My own species: the Moli
General | Posted 6 years agoI finally have my own species up to a development level where I am happy to open them up for people!
They are called Moli, and are mouse sized critters born from a waterlily blooming after it has been touched by a drop of liquid moonlight. Since they are essentially born from light, they are fully formed physically when they emerge from their flower. All development they go through is mentally and emotionally. Once a Moli feels like they have matured enough, they build their lantern from any materials they have available to them. They place a piece of their Heart Light inside upon completion, leading it to glow with the same colour as their eyes.
Moli live in small communal groups near bodies of water. Their favorite place to settle are weeping willow trees, but in their absence they're able to settle just about anywhere, from abandoned structures, to empty underground burrows. No two Moli villages are the same, in fact no two houses tend to be the same either.
Despite being born from light, they still have to maintain their energy through eating and sleeping. Honeybees are popular to befriend and maintain for their honey, but ants are also frequently kept. Beyond that they also forage for seeds, nuts, and edible flowers. Moli are not necessarily just herbivores, but due to their size it is simply much safer to get food from sources that don't fight back.
For more information, I have made a folder with all the info oages I've made so far!

Auction, pink pearl Dutch AD
General | Posted 9 years agoWell I've gone ahead and done it now! I've made my first adoptable Dutch Angel Dragon. They're based on the beautiful pink pearl and the waters that bring them. As such, soft colors feature heavily in her design and pearls decorate her wings and manes.
I hope I'll be able to find her a good home!
If you can't bid or are otherwise not interested in the character but want to help, feel free to spread the word It will help a lot.
thank you for reading!

nachtraeNew arrival
General | Posted 9 years agoSo for anyone somehow hopping onto this page of mine, I'm a new arrival on Furaffinity. I've been part of the Dutch Angel Dragon group for...Maybe a week now at the time of writing...? So yes, new new new. I've always liked anthro art for it's creativity, but never really got introduced to the furry fandom. I don't even really remember how I got in it either. It just kinda happened. All of a sudden I was listening to hours upon hours of 2 the Ranting Gryphon and Uncle Kage rants at a time...at work. Really therapeutic actually.
And then I found Telephone and I fell in love with the Dutch Angel Dragons, which lead me to the facebook group, and from there to finally register here.
That's my whole, rather uneventful journey to signing up for furaffinity.
Bye byes!
