General | Posted 9 years agoSo... I finally got back into this account. lol. Anyway, a few things...
1. I finally got Lotus and I've been taking pictures in her and suiting. I will be posting those soon.
2. Working on a new suit that I want to premier in 2017. I hope everything turns out amazing. ^_^ I'm super excited.
3. I've sold Angel and she is no longer with me. If you see anyone walking around in her, IT'S NOT ME!!! PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THIS!!!
Anyway, that is all. Back to cleaning up this account. ^^

Remodeling Lotus
General | Posted 11 years agoSo I've decided not to throw away my foam Lotus head. I'm going to remodel it to fit Lotus 2.0 specs and have 2 Lotus heads. Yes... I will start my Lotus army... MWU HA HA HA HA *cough* um yeah... Lol. I'll post pics and updates regularly with the progress of both. I've already started ripping her apart but I'll post all that later. ^_^

General | Posted 11 years agoI received my blank a few weeks ago and it looks as wonderful as expected from DVC. I purchased my heat gun this week and it should be here sometime next week. I already have a really good hot glue gun and a billion sticks (you can never have too many in all honesty lol) and now for the list of things that I still need in order to do Lotus 2.0
Note, this is more of a personal list than anything so you don't actually have to read about it if you don't want to. lol

General | Posted 11 years agoI ordered a dragon blank from DVC and it arrived yesterday! ^_^ I'm so excited. It's going to be used for Lotus 2.0 suit. I'm hoping to have it done by MFF but as of right now, still struggling with sewing. -_- I just... IDK... ANYWAY, SQUEEEEEE!!!!!
I'm so happy it's here. ^_^ Now I need eyes, a fan kit (too lazy to make one), a heat gun, and some other stuff... 0_o I should probably start making a list... lol

My suit is staring me in the face and I'm in all honesty looking forward to suiting in it finally. I have a dealer's table so I won't get to suit as much as I'd like to, but damn it all if I don't suit outside the den. lol.

So... Major Updates
General | Posted 12 years agoWell I have made my decision for Lotus 2.0. I am going with Resin. I'm going to use a DVC base to make her come to life. I'm hoping to have her done before ComicCon 2014 but it all depends on how the money's gonna work. She will be made for 2014 that is definitely going to happen though. ^_^
Also, I bought a premade/old OC fursuit from one of my favorite makers. ^_^ I'm almost done paying for it so once I make my last payment, she'll ship it off to me and I will start drawing her and suiting in her. ^_^ I haven't said anything on my main because, well, I wanted it to be a big surprise but I couldn't hold it in anymore so... SURPRISE! lol.
Anyway, her name will be Angel Kawahara and I'll give more details later. @.@ *so excited I could explode* Anywho, I plan to change the hands and feet eventually but that's about it. Bah! I'm going to have her at FWA and I will update more on that the closer the date arrives. ^_^

Resin VS Foam
General | Posted 12 years agoOkay, as I contemplate my Lotus 2.0 suit I'm faced with the ultimate question... Resin base vs Foam base... I want her to be as cute as possible but I don't know how I feel about her being toony. I'm torn between the two. I don't want her to scare little children but like I said, I don't wanna go for all the way toony. I know you can modify the resin heads with foam but idk...
Resin heads I heard are hotter than foam but I plan to have a fan in this bad boy so it kind of won't matter. Also, does resin work on a balaclava? How do you go about hooding it? So many unanswered questions... I'm not quite sure where to go with it. I also want to do movable eyebrows so maybe foam would be best for me? >_< Guess I'll have to do more research.

Megaplex is done and New suit planning

Anyway, I'm in the planning of a new suit. I'm going to go back to the method I used for my Glaceon suit or even try using a resin head. I'm not sure if I really want a resin head as I'm in the dark of how to put it all together but IF I find a good tutorial, I'll be all over it for Lotus 2.0. Plan to have it done for MFF. Gonna spend all October on it and a little bit of the coming months. Probably not much work in August cause I have DragonCon and AWA coming up (gonna be a vendor at AWA. Come see me in AA!). Either way, stay tuned for more fursuit tom foolery. ^_^

New Suit and Next Con
General | Posted 12 years agoWell, I'm tired of folks mistaking Lotus for a horse so I've decided to update her look a bit. That being said, I'm gonna have to "retire" my current partial and make a new suit for her. This is going to be a challenge for me. I am looking forward to it and I'll be posting my progress here.
I will also be attending the upcoming Megaplex con down in Orlando. If you're going, don't be afraid to stop and say "Hi!" I don't bite. Well, unless you ask me nicely.

Back Home and More Sewing to Do
General | Posted 12 years agoWell I'm back from my wonderful weekend with my homie Madshy and while we didn't get as much done as I would have liked, we DEFINITELY had a lot of fun. I have pictures I will be uploading soon. ^_^
After this, you'll probably see mostly WIPs and some finished fursuit pieces. I've redone the eyes on my head and soon, I'll redo the mohawk, the teeth, and the tail on the suit. Still have the bodysuit to work on but I'm not really in a rush to get that done.
I'm also going to get started on my Catalina Fursuit soon. You can check the character out here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10469290/ . Anyway, I'm gonna finish getting these pictures ready for upload. ^_^

Fursuit Foolery Weekend 2013
