jeuriWarped Tour 07
Posted 18 years agoHere goes a long 'un, from Warped.
SUNDAY.
Left at 7 am. Drove to Houston, as it was POURING rain, stopped at the same Denny's we did last year. When we got seated, we realized. OH SNAP. We're at the EXACT SAME table we sat at last year. Creepy. Raining still. Bemo got a call from Bhoe and was told that the show was put off due to rain. D: SO we ate, drove by the venue, and they confirmed it. So we went to the hotel and got our rooms and chilled for a bit. Coda and Mikey weren't planning on staying the night, and they were broke. So, they came and chilled with us. We left from the hotel and went to the Holiday Inn, where Bhoe was staying. Chilled there for a bit then left and milled around at Guitar Center. I played with some Technic 1210's, they were hot. <3 After that, we went and walked aroudn the Galleria, making high-pitched noises and flicking money at the ice skaters. Left, and went back to the Holiday Inn, where we heard singing from one of the rooms that Bhoe said that COHEED AND CAMBRIA were staying in. So, we knocked. The bassist answered the door, half naked, since he just got out the shower. We shook his hand, told him they rock, etc, then he shut the door and we left. Went and drove around Houston for a bit, ate at Lambo's, then went back to the hotel. Much confusion and wasting of gas and scraping of Cod'as gas tank was had. At the hotel, we chilled and cracked jokes. Got two videos, too. This one, Coda only shows us half a nip, maybe something more. And this one, Bemo brings sexy back, kind of. Finally went to bed at 1'ish.
MONDAY
I woke up at 8, shwoered, and decided to wake the rest up by blaring Killswitch from the xbox. It worked. Got everyone up, paced, and we left. Hit up a McDonalds, got some breakfast, then went and sat outside waiting for the gates to open. They had the concert inside this time, so it was wierd. Got there, first thing hit up the Coheed tent. Got the two Amory Wars comics, and arm band, and a tour shirt. Then went to the mainstage and Watched New Years Day, which was good. Pushed my way to the front, kinda semi listened to I think Boys Like Girls, then Big D and the Kids Table palyed. Never heard of them before yesterday, but they're really good. Ska. <3 Took a few pictures, but was being pushed around/pushing people around to much to get any decent ones. I hardly got any pics this time around. After that just kinda stayed in the same spot, working my way to the front of the other side of the stage for Coheed. 2nd freaking row. Crowd was rough, I caught Welcome Home, their first song, on video, but I'll upload that in another post since its huge and Im getting a friend to compress it. Played Everything Evil, Favor House, In Keeping Secrets, one of their new sogns, and I think one other one. It was so amazing. <3 After that, just kinda walked around, watched Escape the Fate, then chilled up in the stands for the rest of the show. Killswitch Engage played last, and the crowd was tearing the palce apart. It was insane. Amazing show. They played End of Heartache last, and during the last chorus, the singer jumped off the stage and ran into the restricted area of the stands and sat down. So me, Derek, Mikey, and a bunch of other people rushed over there and gathered around him, and we got to sing the last part of the song. I so totally rubbed his head, too. It was a damn sexy show, even though I only liked a couple of the bands. Way better than last year IMHO. After that, we left and headed home. Hit up a Taco Bell that failed at life and gave Bemo the wrong order. Got home, put pics on the computer, ripped some cds, and went to bed. It was a good way to spend 160 bucks. <3
My ears are still ringing, btw.
Crappy pics ftw.
EDIT: Coheed and Cambria playing , Welcome Home their first song of the day.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
Posted 19 years agoI sat outside local Bestbuy for 14 hours Saturday night for one. I was the second person in line. Htere was much multiplaying of DS games and hot coco. The new Legend of Zelda is amazing. Im going to pick up Red Steel tonight, so yipee. From what I've seen, its far better than the PS3. The display PS3 FROZE while I was playing it Sunday morning. It was pitiful.
