REASONS
I hated being called Naff
In England, Naff is slang for pretty much anything bad, and It used to hurt being called it. A lot has gone on as well, and I want to start out fresh, at least to myself. I have been really productive as well, so I hope to get all my commissions done as soon as possible. I am not trying to hide from anyone as well!! So if someone is looking for Naffiro, please point them to WhimsicalWyrm. I will be posting this on every plattform I have been on, as I have changed everything of mine to reflect the change to whimsicalwyrm. Thanks for understanding, and I hope you follow me there ^^

Status Update!!

I don't have much time to babble, but I am feeling better and back to work. While there is nothing that can be done for my Ocular migraines (since they are a side effect of the trigeminal neuralgia of the left side) I have decided to just work my best and hardest between attacks. I am not looking for pity on this, just updating you guys on the situation ^^. The ocular migraines have become less frequent now, and while I still get one here and there, they are not as abundant as they were the last few months. Thank you guys so much for just being there with me through this, I can't tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you!!
Now a quick note on refunds!!!
ANYONE looking for a refund should contact me. While I don't have cash on hand to give you, I can at least add you to my refund list, which I will use to keep track of those who need money back instead of art. I am working hard on trying to get some extra funds to pay back anyone who wishes to be on this list. Things to know, I will not be mad if you want a refund!! I will try to accommodate you to the best of my abilities. If I have any extra income, I will funnel it over to those who are on that list. That includes all of my stimulus money, if we get some more, and that includes money I get from selling my house. I can't guarantee when either of those two things happen, but the hope is that this will be within the next 6 months. Refunds will be given out to commissioners first and anyone else I have borrowed from next. Commissioner refunds go out by first come first serve. NOTE Everyone on the refund list will eventually be given a refund, especially when my house sells. I apologize for the wait times, guys.

STATUS UPDATE!!! And Ocular Migraine

I wanted to take a moment to send you guys an update on how I'm doing/ whats going on with my art at the moment ^^
I know I haven't uploaded in a bit, and that is due to my Ocular Migraines. The Ocular episodes can last for up to 6+ hours depending on the type of migraine it was, though I have experienced multiple migraines that have pushed it to last in longer than 3-6 hour bursts. Once the bursts of Aura are finished, the lasting effects from the flashing lights can effect my vision for another 3 hours or more, resulting in up to 6-7+ hour or more attacks in which I can not see, experience flashing lights, fireworks of colour, and in general, a white blinding light, sort of like when someone shines a flashlight in your eyes, resulting in blindness blindness.
Though I have had this condition for many years, the root cause of my Migraines, Trigeminal Neuralgia, has taken the main focus of my treatment. Which means that my doctor doesn't focus on the ocular migraines, he focuses only on my trigeminal neuralgia and the treatments for it... Because, treat the root of the conditions, you end up treating all of the problems it has caused over the years.
So, if you understand everything so far, My Trigeminal Neuralgia causes a lot of health problems for me, including but not limited to, Ocular Migraines.
Now, I have been having clusters of these Migraines, and along with the debilitating pain, I have been left blinded for hours, and thus unable to work the past week or more. For this, I apologize immensely!!! I will be getting back to work asap, hopefully Monday or Tuesday.
Now I know this sounds like just a story to get off work, or an excuse to not get anything done, so I am offering to show anyone and everyone who asks for it, The doctor's note that says I am currently being treated for these conditions!! I also have an appointment to follow up on my conditions on tuesday of next week! Which I will also have proof of for those who would like to see it.
I just want you all to know that I am trying my best to be open and 100% transparent about everything.
Thank you guys for sticking with me through the tough times, And on the good times, I will do my absolute best to deliver something that you are just going to LOVE!!!

Artist Beware - Naffiro !!

I want to share an update with all of you. This morning, I submitted a post for myself on the site Artist Beware. However, it was rejected (apparently you can’t submit one for yourself, who knew). But, I want to take the time to share not only that post with you but also an update on things that have been happening in my life over the past year. Even though it wasn’t accepted, I still believe in what I wrote:
I would like to take a moment and write an artist beware about myself, Naffiro.
Through my time of taking commissions, I have made a lot of mistakes, but I want to own up to them and to do right by everyone who has ever commissioned me. To get started, I would like to share my trello with you all, for transparency's sake, here are the people I know to be on my list for certain. The longest waiting commission on this list I estimate to have been there for approximately 4 years. However, I apologize that I don’t have a specific amount of time that I can provide for each because my record keeping in the past was inefficient and subpar. I just know that these commissioners have been waiting a very long time, have had to exercise a tremendous amount of patience with me, and that I belong to be listed here:

