Korgash Hamfell character Bio
General | Posted 15 years agolast version was horrible so here is the better version
Psyfer is a classic dwarf. Loves to get in fights in bars, and loves his beer and women. When he isn’t doing his courier job, you can always find him in one of the seedier bars around town. He usually stays until he either picks up one of the barmaids or is thrown out for starting a fight.
He got his courier job when he was thrown in prison, his sinner record states he killed three patrons and it took seven officers to take him down. He is surprisingly strong for his height and it doesn’t help that he also has an unnatural quickness enhanced by his adept powers. The local gangs took an interest in him because of his stoic neutrality he kept in any job he is given while in the pen. One of the more influential gangs decided he was more valuable as a courier outside then in and arranged some of his court papers and police testimony to ‘disappear’ and as such he was released in only ten years.
The gang was surprised to find how indebted to them Psyfer was. He loyally worked for them delivering all sorts of legal and illegal goods for five years before they decided to reward him with his choice to go into his own business as long as some of the profits were shared with them. As such he now goes from town to town in his hovercraft happily doing courier jobs and reading on his spare time or trolling bars.
He didn’t start out this way though. Originally he was raised in his clan of travelling nomads and traders. He was taught how to haggle with practically nothing, and was taught how to read and write. The Korgash clan was one of the far and few that actually still used writing to keep records, it was most amusing to see would be thieves bumble with what we assured them was valuable as they raided us for normal creds and goods. They always left with what they thought was valuable as we grinned at each other, and then unearthed the real books from whatever hidey-hole it was hurriedly stashed in. Psyfer discovered fiction books this way, and as such is now why he wears a two foot bright red Mohawk, and also why he refers to most humanoids as ‘manling’ and reveres all elves as contempt tree-hugging weaklings. Truthfully though if anyone of any race shows that they can stand for them instead of cowers in a corner then they have earned his respect.
His unconventional use of his courier hovercraft and ‘living quarters’ have made breaking into his vehicle quite difficult; not only are there three different security checks, it’s almost highly improbable to duplicate his unconventional way of entering his vehicle. He starts by placing his palm on the vehicle and revealing a large face- panel shaped like his head and Mohawk. He then belches loudly and spits into a small slot on the left. He then pushes his face into the panel and you can hear chuckling emanating from him like he just remembered a good joke. Upon further investigation, tampering with the system immediately triggered what sounded like a self-sealing system.
Upon finally locating his family, the Hamfell’s would only note that Psyfer existed, but would neither confirm nor deny that Psyfer was his real name. I also quickly realized that the rumor of them being big drinkers was an understatement. After their second barrel, I excused myself so I could be sick elsewhere.
Psyfer’s usual appearance is regular fitted clothing and two cougar Long-blades on each side. He also carries a large Colt M22A3 with a grenade attachment that he mostly uses to kill spirits that attack him, and for some reason they do so regularly. I can only guess it’s related to his adept powers.
In the several fights I’ve seen him in. he doesn’t like outgunning his opponents, and that is usually their downfall, most of the locals he has encountered were no match for his brute strength or unnatural quickness. If he disarms them however, he will give them the chance to leave, and will prefer to match them fist for fist. For all his power he doesn’t usually blindly rush into fights, preferring to protect whatever cargo he carries above all.
Creds never seem to be an issue to him, he always has enough to get by with, but its hinted he has a lot more that he is possibly saving for something.

FIRE!
General | Posted 15 years agoThe fireplace was warm tonight, it softly rained outside, and I could occasionally see drips from the chimney land in the flames. They were hungrily consumed and you could see the flames almost dance in joy at each drops intrusion. The many different hues of the fire all had their different and yet similar personalities. The blue and purple is hard to notice at times, but are always the warmest and most inviting. Red and orange are the common flames, always the first to appear and the last to leave, they are a constant reminder of how warm and yet destructive fire can be.
