Then I'm going to work on commissions for Caddie and Foxy
THEN I want to open for some badges hopefully (Pony, Munk, Avengers Cards, Tiny Toons, BDH (Big Damn Heroes)) I've been really wanting to do these. Not sure what would make the Munk Badges special yet, but I'd think of something dang it! LOL.
All badges are in the 4-5inch by 5-6inch size Examples are all over my FA page, too lazy to get references now LOL.

What I've Been Doing Lately
Posted 13 years agoYou guys may be wondering where I've been lately and what's been going on. For once it's not all bad. :)
Last week from Thursday to Sunday I was on a trip to Ocean City, MD for the annual Cruzin' car show. While I was there I made a decision to work on my self image. I realized how overweight I was and how I was unhappy with myself and the way I looked. I'm taking active steps now to change that.
I've just started the Slim Fast Diet on Monday. I know it's Slim Fast...but really it's about the only diet I can stick to. The unfortunate thing is that I am feeling hungry, and I want to eat EVERYTHING...sticking to this plan for any amount of time is going to be hard. I've done it for 2 days and am already down 2lbs. (water weight, I know, but 2lbs is 2lbs) I've also picked up some tea that is supposed to be good for helping metabolism and curbing appetite.
On top of changing the way I eat and drink...(no more coffee and cookies...SO MANY SADS) I figured I'd change the level of activity in my life. Currently with the pedometer program my husband's work has for our Health Insurance, we're taking 7000+ steps a day, however, I want to do more. We're doing aerobics and working out on our elliptical machine.
My work has been really busy lately. I've had to put in tons of overtime the last two weeks and bring work home...x.x. I'm really trying to hire more people, but it's a slow go considering anyone with real estate Title experience got out when the market collapsed...We just don't have the man power to train anyone from the ground up anymore...UGH.
I'm going to make a price list this week for commissions and open up some for the long weekend. I have 3 I need to do though, Foxy and Caddy and Autumn! My brains still work enough to do that :) I am going to /try/ and stream tonight. I'll make a post when I do.
ANYWHO, I need to get to work.
I want to take a quick sec to welcome all of my New Watchers! You guys are awesome! I love all the shouts and comments you guys leave me, I wish I had more time to answer them...:/ I'm trying to be better about that...
OH AND AC UPDATE: I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING AC. I'm sorry, but my work schedule just does not allow for it, that and the rest of my vacation days are already planned out for the rest of the year. I will be making a concerted effort to attend Furthemore next April, and Otakon this year and Baltimore Comic Con, everything is very local for me. :)

SO HAPPY.

I'm going to email back a lot of the inquiries I got recently and then put the notice out there that I'm open again.

I wanna finish my Avengers piece as well.
SO MANY ART THINGS I WANT TO DO.
Sketching is fun, but I'm yearning to do some full pieces, at least color pieces...So I may not be open for just sketches, I'll decide that later today.
Any particular things you'd like to buy from me?

Posted 13 years agoIs how I'm feeling these days.
I'm sitting here, staring at my computer, a blank page in front of me, tablet pen in hand...and nothing...
It's been like this for hours.
I can't stand it when I get like this. My strength is in expression, and when I can't get the expression on the page, it just kills me. It balls me up emotionally. I don't usually have a problem with this, but lately, its like something else is always distracting me from what I should be doing. I want to sit and just let the creativity go, but there is so much in my head.
I feel like I'm letting down those that follow me because I've retreated like I always do, into this shell of a person that I stick out front while I'm mentally away. I'm just so frustrated with myself and how stagnated I've let my life become.
Well now that I've said that...I'll be getting off to bed...more of the same tomorrow I guess.

I'm writing because I'm irritated about something I've seen time and time again on this site but hadn't caught a screengrab of until now. I watch quite a few people who have a rather interesting art style and draw toons as well as adult pieces. Well tonight, I log on, (I have my adult filters ON btws) and see a submission icon of a bondage piece where two naked (human) girls are chained together. Irony of this being about HUMAN PORN aside, I have my filters on, and yet I see porn on my submission icons...
Clicking the icon gives me the "I'm not permitted to see this image" message, but that doesn't solve the problem of why I can see an obscene icon.
I'm blown away time and time again at the things on this site that I see, and how much a valid point like "Hey, I have my adult filters on, I don't want to see your porn/adult art/fetish/artistic nude." gets seen as a call to arms by all the porn junkies AND gets me called a "Prude" at the same time. I just DON'T want to see it. AT ALL.
Is there a rule that when you post fetish/porn/adult pieces that you have to make an icon that doesn't show ANY of the art? Also. Just because you're drawing to practice anatomy (IE artistic nude)...doesn't give you a reason to draw naked creatures and not use the filters.
I'm just saying PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND KITTENS, IF YOU'RE GOING TO POST PORN/NAKED THINGS/FETISH THINGS, PLEASE RESPECT THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT USE THIS SITE AND USE FILTERS AND SOME MODESTY. Kids look at this site for God's sake.
I'm giving myself a gold star for not cussing, not resorting to name calling and editing this piece to take out some colorful remarks about what society thinks of Furries. =)

I've read in the comments about this being a glitch in the site's coding. If this is something so widely known, why isn't a rule that if you mistakenly label something that the artists have to go back and remove the piece all together and reupload it with the appropriate tag?

I'm writing this evening to let you all know I have submitted the donation to Special Olympics. I was able to donate $650 because of the generosity of my friends and artists.
Tomorrow I'll be posting up more of the sketches I've finished, approximately 30 more to go. I can't believe how many of these I've had to do, and how many I've done so far.
I'll be sending out a BIG batch, from the last 3 days, so be on the look out. :)

1. I will be closing these down TONIGHT instead of Wednesday. Due to both the overwhelming response of the community and the number of sketches I have left to do, I cannot take anymore after tonight.

2. HOLY CRAZY-MOTHER-OF-ALL-THAT-IS-HOLY. With all the sketches and donations I have raised nearly $600 for the charity. That is INSANE. That is not only better than last year, but more than I thought I would see in an economy this tight. You guys are all amazing!
3. I'll be streaming soon. I want to have these things kicked out sooner rather than later. I have drawn 50 of them so far, I believe I still have around 60-65 to go.
