Yep!! I'm thinkin about it, and I want to open commissions for a slot in my A Sketch A Day line-up, that mind you has been going on since January 1st!! With this, it'll probably be about $5 each ish?? And you'll have your character sketched or sketched and colored ($8 roughly). I'm tryin to muster up enough money to go visit my best friend, and right now, this may be the only way, along with paying bills. Anyone up for em??

Open commissions?? I mean I always say they're open, but who wants me to officially open them?? I'm hoping to help pay bills with them, and whatnot. xD 2 jobs isn't quite covering it all, but I can manage, hehehe.

Welps, since I can’t see the eclipse, I’m typing up my rant. What rant? I’ll explain!
-COMENCE WITH THE ROAD RANT-
Sure, no thing! Okay, so I’m driving home Sunday evening after leaving the ball field, and I had this huge thought processing in my mind. This large… story, epiphany?? Something of that nature, and it wasn’t until after something happened that I realized it! I’m driving home, paying attention to the road, when I realized that all on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, I noticed how more and more people are becoming road-rude. Yes, ROAD-RUDE! I’m sorry if you’re reading this and you do it, but it irks me. Some things that I noticed PRIMARILY ON SUNDAY (though one or two on Saturday) are…..

1) Pull over when you see a funeral!! I don’t know how many people were still flying! Come on people, I don’t care if you know them, or you’re late, it’s respect. Half of them are probably military vets that passed! IT'S RESPECT!!

2) Pull over for EMERGENCY VEHICLES!! I saw at least 4 “SIREN EQUIPPED VEHICLES” going down the road Sunday, WITH PEOPLE NOT MOVING OUT THE WAY!! Hello? They have sirens, they have lights, they have more important thing to do and places to be, than behind you going slower than molasses, because you want to stay in the way.

3) Give room to tow-trucks when they’re picking up a tow or accident scene! I know someone who was a tow-truck driver, I went on calls with them. For their safety and yours, slow down and get over. They need room, they need to do a job, and not worry about y’all speeding down the lane next to them. They have lights too! Why? So you notice them! Don’t put them in harm just cuz you’re impatient.

4) Don’t tail people because you’re going too fast. All it takes is for them to have to do an emergency stop, and boom, you’re losing your vehicle, or even possibly your life. I had a total of (yes I counted) 7 people tail me, and almost slam into me, IN A VEHICLE THAT’S NOT EVEN MINE!! I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna get into family trouble because of your stupidity.

5) LET PEOPLE OVER WHEN THEY NEED TO GET OVER! I know there’s been a couple times when I’ve had to do a last minute lane change, or I’ve even had my blinker on for AGES, and people don’t let me over. It’s RUDE, and can cause problems. It doesn’t take but 3 seconds to let someone in. I swear.

6) Last one I think, don’t cut people off just because you’re in a rush. So many people do that, and one day, you’ll cause an accident. For you to cut someone off, you’re putting at least 2 lives in danger, if not 3. Yourself, the person you cut off, and more than likely the person you wedged yourself past in front of the one you cut off! All it takes is one wrong move, and you could be flying across lanes of traffic because of your carelessness.
There may be more, but those are the major ones. I can’t stand when people pull this mess!! It’s not cool, nor is it safe! I know not everyone’s gonna read this, but you should. You can even feel free to share, because noone wants to get hurt. Like I said, if you’re someone who does this stuff, sorry, but you gotta get over it.

Right now all I'm opening is Icons!! Quick and easy on my part, and hopefully enough to bring in the ever dwindling funds in my household, XD

Since my dad's accident in June, and the most recent occuring in December, I've been having to take up the slack on bills and whatnot. I'm not gonna lie, I've been doing it since before, but yanno. Therefore since money is SUPER tight, we still have bills to pay, and we're getting behind. So enough of the sob story (which isn't intended xD), I'm gonna be doing quick traditional headshots!! Okay, so I have a question. How do you make your characters/fursonas? Where to they come from? Are they random, or thought out?? Do they have a backstory, or started as a doodle? Colors, do you choose them randomly or do you think them through? How do your characters get created?? I'm curious!! My first one Ardeon came from a random doodle I was doing one day, and I've loved him since. The adoptables that I have up were random as well, and now they're turning into fursonas!! I love every sona I see, but it makes me curious though, because EACH ONE I see is different, of course. I'd love to hear your stuff!! Don't be shy!

Alright, so... This is my FIRST journal. And before I get into what this is really for, I'd like to say I love being part of this community! :D I want to say though, that while it's not the way to START my journals, I feel the need.

Okay, soooo. Let's start from ehh, the beginning, shall we?

Just recently in July, I started fussing more and more about my parents smoking, and I'm assuming dad got tired of it, and made me a promise-deal. That promise-deal was that come AUGUST 1ST, he'd drop the cigarettes, and smoke no more. We agreed that he could use the electronic one, because not only is it healthier, but it's cheaper. He said he couldn't speak for mom, but he'd do it. After talking to mom, he convinced her, and they both were to stop on August 1st.

All good, right?? Ehhh.

They had one or two cigarettes left on the first. I was NICE and let them have them. It's one left apiece anyways. SO! They'd stopped after that. Since then, I had left for about a week, then came back. I was under the impression they'd still not smoked except the electronic cigarette.

All good, right????? WRONG!!

I caught mom putting out a cigarette yesterday, and didn't think nothing of it at the time. Quite frankly, the thought didn't even cross my mind. Today, I caught both of them smoking, and they thought I didn't see it. They were across the street, and was unaware that I saw. I made it quite apparent that I saw, and that I was mad. A promise is a promise after all. Then dad says stuff later on like "It's not like ONE cigarette matters every now and then." or "3-4 a day is better than 2 packs a day!" THAT told me they'd been doing it when I'm not paying attention, or not at home. Ugh, by then I was getting madder. Another comment made was "I didn't have a cigarette, and you can't prove it." Mom wasn't there, and I hadn't spoken to her, so I started to go off. I told him "A PROMISE IS A PROMISE, AND I DO HAVE PROOF. I saw you with one across the street, you just admitted to smoking over the past few days, and there's ashes all over the bench that I CLEANED before I left." He said nothing, and I was quite angry. By then, it was time for work, and I left.

SO, I just got to my grandparents' house, and the first words grandma says (other than Hi, how was your day) "Dad says he was naughty, and that he's been smoking. You know it's hard to quit." I understand it's hard, it's smoking. I don't smoke, but I understand. I insisted that a deal was a deal, and that they said they'd QUIT, not SMOKE ONE EVERYDAY.

Which then got me to thinking... Since my 13th birthday (which resulted in everyone arguing, and leaving the table), certain promises have been broken. Some even before then. "I PROMISE YOU A PARTY AT POINT MALLARD FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!" "I PROMISE YOU A PSP FOR CHRISTMAS!" "I'LL COME TO YOUR SENIOR AWARDS DAY!!" Each of those were broken. Along with one as a child "I'LL COME SEE YOUR MINDS IN MOTION SHOW AT SCHOOL!" and another "I PROMISE TO GET SENIOR PICTURES WITH YOUR FRIENDS." It all just... I dunno.

It just seems like more and more, they don't care about how they hurt me.

I'm sorry, I just really feel the need to vent that all out... :(
