On April 10th, my account (@JarbyJarbat) was permanently suspended for threatening my friend  TheAveryUnit. It was 100% a joke and was in response to this tweet:

For context, the tweet is essentially "if were are mutuals, post a picture and I'll add you to this chart and tell you if/how I would fight you," which sounded pretty fun! Everyone else was replying with "fight me!", so I did something dumb and took it a step further with "I will end your fucking life." Avery and I usually talk to each other like this outside of Twitter, and he knew immediately that it wasn't serious or meant to make anyone feel unsafe. However, I had forgotten that this could be perceived as an actual threat by Twitter's hell algorithm, which automatically suspended me a few hours later.

I immediately filed an appeal because it was just a misunderstanding and I would never seriously threaten anyone like that, but after 12 days of waiting I got the following response from Twitter Support:
"After investigating your appeal, we have determined that your account posted content that was threatening and/or promoting violence in violation of the Twitter Terms of Service. Accordingly, your account has been suspended and will not be restored."

Apparently the penalty for sending threats over Twitter is permanent suspension, and only rarely is this kind of suspension lifted. Seeing as Twitter's Support team is hot garbage and won't ever take the time to actually investigate context or read appeals fully, I don't expect them to ever restore my account. And if I were to create another account, they would be able to determine that it was made to evade a suspension and ban that too. I've filed another appeal, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

This might be a little dramatic, but I'm totally heartbroken. Now that Tumblr's dead, Twitter is pretty much where most of the fandom has gathered, and I feel like I can't effectively participate anymore. I'm going to miss seeing what my friends are up to and all of the amazing art that's not shared anywhere else. I know it's just a dumb social media site and my suspension shouldn't affect me this much, but I didn't get much sleep last night because I was so upset. It was a place where I could be my weird, perpetually horny self without fear of judgement, and now it's lost to me forever because of a stupid mistake.

I've decided to raise the size limit on commissions to 6,000 words! The last few commissions were pretty lengthy, but I realized while writing them that I didn't really mind that. 4,000 just seems tiny now.

My price is still set at $4 / 500 words. Additionally, I'm not going to be awful and demand more money if the end result is more words than what was paid for. Demon King is a whopping 6,730 words of demonic goodness, but was only $36. After you tell me what you have in mind, I'll estimate the length of the commission to the best of my ability.
