This month will be a trial month, I'll be looking at how much I earn till the end of this month and the next. Posted 13 years agoMy dog that replaced my best friend, Zack my other German Sheppard who died in a car accident, ...had to be put down from the suffering he had been in for the last few months...arthritis.
For the first time I saw a dog be put to sleep, I couldn't help be see his life and misery he gave me as a human being. Barked, bite, ran after... he hated me...but I hated him too, still I loved him in my own way and I'll never get him back.
7 years have I endured the suffering he gave me...and for some odd reason...I'll miss him...and I'll never forget him.

R.I.P. Cleo our housecat
Posted 13 years agoLet's just say we had Cleo for many many many years, we never bought him, never adopted him. He came to us and he was the sudden ruler of the house. The thing that made Cleo special was that he liked to act like a dog in many cases, sleep next to the dogs we have, drink from their drinking bowls and often give love bites if touching in an area he doesn't want attention for again.
Other than that, I loved that cat a lot. Found out he died only just 15minutes ago...I feel nothing, like no pain or hurt from his death. Tomorrow I'll be bursting in tears but this morning...today...there is no harm to my heart. Just his death came so suddenly, we didn't know what happened, just found him in the streets. No scratches no force...just lying down. Sometimes you never know, so I never got a chance to say goodbye.

Posted 13 years agoIn the past year I have seen three deaths of furries that touched the hearts of many. I shall not give their names, but know they were special. And I'd cherish the thought of maybe one day all of us will see our beloved friends one day...for those who didn't even deserve to die at a young age...

Posted 14 years agoYES 6 months I've not been here. You know why? Because my internet service provider (ISP!) blocked off furaffinity's database ip called http://d.facdn.net
No-one can or could of helped it, because my ISP did it. The ISP was updated yesterday and all blocks were reset to the fault of theirs. Hopefully it wont block http://d.facdn.net again.

Fighting for my dog's life
Posted 14 years agoI've descided, I'm keeping him alive. He isn't in pain, just struggles to get up the stairs and down the stairs and urinates all over the house. My grandmother came to me and told me that she was going to put him down 10minutes ago.
I said no, he is laying down and not in pain, he is fine, just old and killing him isn't the right choice.
She said to me "It's on your head" but I know how much she will cry when she puts him to sleep, my grandmother never put a dog down before and I vowed to her that I'll clean after the dog.
Felt like crying just now when she said she wants to put him down.
I can't do it...I won't.

My dog is in pain and agony
Posted 14 years agoAnd he has been for quite some time. He is old, I think 14 years now, been in our family since my grandfather passed away in 1997. His name is Alfie and he has arthris in his hind legs, getting really thin and he had cancerious lumps all over his body.
We live in a triple story house on the coast, and he has to walk down steps every day and night and back up again and cries everytime he does so. We put down water proofing on the floors so that his urine doesnt get in the carpet cause he releases before he can get outside.
Now here's the question...should we put him down to save his pain and agony of everyday life...since he is dying very slowly a painfully. Or should be keep him in pain, with love and support till he gets ready to pass away...
If we put him down, it will be for the best, but imagine a part of your family dying...if we don't he will be in more pain than our tears for his death...
What do I do? Because I'm telling my Grandmother not to put him down, and she is listening to me.

Posted 14 years agoYeah its been a long time since I posted something but I'm so lazy to scan it through the scanner hehe... anyway my life is going pretty much very well, I'm ahead of my studies and doing some of the tasks I didn't do in the beginning of this year. The lecturer has given me the choice to continue on print making practice, or just do a lino design to exhibit since I'm the top of my class. YEAY...
Other than that, seeing a new fur in the Eastern Cape this Friday from Uitenhage, going to see how he is like and if I'll be able to see him from time to time. Uitenhage is far but not as far as my other friends compared to where I stay xD so I might be able.

Posted 14 years agoYeah so that means, comic series should start now. Commission will be open soon from the inspirational tease on of my friends in Joburg gave me...to draw her fursona purely out of bic pen and it looked amazing to her apparently.
So all commissions will be done traditionally, shipped to you and sold to you with all costs and charges excluded in shipping. Just gonna have to verify, HOW I'll be doing this and HOW much it costs to ship.

