Opening for more comms [3 slots]
Posted 3 days agoI really wanted to work on Mentally Charmed Ch2, but the state of the government in my country has made it such that I'm no longer earning an income from my main job...
So I'm opening for commissions in short bursts to help give me some cash to get by.
-To commission me, please send me a note detailing the type of commission you want, a description of its content, as well as any relevant reference pics. I will reply to you if I have additional questions.
- After an agreement has been made on pricing and content on all submissions, the commissions I have chosen will be announced via journal post.
- I will give some extra consideration for those who tried to commission me before but couldn't make it for whatever reason, but please do not take it personally if I do not end up choosing yours.
- It is not first-come-first-serve. I will choose commissions to draw based on which ones interest me the most.
1 - When I am ready to start your commission, I will send you a note and begin working on a basic concept sketch for the drawing
2 - I will share the concept sketch with you and ask for feedback if any major things need to be revised such as anatomy, poses, etc. Up to 2 revisions will be allowed.
3 - Once we agree on the concept sketch, I will ask for payment of the full commission fee up front and begin working on the commission. (Alternate payment plans can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis)
4 - I will send progress update notes as major milestones are completed or as appropriate. (For example: sketch completion, lineart completion, flat colors) Feedback for minor details and adjustments is accepted if needed.
5 - Once I send the finished drawing to you, I will ask for one final feedback if there are still any desired minor details or adjustments. Once that has been cleared, I will consider your commission completed.
When you ask for a commission, please send a note detailing exactly what type of commission you want, what you want to have drawn, and links to any relevant reference pictures.

Remind Me 12K Watchers Raffle
Posted 3 months agoHey peeps. Comms are still underway, but just as a note for myself:
I was going to do a celebration for when I break 10K watchers on FA by doing a free art raffle. Unfortunately I haven't been paying attention and I'm already near 12K. so please keep me honest if you spot my profile saying 12k+ watches and I'm silent, lemme know so I can start the free raffle.

I'm in for Art Fight 2025!
Posted 3 months agoHey guys, I decided to join Art Fight this year to break off the artistic rust that's been slowing my drawing arm. If you're interested, here's my profile: https://artfight.net/~Mykiio
Don't worry commissioners, I haven't forgotten about you guys. I promise this practice will get put into work when I tackle your drawings!

April 2025 Commissions List (Closed)
Posted 6 months agoHello everybody. First off, thank you so much for your messages and interest in my commissions, and thank you for being very patient with me. This week has been really busy and tiresome for me IRL so I wasn't able to respond as fast as I'd like to. I wish I could simply draw everybody's commissions but my free time is rather constrained, so I only chose six based on which ones interested me the most. Please see below for my commission Queue. I will be sending confirmation note replies for everybody that sent me a note.

Well, it's been a month
Posted 9 months agoI really wanted to jumpstart this year with getting my personal art worked on, but IRL has had other plans. These first few weeks of 2025 have been brutal. I'm trying to gather resources for making the next Mentally Charmed comic, but I want to ask, do you guys know any good resources I can look into for developing background scenery for comic strips? Specifically things for setting up townscapes, living spaces, etc
Commissions changeup
Posted 10 months agoI feel like I don't draw my characters often enough, but at the same time I know people have been very patiently waiting for me to open for commissions again.... So I was thinking of a compromise.
What if I opened for commissions that feature my OCs, would you guys still be interested?
For reference, here's a list of my (mostly Pokemon) characters in order of most recent appearance:
Lucky (Lucario)
Maneki (Mewtwo)
Clover (Meowscarada)
Julia (Mobian Rhinoceros)
Dale (Gardevoir)
Karen (Kobold Succubus)
Karen (Weavile)
Olivine (Anthro Obsidian Frox)
Mecha Rouge
Reannah Aumin (Anthro Tigress)
Valerie Dimayl (Humanoid Mimic)
Chip and Victor (Gardevoir and Weavile guys)
Halloween Banette girl
Astarte (Totem Lucario)
Jetsu and Lemonade (Shiny Greninja and Shiny Weavile)
Eve (Giant Serperior)
Silvena (Renamon)
Bee (Blaziken)
Sammy Aquatis (Hylotl)
A'Kars (Garchomp)
Jeez... didn't realize how many characters I made until I actually went back and counted.... And also a lot of smut.

For now I'm just using it to lurk and follow art from the artists I like. Don't know if I'm going to start posting art on there yet but we'll see.

Signal boost for a fellow artist in urgent need
Posted a year agohttps://x.com/DuragonArt/media
An artist by the name of Duragon needs to find enough money to pay for a critical bone marrow transplant by the end of this year. If you're willing to commission or donate to them, it would greatly benefit them. They specialize in drawing and designing sexy pokemon OCs, so if that's your thing then definitely have a look at their work.

Posted 2 years agoHey folks! when was the last time you replaced your hard drive, the thing where you store all of your digital valuables?
If its been several years since you got your drive and you make regular use of it, you might want to consider checking in on its health. For PC, Its as simple as running Command Prompt in Administrator mode and entering the "chkdsk" (check disk) command to have your computer inspect your hard drive volumes for errors and fix any it encounters. If you notice a hard drive taking very long to open up a file or suddenly crashing/losing visibility from your computer, it might need a cleanup or scan for errors to repair. And if those repair attempts end up failing, your hard drive may be on its way to breaking down.
If that is the case, don't be like me and keep nearly half of your art materials and references on such a disk without a backup somewhere else. Because an unstable drive like that could easily decide to give up on existence without any warning, and all those files will be gone, sacrificed to the computer gods.
I'm just thankful I didn't lose any of my current commission works.

