Just got back from Gobble-con 2011 today, and had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, due to douche-baggery on the part of hotel staff, and a lackluster turn out, this local for-fans by-fans convention is dying. It looks doubtful there'll be another year, unless those of us that enjoy smaller cons step up and do something.

Hurricane Irene kicked my tail hard, but I'm back!

I just posted the next chapter to Trevor McFur: Dark Origin (yeah yeah, I know, I need a better title, and the name of our hero is a bit...meh.. but I didn't name him, Atari did! I just played the game too much and am writing a fanfic about him)

A few weeks ago I reviewed Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy for the Atari Jaguar. http://furrysenpai.wordpress.com/20.....galaxy-review/
And in the review I lamented how there hasn't been a single fanfic written about my favorite jaguar pilot. So today, I fixed that! I posted chapter 1 today, and will update weekly.

In the fanfic I've incorporated A LOT from other games, namely Sonic the Hedgehog and Star Fox, and will continue to do so. I think Trevor, Sonic, and Fox can all exist in one universe... right?

The content of it will be mature, but not adult. There will probably be sex (if you've played the game, you know he is mated to Cutter afterall), along with violence, drugs, etc. As tempting as it is to play this for laughs, I'm going to write this crossover with a very serious and dark tone.

I just posted up two new reviews on my blog. One for Shadow the Hedgehog, and another for an obscure but fun Jag title, Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy.

I formally finished writing my 20th anniversary Sonic retrospective last night. *phew* and that should be coming in the fall issue: www.senpaimagazine.com For the past month it's been nonstop Sonic games @.@ I felt like I was losing my mind, just last week I started seeing gold rings and robots everywhere I looked!

So doing a review for Shadow the Hedgehog was a snap after playing the hell outta it. And to be honest, I really really like it. But the game is VERY flawed, but can still be enjoyable, read more here:

So, yeah, I'm the (only) furry corespondent writer for Senpai Magazine, and it's really hard. I still try to wrap my head around the fact that there's so much anti-furry hate in the anime fanbase, at an anime con it's especially noticeable; just by simply wearing ears and paws you'd be surprised some of the the comments I get.

Still, a lot of other fans are very supportive, especially those I work with at Senpai. And we are relying on eachother more and more as it becomes strikingly obvious that magazines are NOT a successful industry, especially those that cater to such a niche crowd as old-school anime and gaming.

Currently, have been able to offer a cheaper version of the magazine, but to do that we need to order in bulk, which takes money... which we lack (We've only been at this for about a year).

Just finished writing my last article for the magazine.

I am putting the finishing touches now on my article for Sonic's 20th anniversary. Will probably post a review or two eventually on my blog. Stay tuned. There's a lot I need to say about Sonic 2006 that I didn't get to say in the article.

Phew, back from CCon and it was interesting to say the least.

It was my first CCon in the Artist Colony and eh... I still had fun, but could have done without all of the drama ^.^;;

I met a lot of really great people, paraded for furry pride, and sold a few magazines, full details later today on my blog www.furrysenpai.wordpress.com

Now I just need to find room for all of my new Sonic plushies!
