Soo was I wrong?
Posted a year agoWriting this now after thinking more about my fursona, and the more I think about it the more I still think about my Drow character of the same name. Honestly after having this drow character since I was about 15~16 years old it's going to be hard to let go; perhaps I need to think of a compromise. Depending on the game type, forum, or discord server I can present as the panther Shyntae, and everywhere else the Drow - Shyntae? May do some more edits on this as I think more on this topic
Finally come to terms
Posted a year agoNot really sure how to preface this but I guess a bit of backstory is in order to kind of explain on the title of this post:
For the longest time I've always played a Drow character generally for the past 15+ years it has always been so and even during my stint in SL I played a drow character. For a while I did have a mistress that collared and gave me a kitten attire which at the time I didn't 100% like, but felt it was pretty cool to have especially with a tail. After a while we split ways and I never really used that skin again, but would every so often put on the skin for fun.
Overall my entire journey through SL led me to quite a few furry locations and lands and I made some great friends in the community; but I never saw myself as being someone who was in the community myself as I was always playing an elf and never really had a tail wherever I went; but in a way in the back of mind it was something that I truly would've wanted.
Fast forward to present time after playing FF14 since ARR as a elezen ( sometimes Roe and sometimes Hyur; but primarily Elezen ) but now Hrothgals were finally introduced. To say these got me in a chokehold would be an understatement. I battled so long trying to figure out on whether to fantasia back to my elezen character or stick with that and did a bit of soul searching ( as well as just searching the furry community in general ) to finally come to terms with I love the overall look, aesthetic and appeal of not only hrothgals but my..fursona I guess in general?
While it's still just a WIP at least in my mind I at least have a good basis for how I'd think she'd look. So I'd like to say hello to whoever reads this and will be accepting to my panther fursona ^_^.