Open for Commissions
Posted 2 years agoPLEASE READ THIS JOURNAL CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU COMMISSION ME:
- My commission prices have changed. Base prices have not been affected, but the upper limit for extra character price range has been increased to account for cases where commissioners want me to draw multiple complex characters.
- I will be accepting notes for commissions
- I will open between 5 to 7 commission slots (depending on complexity), commissioners can ask for any type of commission I have outlined on my profile page.
- To commission me, please send me a note detailing the type of commission you want, a description of it, as well as any relevant reference pics. I will reply to you if I have additional questions.
- After a week I will review all the commission notes and choose which ones interest me the most. After an agreement has been made on pricing and content, the resulting selection will be announced via journal post.
- I will give some extra consideration for those who tried to commission me before but couldn't make it for whatever reason, but please do not take it personally if I do not end up choosing them.
SEE BELOW FOR MY GENERAL COMMISSION PROCESS
1 - When I am ready to start your commission, I will send you a note and begin working on a basic concept sketch for the drawing
2 - I will share the concept sketch with you and ask for feedback if any major things need to be revised such as anatomy, poses, etc. Up to 3 revisions will be allowed.

Opening for commissions soon
Posted 2 years agoSometime before the end of next weekend I will be opening for commissions. Please note that my commission prices may get updated between now and when I open.
I will open 5 to 6 commission slots (depending on complexity), commissioners can ask for any type of commission I have outlined on my profile page. Rather than a first come-first-serve basis, I will choose the commissions that interest me the most.
If you are interested in commissioning me I will be accepting notes for commissions when I do open. More details on what to put in your note will be outlined in a journal post I will send out on the day I officially open.
Feel free to write any questions/comments you have on this journal post.
the Itaku problem
Posted 2 years agoFor the past few days now I haven't been able to access my art page on https://itaku.ee/
I keep getting a timeout error or the page just never loads. I've tried using different browsers, switching to mobile devices to access, resetting cookies/internet settings, nothing seems to work. Has anybody else encountered this problem or knows how I could solve this?

Cleaning up my Gallery
Posted 2 years agoIn accordance with the new changes to FA Upload Policy Section 2.7 I have been removing certain pictures in my gallery and scraps folders.
I do not believe any of my artwork violates the new policies, however the updated policy allows the enforcing moderators to exert a very wide margin of arbitrary judgment and so I have proactively removed the most potentially controversial pieces to minimize risk of being flagged for violations.
If anybody sees an existing upload in my galleries and scraps folders that may still pose a risk of being flagged for violation of the policy updates, please let me know and I will take it down. Fortunately none of this content will be permanently gone as there are alternate locations to view my artwork, and will either be provided in the comment descriptions or you may PM me.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Comms closed- CURRENT COMMISSIONERS PLEASE READ BELOW!
Posted 2 years agoTHANK YOU EVERYBODY WHO ASKED ME FOR A COMMISSION, it wasn't easy trying to choose which ones I would and wouldn't draw. If I had the time I would have gladly accepted them all.
I have finished reviewing all the commission requests and picked the ones I will draw. If for whatever reason any of the selected commissioners decide to cancel out, I will make another selection among the submissions and notify that commissioner.
Just to reiterate, here is what I plan to do next for each commissioner:
-I will message you confirming whether or not I have selected your commission.
-For those selected, I will notify you when I begin working on your commission
-I will deliver a preliminary composition sketch showing the basic layout of the drawing. This is where your feedback is most effective in offering changes/suggestions to make the commission more to your liking. The earlier the adjustments are made, the better. If you ask for changes in the later stages of the drawing, they will cost additional money depending on the change.
-Once the composition sketch is agreed upon, then I will ask for payment. I prefer taking payment all at once upon finalizing the composition sketch but if you wish to split the payment, that is possible too. However, due to Paypal taking a larger percentage cut on smaller transactions, split payments will cost more than one single payment.
-If you asked for a more complex commission, I will periodically update you with notes showing work in progress to ensure I am not missing out on anything important you wanted to see in the drawing.
-commissions involving my OC or fan characters usually interest me more.
If anything here needs clarification, please feel free to make a comment below for me to answer.
I have selected the following people listed below to draw their commission in no particular order:

Posted 2 years agoHello all,
Just to make sure you don't think I left everybody in the dark, I am currently going through and reviewing all the notes for commissions people submitted to me. Please be patient as I didn't really have much time during the weekday to go over them with proper attention until now.
In the meantime, I am still open, you may still send me commission notes if you haven't already, but I am planning to announce which commissions I picked by the end of Sunday.

Commissions open (3-4 slots)
Posted 2 years agoI am open to accept request for commission PM notes. I will pick 3 or 4 of the commission ideas that interest me the most to draw and then close. I understand there are far more people than 3 or 4 who have been waiting for me to draw for them but unfortunately my limited free time restricts me from accepting them all. At the bare minimum, please provide all of the information shown below or I may skip your request.
1-Type of commission you want (sketch, lineart, color, etc.)
2-Description or reference pictures of characters involved
3-Description or reference pictures of the scene and/or background you would like to have me draw
4-Is this a private commission that you do not want me publicly posting?
5-Is there a deadline for when this drawing needs to be completed (Normal completion times vary depending on commission type)
6-Any questions you might have
-If your commission interests me, I will reply with a price quote along with any questions to clarify details.
-If we agree on a price and I choose to accept your commission, I will message you a confirmation.
-I will notify you when I begin working on your commission
