Figured I should do a journal update since I was swinging by. I have been managing the discord server for my local furry community since 2019, time sure flies. Life has been busy, kids growing so fast that I can send them out unsupervised into the wilderness now, so proud (though with a GPS smart phone watch... ).

I've hardly drawn much in the past few years, but I do intend to get into gear by participating in the upcoming artfight! It is absurd to think I haven't joined the fight before now, it is so perfect since I love doing art trades and freebies. Better late than never...

And on random notes, I finally got my gaiaonline account back. It seems to have been on lockdown since my long absence and the support system back then was very bad. But I tried again this May and it took less than 10 minutes through a online live support chat, lol. So yeah, I am back on there in some manner, at least not locked out anymore. I might forget about it again, was looking through the old messages and nostalgia.

Well, I figured I should post something about my absence these past 3 years, since I was uploading a old photo of the finalized mask (sorry I forgot ;3;)
When I went to NordicFuzzCon 2016, I was 6 months pregnant, oddly enough nobody noticed during the convention.
Gave birth to a baby boy on the 7th of June.
Then I went to study Web Development for 2 years, while pregnant.
Had another boy 3rd of February 2018.
got myself a fancy looking diploma (though it's no degree, still fancy).
Applied for the local university (University of Reykjavik, it's apparently higher class than the University of Iceland, and lets you specialize in Web development. They apparently have some contract with CCP for teachers and internships).

So I might be a bit busy for a while longer (2-3 years, I dont know how highly the university will value my previous studies so I can shorten the time I spend earning that fancy BSc in computer science).
Might be less busy because both boys will soon be in kindergarden down the street. Yay for free time. Currently only the older boy is attending Kindergarden, still waiting to hear when the younger one can start attending.

I had alot of fun at the NFC convention in Sweden even if I didn't attend as many events as I imagined. Instead of going straight home after the convention I went to Finland with my husband though to meet some of his old gaming buddies in person finally.

 Charha was one of them, a fellow artist as well. She has published some comic books (Nanna) of her own and even done some art for board games (heard of M.U.L.E. ?)

Gosh, I don't remember how old my current wacom tablet is... one and only time I found a solid copy of their products in a local store, so of course I grabbed it XD wacom graphite3. When did they discontinue that thing? still heck old, the cable has turned yellow (from being transparent).

And my laptop charger just up and died on me yesterday. Wont get a new one until next week. Currently using my desktop computer, and realize that they keyboard sucks for fast typing (the space bar aint as it should be)...

I keep posting these after moments of lost attention.
I was moving in June, then I was working alot in July, and then I just barely managed to get into school in August due to my fail in submitting the application completely. And now Im in school again and intend to stay there until Im done (no work in between, maybe alongside, but not whole semesters away).

To be honest, I havent been drawing anything at all for half a year now... lack of motivation? I need goals, and then I tend to draw easier. Like... draw someone else, do more memes (yeah... ). But not contests, I read somewhere that it aint good for ya to enter award contests.

Well, lets see how things goes. Im loving modeldrawing class, might get some motivation there (if the classes will actually be taught, its fallen down twice now, and when we finally got a model, it fell down and nearly fainted x.X )

In the first year, "s" will be used instead of the soft "c". Sertainly, sivil servants will reseive this news with joy. Also, the hard "c" will be replaced with "k". Not only will this klear up konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced by "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20 per sent shorter.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be Expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go.

By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" by "z" and "w" by " v".

Since I've been away from ya all here, for so long, I want to tell ya some news, and my latest personal quest.

Im Engaged X3 do a nice guy who is the sexy and all [laughs] everything I could ever want in any man. As a dragon, he's called Nereid, but he aint a active critter, RP and such, so "Nereid" is just for drawing. Im still working on a good RefSheet for him. and of my Anthro form (She's getting a tattoo, and I would too, if i wasnt so unsure).

Im trying to collect pictures of us together, I only got two so far totally, and that was in a art exchange during valentines.

But Im willing to give ya people a few free sketches if ya tell me what character to draw. And Im pointing out that I have actually now started to take commissions and is a bit new in that area. (take paypal).