Yes, there is a LOT there. I made the mistake of taking on too much, a lot more than I could handle. It was my own bad judgement that brought me here to this point. It was through bad judgement and poor planning that I ended up in the middle of this. And I want to reach out to anyone who has a commission through me right now, and let them know that if they don't see themselves on my trello, you are more than welcome to contact me and be added. The accounts I have previously been under are as follows:
Lazeros - Foxiful - Laseros - Naffiro
While these are separate accounts on Furaffinity, it is one singular account that has gone through changes in name on Deviantart. Deviantart is where I have taken most of my commissions through, followed by Furaffinity. It was also my poor decision to be indecisive about my username. I didn't even think how confusing it could be to a commissioner, and for that, I am so sorry.
I know saying sorry isn't going to cut it. It’s not enough. There must be a clear path forward to completing these commissions. I would also like to acknowledge that I have a friend helping me to see a clear and concise way to move forward, and to them, I can never thank them enough.
My plans are as follows:
So far, I have made contact, and or reached out to everyone I have records of working with. Granted my old record keeping was flawed, and I will own that. However, a friend introduced me to Trello and I’ve filled it out with the information I have and made it public so that people have transparency with the work I’m doing. This friend has also helped me to make a plan, and inspired me to complete my work in a more methodical fashion, I will keep their name out of this in order to keep their privacy.
I remain open to anyone who I may have missed on my trello.
I have set work days, and set off days, so that there is no confusion.
I will first be sketching out everything I owe, in order to get progress to each commissioner and to get through the main step that typically takes me the longest. Once the list is set and sketched, I will move to inking and then colour, shading, effects, backgrounds-- etc This will help me to start knocking out progress for everyone.
I will work hard, and I will not sacrifice quality. Also, I will acknowledge that commissioners have a right to be upset with me. But my hope at this point, is to work with each and every person to get their work completed, and in a much more timely manner than before.
And finally, my future plans, to avoid this sort of thing happening again. First, I won’t take new commissions until my current list is fully completed. I will also limit the amount of commissions I have out at the same time. Probably one at a time at first. I will not be offering commissions that I know I have a hard time finishing in a timely manner, such as ref sheets. And from here on out, I will not take the full amount for a commission up front.
For added motivation to complete a commission, I will be taking half up front, and half upon completion. This will make sure I have not gotten over my head again, my trello tracks what I currently owe, and getting the other half upon completion means I will remain motivated to complete those works in a timely manor.
I am sorry for what I have done, especially to each and every commissioner, and from here on out, I will do nothing but push for improvement so that everyone can be happy, from commissioners now, to me, and to commissioners of the future.

I made some assumptions about the person who was assisting me and some former friends in my last journal that I'd like to apologize for. I made some accusations that they abused me and manipulated me and that was not the case. I've since been helped to understand that I was wrong and I appreciate those who talked me through this. I was wrong, for twisting their words and misrepresenting their actions and my own.
What I said about them was untrue and cruel, and I blew things way out of proportion. I want to thank them for the immeasurable patience that I do not deserve, for trusting me for so long despite the lies, and for the kindness that I took advantage of. I am sorry and was not a good friend and should have talked to them.
This and my statement regarding my Artist Beware will remain, as I'm still dedicated to following the steps I outlined to work through my current list of commissioners. I am dedicated to setting this right.

I am finally taking steps to become a much better artist for you guys, and that means transparency! So I have started a Trello, which can be seen publicly here:

If I owe you a commission, and you do not see yourself on my Trello, then please contact me asap via note here on FA.
Please include the following in it:
* Date you got your commission
* The description of said Commission (s) If there are more than one, just list them each by date ordered.
*Please include EVERY detail you can think of for the commission, this way I get it done right and to your exact specifications. If there is something you want me to finesse, just say artist freedom.
* This is important, ANY and ALL references you have for the commission, that includes anything you may want specifically in your commission, like the picture of the jewel that goes on said character's choker, for example.
Now, I want to apologize for how slow I have been in the past. This is changing now, and set work days have been laid out for me by my friend who is helping me, Fenni wolf. I work Wednesday through thursday on backlogged commissions for as many hours per day that I can handle (I do still have a lot of disabilities, so please bare with me). I work friday and saturday on new commissions. Those commissions taken are to be completed THAT DAY IN STREAM, so as not to add to the backlog. In time with this schedule, I will get everyone's commission out to them asap. Commissions in backlog are being completed from oldest to newest too. So if you have been waiting a long time, please put the date in so you can be moved forward in the que. I know I am only working 4 days a week, but in time, I am hoping to push it to 5 days per week, and above that, I want to train myself to be able to work 8 hours per working day. That is my goal.

I will be moving the files of who I am working on into the "List Of The Day" so you know who is being worked on each day, Each trello card contains goals within them so you can see the progress bar by opening your card. If you have more questions, please feel free to ask me here. But please, if you are posting about an owed commission, please do so in notes, because I will be saving those to a special folder.
