and such and ofc later on i will need some play testers.
I will try to sculpt my own miniatures as well.
Why i want to make a dungeon crawler game is that there are a lot of them i enjoy but they are ether focusing
a lot on the quest part and got a simpler combat system and the other way around advanced combat but with no quest or story.
so what i want is a game that got both great questing and an advanced combat system.
Reply here if you have ideas for rules and other ideas, and if your interested in becoming a play tester as well you can write that as well here, though
something like that is still far far far off as i have just started thinking about the project.