1. I can get hyper as hell when I drink coca-cola, even in small amounts. Throwing water bottles with a "I will eat you now" grin at a guy I didnt even know the name of, seems to prove it.
2. I seriously cant get angry, or stay angry, irritated is the worst i do, and that never lasts long.
3. I watch so many horror movies that I once had to wait a while after I finished all of 'em at one local rental store. Har har, and most of all, only like 5% of those could really scare me. The japanese can come up with things creepy as hell.
4. Im bad with names if I dont use 'em much, or if I have never found the reason to remember, its the damnest thing when you cant remember which one owns what name when its your own group of half siblings. Just because I dont see them much.
5. I guess my interest in games can be considered boy-like, first-person shooter games are the most fun, usually in games when I learn to work the controls and to aim, you're done for [evil laugh] though I dont like shooter games in PlayStations or such consoles, that stick fails me if its not set on 'inverted'
6. Ya might notice that I like dragons, like 'em lots, though its more about mythical creatures if its about loving, you wont find enough of dragon items or such in my room to think Im a dragon maniac.
7. I dont really like to make a fool of myself, but its hard not to when Im me, though more of a insane person than a fool. If you take something of mine and want me to chase ya for it, beware, I tend to kick some shins when Im hyper or irritated. If I do something silly, by accident, I tend to act like it didnt happen, or more like that it aint something strange, har har.
8. I like random things and Im curious as hell, which makes me happy not to be cat, or I would be dead many times over that 9 lives wouldnt cut it. I dig into the most pointless things and end up finding the weirdest of things. Such as a fat fat fat kid eating noodle soup from a can and banana slug chewing its own penis off.

How are ya all? This and that has been going on with my life. I havent drawn much in a while, but did some art recently (most might have noticed that they werent all too happy feel pictures either). Now I know how things are, and aint all too happy about it. Its strange how some people, doesnt matter how honest and solid they might make themselves seem, are such complete lying b*stards. And on such a small island that seems so very perfect to live in, there are all too many of them.

Being used sexually, I guess past is past, but now he gets away with lying to his girlfriend. Yes, it apparently turned out to be an affair, him cheating on her with me. He seemed so nice. People were even getting the impression that we were a couple, we never implied that.

Its not that Im trying to break them up, because I couldnt be more happy for them if they managed to stick together, but if its in denial with him lying still, if Im going to be ignored and posed as the liar in all of this. Dont think so. Im not all too happy with the way he handled things. And to think she got to know the whole truth. Some people are different, thats true.

But after what I've learned, he could do it again and she'd never know.

Fixed my internet connection. It was dying every 10 minutes x.x, meh, now its working well

I found my graphics pen... again, actually... its my mom's, mine never worked x.x

and I had to re-install the driver for my scanner, I have no idea of why my computer suddenly couldnt find my scanner. It works again X3 hehe.

I had killed my last filter-tip pen for my inking... only had a strange ink ballpoint pen that was similar... now I got 4 artline filter-tip pens for my inking and lineart X3 hehe, I tried 'em on the sketch I did for Venothaya

Then I finished the sketch of Shinerai. Im going to ink it if I've managed to get the markings right enough. then its to deside wether to color it with Photoshop or traditionally. Maybe both? hehe...

And now that my internet is working and my tablet got it's pen again, Im curious about this OC online, drawing with others and such X3 ... no... I dont have OC on my computer, yet...

and I need to complete my journal-headder links >.o what ya think? hehe, yeah, I know I should.... as well as the other four of my 5-artsy thingy. Ive done sketches, but nothing complete...

Da w00t w00t, its my birthday.... well, yesterday (cause its past midnight)


I had forgotten it was my birthday today until my mother called me at work this morning... saying "happy birhtday" in a singing tone.... I was so confused... "eh... today? tomorrow? now.... eh... oh... ! heh ^^' thanks mom.... "

I have looked everywhere, and seem to figured out that I have really lost my graphics pen (the one that makes my graphics tablet work o.O).... It was actually my mom's pen, cause my own doesnt work (never did, its the same type of tablet, Trust). Bleh!

And I say it again: "I wanna learn to use watercolors" still I never pick up my watercolors and do anything... i think I might just do that soon enough ^^ found my watercolors [laughs] watercolors in tubes <.<

Got a lil artistic spree one night, collected all the stuff I knew about: watercolors, acril colors, oil colors and color pencils, old pens and markers, pencils and pencils, paper and sketchbooks.... even a stand for oil-canvas'... (but the canvas' we had were too big for my taste... at the moment)... then I just fell asleep ^^'

And I have lead my curiosity towards how to get payed for commisions (I tend to check things out just to know how they work, and is a 'self-techingf' freaky thingy sometimes)
