If you've been missing me for the last few days, it's because I'm away on a trip.

I'm going to go ahead and let you know that once I get back on Tuesday, I'll resume regular streaming! I have a few commissions to get done and I want to make sure you all see some progress! 8)

I'm in need of a new camera.

As some of you know in a couple of weeks I will be making my way to Detroit MI to check out the Woodward Dream Cruise. I will be in that area for 4 days :D (a total of 6, but hubby has to work) after that I will be attending the Baltimore Grand Prix. I never really followed Indy racing until the last year, but I really enjoyed it last year, so this should be awesome! After that we will be going to Walt Disney World in October for a week!! and then...THEN...we will see the arrival of our sweet new baby pup. I want to be able to capture each and every one of these moments. The camera I want costs $650 (Nikon Nikkor J1) of that I have about $550 saved from commissions and a rebate that I got back thanks to Obama-care's Affordable Healthcare Act.

Children of the Night (MLP Animation Project)

A couple of friends of mine  Spiritto and Lionheartcartoon, on Deviantart, have embarked on an insane project. They are telling a beautiful, haunting tale of the First Nightmare Night. The song “Children Of The Night” (commonly known from the Hocus Pocus movie) is an eerie, haunting and yet somehow playful tune by which Luna sets to her shadowy duty.

Thank you guys sincerely from the bottom of my heart for all the shared stories and feelings of sorrow over the passing of my beloved pet. I can't even begin to reply to all of the comments because I start crying and then that's no good, so then I try to start over later and it's just over and over the same feelings haha, so I hope that each of you can accept my thanks here. Nanook was such a huge part of my life and I don't know how I'll ever feel better, but you guys have helped me and for that I'm thankful.

I'm sorry this isn't longer, but I'm getting misty again, so I'll keep it brief.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, my husband and I had to make a very tough decision today. Nanook, my dog, for whom all my online art accounts are named, has passed away today. He was 13 and a half years old. He was 3 when we got him from my Sister and Brother in Law, when my husband and I were newly weds. We were unsure if we could care for such a crazy rambunctious over the top clown faced pup, but from the very first night, we were hooked and didn't look back. My Husband and I don't have kids, so for us, Nanook very much was our child. He means more to us than most people.

Friday after his walk, he just seemed very sluggish. We let him rest, but around 5 am on Saturday, the poor guy couldn't walk. We woke to the sounds of clattering objects he was knocking over. We went to the PET ER nearby where he was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disk Disease) Most small dogs can make a come back from it through expensive surgery, but he was there for the same thing a year ago, only then we didn't know it was that (commonly misdiagnosed as displaysia (SP) and arthritis). We took him home on Saturday and made him comfortable, then we went out to get a bite to eat, since he was still rather sedate and wasn't moving, we assumed he'd be OK. When we got home, he was dragging himself to the kitchen to get his water, but his back legs still weren't moving. It wasn't long after that we realized that he was fully paralyzed from the waist down. He was eating fine, drinking fine, but he couldn't take care of 'business'. He couldn't stand up without toppling over, he couldn't move his rear legs at all. My husband and I talked about it for a long time, as we did not sleep Saturday or Sunday night at all. Nanook cried all night both nights even under the heavy medication for the pain. We went back and forth over options and could not find one that would have a good positive outlook for him that wouldn't A) Bankrupt us or B) Be fair to him.

The decision to let him go wasn't based on money or the hard work it would be to care for him. Those things, he had unconditionally. It was based on how much we love him. It was based on the quality of life he would have. He didn't deserve it...He was a good boy; he was my baby dog, and I miss him and will always miss him. I will never forget him. He had a smile, a genuine look in his eyes and always loved me back. Rest in piece my fuzzy angel; I will see you again some day.

Filly Gari makes a horrible Princess. She only wants to make cookies and use her magic for said cookies. Silly Gari. One day you'll learn. :)

I love this piece, how expressive she is...I mean...who could say anything to a milk mustache that awesome?? Luna's crown is very heavy though, but Gari pulls it off just splendidly! :)
