though, speaking of this, my life has been rather musically unproductive as of late. i have finished one or two pieces for other purposes, but i haven't really been in the business of completing music. asside from some personal demons and situational barriers, i've been more in the process of exploration; lots of listening to new music and learning to play new instruments.

i'm thinking about producing some more long-form pieces, which are much less spontaneous and much more composition oriented, with a focus on acoustic instruments. i would also *love* to work with other furs on projects, preferibly furs who play instruments i cannot/have no intention of learning... whatever they may be.

i also want to start playing actual *jazz* music again at sessions. i live much more centrally now, and there are a bunch of sessions on my doorstep, so i have no excuse!

i can't think of anything else, so i guess enjoy my album! <3

i've not bee uploading much of anything lately, and that's because i've not really been creating anything. my focus has been instead on keeping myself happy and trying to find time to remember how to play the saxophone properly. hopefully i'll have some new things to share here within the next few months.

over the past month or so i've been feeling really good about my musical direction, and have put out a lot of new music on here. i think i'm going to hold off on putting out any new stuff, at least under my 'naima' moniker, as i will save all my other stuff for an album. i will keep writing and producing pieces until i have a lot of music together and then piece it all together into some kind of bandcamp release.

this won't apply to slowBunny stuff. i'll probably put that stuff upon here cause that's a bit more self indulgent on my part.
