Another update. I wanted to be back into the Reach YCH by now but I had another setback unfortunately.
I somehow injured my shoulder, specifically the rotator cuff. My dominant arm was pretty much disabled for the last 3 weeks with extreme pain.

I've since been to the doctor and got an x-ray and some pain meds and I'm doing much better, but I still need to be very careful.
I've started some practice runs with personal art, but it's still very uncomfortable to draw.

Once I feel it's safe to get back to it, I promise to start back the ych where I left off.
I know these things happen and I don't have to apologize, but I am really sorry for having to stop like that.

I apologize I had to pause the Reach for the Stars. I am very greatful for the interest and had wanted to get to each comment eventually. Slowly, but eventually.

I had a bit of a setback when I had a surprise trip with family, and I ended up contracting covid, (I'm okay but currently feel like crap) then next week more family is coming.

So when everything settles down I'll get back to the list. And get back into the groove of things.

So with the sudden passing of Dragoneer, I've been thinking about the possible future of this website.
It's no secret that FA has had funding and server issues, I am hoping either current crew or someone will come along and keep this place running, but with no updates on the matter I guess I better start thinking about other places where people can find me.

I am not a big social media user, and long history aside, this site really is one of the last popular bastions for 'Gallery' based websites that hasn't been flooded with algorithm and AI garbage. It would be a shame if it were to dissapear entirely.

YCH is still going on and I'm slowly making it down the list. I had to slow down considerably due to standard real life stuff and my own health, but if you are still waiting your slot still stands. Thank you for being patient.

Thank you for the overwhelming interest as well, I didn't think this particular one would be so popular for uh... reasons. lol. I'll try my best to do as many as I can, I maaay have to create a cutoff eventually but not just yet!

The original file unfortunately got corrupted. I tried to recreate it but I lost my nice backgrounds and shading and in the end was too frustrating. Apologies if you were looking forward to it.

Still alive, stuff is calming down. May be able to start drawing regularly at the end of June\July if everything goes well, and then ease back into ych's. It will be nice to get back to normal.

Sorry for huge gap of nothing. Tablet is broken and having scary family health issues taking my time.

I said I would try to have the new ych up ... 2 months ago...

I think I should just scratch this year off for commissions. I lost someone close to me to Cancer and this whole covid thing has left me mentally and physically drained.

If I were to open the vote ych it would be extremely limited slots, and I can't think of a way to get around that.


Ps - Don't smoke. I watched someone in their prime waste away to skin and bone because of a dumb habit. Just. Don't.

Sorry for the lack of anything. Summer wasn't the greatest.
I hope to be back mid-september with stuff and hopefully second half of the YCH vote.
