So you might have noticed that its been a while since I did any art, but I am getting back into it - and working on digitizing all the sketches I have drawn randomly. Until things slow down at work (sadly November-ish), then I won't have much time to commit to doing anything, but I will do my best to finish up all the freebies I've done for folks and even am working on a piece of Mura for Halloween.

Plus, my birthday is around the corner so I shall be having a three day weekend (YESH OMG YES) coming up - and hopefully all this stress will go away for just a bit.

Hrmmmm.... anything else.....

Ready for a chance at a picture with Mura?

I have been thinking long and hard, and I'd like to get a new commission of Mura. Mainly, looking for something a bit different of my character. WITH THAT SAID, I'd like YOU to suggest some ideas for theme, details, etc.

I will look through the ideas, and the winning idea shall be offered the option to be featured in the picture with Mura!!!! I hope this is enticing for you all, as I think it would be fun to get a new piece with a new person!

((EDIT: To add some clarity. You make the suggestion of my future art piece - and whether or not you want your character featured in the piece. Once I choose the piece I want to get done the most from the suggestions in comments below, I will A) select an artist to complete said commission, and B) Pay for the art. For now, one picture will be chosen, but I might reach out in the future to get your idea drawn. Note me with more questions!!))


A few things to keep in mind:
- You may submit more than one idea.
- Suggest (as a comment below) a theme, background, scene, details, etc.. The sky is the limit!
- If you'd like to be featured in the final picture with Mura, include a link to your reference sheet.
- If you are an artist and want to draw my character, comment below with what you'd like to draw and a link to prices.
- Nothing too naughty. I don't mind sexy scenes of Mura, but they will be tastefully done.
- The 'vote' is being done on my opinion of the suggestion(s) you submit. Completely subjective.
- I'll pay for the art, and send you a copy. If you'd like to help pay, we can discuss after. Payment is not a factor in the decision.
- Other ideas that are not chosen this time, might get used in the future - and we can chat about that if you are not chosen.

So yeah - its been a while, but here's the situation. My car needs safety inspection done - and sadly, I need a part fixed that's going to cost around $175. My car is over 10 years old, and while I have done a great job of keeping her in good condition, she's old - but she's mine. I've had her since I was 16. Yes I am old.

I have the money, but its saved up in my 'mate's coming fund' - since it will be our first time to see each other ([url=http://www.timeanddate.com/countdow.....OUNTDOWN![/url]) - and I want to have some money to take him around town.

Therefore, I am opening two commission slots to help offset the costs of the inspection and parts/labor. I would like to get a lot of work done on any art this weekend for those who want to request them now. My car will go in on Tuesday for the work.

Finally installed my tablet back - but still don't have my old files D:

Working on something special for something special. More to come.

Then - back to working on my commissions :)

SO after being out of town and busy, I have now been sick for a weekend - still not better - and my computer crashed with all my wonderful art in progress.

So - I am buying a hard drive to external converter - hopefully next weekend, and should be able to get back on this. As such, because I am behind on a couple of pieces from SL auctions and one commission, I am closing commissions for now.

Had a great time at the St. Patty's Parade here in Dallas! I then came home and passed out at 8:45p o.o

What a great weekend though. A few minor bumps in the road - sorting through those right now, trying to figure out a few things in my life.

Worked a bit on all my currently open commissions, and took a bit of time to redo a few with some better ideas I was having last week.

2 hours per night. My goal this week to work on art. Its been a slow couple of weeks for my FA fans, and I truly apologize. I will make it a point to work harder this week for you all.

• If a full refund is needed, and the artwork has already begun, I reserve the right to auction the pose/picture idea (YCH) for another buyer at a discounted price, unless other arrangements are made.

• Any reposting of the artwork purchased MUST give proper credit and can ONLY be used as non-profit means.

• I have the right to refuse to do any commission, even if it has been started. If it has been started, I will issue a full or partial refund depending on circumstances.

• I reserve the right to post your commission in my online galleries, portfolios, or advertisements of my own work.

• You may not remove my signature from your commission.

• You CANNOT sell the work or claim it as your own.

• Only a one time courtesy edit will be provided after the commission is finished. If any further edits are to be made, each will cost 10% of the original commission price. I reserve the right to increase percentage depending on how extensive the changes are (i.e., changing a character).

Well, my week started with having to give up the most adorable dog (who I named George) to PetsMart after they found his microchip and owner. Sucked since I had him since Saturday, and it seemed that no one was looking for him. He was absolutely ADORABLE! I grew really attached to him and it was really hard to let him go.

That whole experience just made me realize how much I wanted another dog, not necessarily puppy, but small enough that my big dog, Buddy, would have an 'interactive toy' to play with. He loves small dogs much more than large dogs. So, with that - it is now time for me to take another baby into my home. I found one online tonight, that was taken in today, so hopefully he's still there on Friday (since we have to wait 72 hours for him to be claimed). I am going to call first thing in the morning to find out if/when I can get him!

All that on top of an already grueling week at work - makes Mura very tired in the evenings. I am getting started on commissions and auction pieces, updates below. I plan to spend time this weekend, barring anything crazy happening that prevents it - like last weekend. I appreciate everyone's patience with this time, and my progress on your piece.
