I'm trying to get back into drawing again, so I'm thinking of possibly giving this hellhole another chance.
There have been a lot of changes in my life since I purged this account, and this username no longer suits me, so I'm hoping I'll be able to start over under my username on what was originally my "art of me" account, . I hadn't logged in to that account since before the hacking thing, so I'm hoping I'll be able to work with the mods to get me back into that account.
Other changes:
I'm currently in a wonderful relationship with 
, hoping to move in with him soon, just waiting on hearing back from jobs in the area.
Also, in case you guys hadn't heard, my dear friend 
passed away this October. I'm still having some trouble dealing with it all, but his memory lives on with the people who knew and loved him. I miss you, little bud.
Hope to see you guys on the new account! I'll post another announcement when/if I regain access.

after wrapping up the semester, things have been pretty hectic. Mum had to get foot surgery, so I am caring for her currently, as well as moving out of my old apartment and such. i will not really be on here still.

Posted 10 years agothere is too much uncertainty surrounding this whole thing. whether or not IMVU itself steals the artwork, this seems to have opened a gateway for IMVU users to steal art. This has probably been going on for a long time, i know, but i just feel that now it will just be happening more often. this IS against IMVU's terms of service, but I don't have the time to monitor a stupid website to see if art i've done or art of my character is being sold by users. Therefore, today, I will be deleting my gallery WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FREE BASES!
That said, I will still be checking on here for notes, commenting on things from friends and artists that I watch, and posting journal updates. I will still be taking commissions via my Twitter, my email ArleRoxStone[at]gmail.com , and on the FurAffinity facebook page, I just won't post the artwork here! I am currently looking for another site to host my images!
If i happen to delete artwork of you before you're able to save it again, please let me know! I will do my best to recover the original image file, but as I said in my previous journal, my computer is a mess XD.
So, I'm cleaning house, but i'm not leaving! Thanks for understanding, you guys!

Posted 10 years ago...approaching this whole thing with caution. i see several artists taking a "wait and see" approach, well known artists and close friends of mine, and lesser known artists alike. I've been in discussions all day, and have gained knowledge about IMVU's past in regards to respect (or lack thereof) for artists. I also happen to know certain purple dragon site owners who shall remain nameless personally, and know people who have been around to see their patterns of poor decision making for a quick profit >_> but that's another story.
for now, i will be staying here, keeping a close eye to see if any changes made to the ToS and user agreement would affect the rights to my own work/character. things are not boding well for this website, and i will be looking for a good alternative. until some things are made clearer, i will only be posting my artwork on my Twitter, FB page, and my art tumblr. Possibly weasyl. if you are interested in commissions, you can contact me here via notes, my email Arleroxstone@gmail.com, or my twitter, arleroxstone.

Posted 10 years agoi am going to be watching the official posts VERY carefully, but at the first sign of there being a chance that IMVU could use my work, my gallery will be purged.

i urge my past commissioners to PLEASE save any art of yourselves now, as I cannot guarantee that I will be able to find your files later on, my computer files are a clusterfuck.
should a purge happen, I will either be retreating to Weasyl or, dare i say in *inhales*

figured it was time for a life update!
so, school's going okay, kind of relieved that it's my last semester. i can't reveal my plans for after just yet, but it's gonna be really great ;)
i'm taking two courses, one in world literature and i absolutely LOVE the professor, and one on Jane Austen novels, and right now we're on Pride and Prejudice so I'm just melting into a happy little puddle because I love most of her novels <3
i've been trying to work on meditation a lot, as well as sketching daily to keep my artwork up to snuff. i might post my doodles here, they're mostly in the corners of my notes and in my private sketchbook. I'm also slowly working down my queue, which is why you've seen a few new pieces. i hope to get down to the end of it so maybe i can open for some more once it gets less cold and snowy and i get less grumpy XD

I had to go to the hospital in early december for a medical emergency, which led to extra expenses for treatment, as well as the fee for the ambulance. Insurance takes care of most of it, but there is still money that we need to pay out of pocket.
I don't want to put this all on my mother, and my dad won't help (as usual,) so as I'm looking for a job since I will only be a part-time student this semester, I need to take on a few commissions. My goal is $300 to pay at least 75% of what we know we owe for right now.

1) I need an internet break
2) can't seem to find my draw..
3) semester is getting heavier with the workload
4) tablet issues and dying laptop
I'm not leaving the fandom or disappearing or anything like that, i just need to take some time to focus on school and finding a job to pay for a new laptop and art equipment. The only thing I'm actually able to do right now is traditional work, and even then, that's spotty at best.
