So, I haven't done a journal update in forever...why? Because no one reads these things if ever..but I ran across an extra fine point Sharpie today (one of my fave inking tools!) and I will be doing line work soon...so hopefully, this means I'll be able to put up some cleaner linework that I may be able to use for coloring soon enough!!!

Does anyone have a good idea for a new icon for my account? I mean I can't do the cutesy thing with the flash and movements and so forth, but i need to draw something, I'm just so out of ideas right now.
Also, i'm kind of tired of doing my own art ideas, it seems so cliche to me some how.
So, I think I'll be taking art ideas soon.....sounds like a good idea anyway.

I would like to know what computers are good for me to run art programs on....I don't need anything fancy, but I'd like a computer that has at least the proper running stats and so forth to do so..I've been away for awhile so I am no longer sure what all is the better or at the least decent components to have on such a computer.
I'm looking for either a laptop or a tablet and I'd like to have a decent sized screen, especially with my eyesight being as bad as it is.

Here's to hoping that 2013 is my year to get everything better...I am currently working on getting a job...Once I have a steady flow of income I can do so much more.
I may even be able to officially open up commissions sometime next year hopefully once I have all my or at least most of my equipment all together. That'll be wonderful...
Once I get my own room I'll make a little studio corner in there and be able to draw away!!!

Until then I'll simply keep sketching this and that here and there and scanning it so I can get your critique because I do this for me but sometimes you all see what I missed and a true artist never stops learning, improving, or listening to their audience!

So I have officially updated my watches...if the account had no new submissions for over a month then I promptly skipped it and if it had a link to a new account I gladly clicked there and added. So now that all that hard work is done...I need to inform all my watchers from :nanaku: that I have moved here. Either they add me or they don't.
After that I will begin doing my uploads and hopefully adding some much better art.
Still a traditional artist so please bear with me on some of these things because I have yet to get my own laptop and load the programs needed for me to enhance my work.
For now...I will be bettering my anatomical and coloring skills.
As always my tools include:

Pencils (different softness and hardness for shading, a mechanical .5 #2 lead for the lines)
Colored Pencils (typically Crayola until I can grab some Prisma)
Blank Sheets Of Paper (I don't care what kind, it's usually white and I just use it as my canvas)

Needless to say that's not a lot but I think I'm doing ok with them *shrugs* I'll let you all be the judge of that.

So I went ahead and made the new account ....as you can see.
I will hopefully be posting newer art on here soon....It's time for a new start.
