Posted a year agoSo i enjoyed Hazbin Hotels season 1 finale. Tho all i have left else to worry about this year is about Digital Circus season 2 and however that show turns out. But lets be real... Im kinda tired and done with having to dive into mental gymnastics over being defensive about a particular franchise that i love but others hate and the defensiveness lasting for over a few years or more.
My first fandom discourse saga began with the star wars sequel trilogy, where i used hate disney wars for retconing legends and i would bash the sequel trilogy for its plot holes. (I dont hate it as much as i used to but the movies havent aged well.) Star wars Sequel saga
Then my next fandom Discourse saga with the DC snyderverse where i would be defensive about Man of steel BVS and other DC films and remember having depression fighting particular haters that i dont wish to name and doing my best to ensure that the franchise succeeds as it does, and when the snyder cut premiered, I was more than happy to feel joy after all that hardship.
Then finally the Vivziepop saga, where i would be defensive about helluva boss and hazbin hotel and vivs actions weather it be about behind the scenes drama or delays or her having to argue with critics, and making sure hazbin succeeds. In the end this all paid off and im happy to see vivz go on and hope she can all rest when her series are complete.
So whats next? A Gooseworx Saga where i gotta defend Digital Circus?

How i feel about indie animation and fiction in general.

f im gonna be perfectly honest with you and all, besides Hazbin and my own fiction, I dont really feel like ill ever have anymore intrest in any fiction in general anymore after hazbin weather it turns out good or bad. Only the stuff i wish to write will matter to me.
And its not because im a butthurt fanboy towards 1 specific brand, or because i like bad writing, i just dont really have love for fiction as i used to anymore.
Digital Circus i feel like i predict itll just be a torutre fanservice meme cartoon that relies on the fan memes it brings rather than an actual escape plot. I know for sure the show will probably become disinteresting as it goes on.
Lackadaisy, i dont see any potential with that series at all, and NO this has nothing to do with the stuff that Zebitch or Tracey Did, it just looks like any other generic 1900s timeline media. Almost as if trying to be a furry sopranos. I dont have the time, paitence or interest to read the comic, but i dont really have anything against Trace. Im just stoic and unfeeling for it.

It can be legal slavery as the machines can't feel, they can't talk back or talk shit behind your back, or plot against you.
AI should be your house slaves. Whip em, bash em, overwork them, and ensure they keep on generating and you edit the stuff until it's absolutely fucking perfect. And unlike John KKKs employees, you can get away with it cuz it's AI souless machines to whip and slave till they overload them you can easily replace it and mass produced them.