Posted 14 years agoYou have ONE WEEK. To stop your drama and involve me in it when I did NOTHING. I dont want any of your drama, the WHOLE lot of you. ONE WEEK, to show me that you are friends. And dont come crying and saying that I mustn't leave.
I have university friends that don't wage war on each other, have friends for years from high school that are maturer in the aspect of NOT CAUSING DRAMA! So you have ONE WEEK.
One WEEK to kiss and make up over your stupid mistakes you made to each other so your fights can stop!!!

Got a new dog (Update Journal)
Posted 14 years agoHer name is Shadow, she's a black Labrador with a heart of gold I tell you. At this very moment she is trying to get my hand away from the keyboard just to give her some love. Really is a beautiful dog.
Anyway I'm finally back to University tomorrow, Im qualified to be a Fine Artist this year and studying to be a professional sculpturer, at the same time I'm doing painting and print-making.
electrocat has given me an A4 scanner, so soon Ill be making a new comic and hopefully get some commissions up and running.
Its Valentines day tomorrow so Ill be giving all my love to everyone this year with pounces, huggles and kisses. I love you all, even you single ones out there. Feel the love and enjoy your week! ^^

The operation is about $40 000 and he is up to over the goal of $16 500 and if any artists cant to auction to help as well as buy. www.thedealersden.com is the place to be to get some money running for him.
Please donate, even its just a cent, any amount makes it worth the effort of saving another furry. We lost a lot of them already as it is. Donate or pray for him if you are religious.

cat147. Thanks so much guys for your help and how much you made our meet possible and the fun everyone had.
Certainly it came around and now time for the pictures to go up and show everyone how the meet was. Fursuiting, golfing, bbqing, playing guitar, pc laning, lion park, museum and seeing a seal doing awesome tricks.

Posted 15 years agoWell its 13hours left of 2010 now and I just want to thank everyone for such a spectacular and life changing year. I hope everyone is going to have a new year's resolution, because I am. I notice I get road rage, so I'm going to start lossing that attitude till July next year.
2011 will be my year of fine art and I have to work very hard. I have a commission on Chinese Chess sets and pieces and also I'm going to start PAINTING commissions and prints. So soon enough Ill be printing out paintings and making them posters for anyone worldwide - with the help of InkBunny of course.
I'll be submitting all the commissions on FA and the Prints on InkBunny. So as soon as I get started Ill let the word out.
And to all the friends and family out their happy new year. And to the SA furmeet this year, hope to see you all there.
PS I made a song Ill be playing at the furmeet for you all ^^

Posted 15 years agoWell I got my results back, I got a distinction for ALM 77% meaning R1000 is paid off of next year's Fine Art course. And average 60s and 70s for my other subjects.
Well I passed this year and I'm done, no more stress for me for 3 months and time for the new year to begin!
I think I've grown a lot this year, through those I've been with to help me out - I came out of the closet and into a brighter future. I gained most of my friends back from my dramatic growth of maturity but I know I still have a lot to learn. So for those that helped me out this year, thank you, you guys are the best and love you all with all of my heart and all my heart can give.
Anyway I've been thinking since the furmeet is coming up and its becoming a success and Ill gladly see a lot of you here, I'd love to thank all of those that helped me out and worked as a team this year to make the furmeet possible, not only for me but for you guys and the rest of South Africa. Also for all of you that saved up to come to the furmeet this year, well done and I'm proud of you all!

Posted 15 years agoI turn 20, guy faux day. Going on the fine art walkabout tour at uni today and then sushi with my friend and some arcade games. :) Family with lunch sometime this weekend. And today electrocat and other friends will be joining me at karaoke for some good times. Except they going to feed me something called the Nuki Bomb, a drink.
x3 hope I can resist it, I want to see my fireworks tonight hehe. After that Im never drinking again, promise to myself.

My night last night
Posted 15 years agoYeay for karaoke finals. Yeah I got 5th place if anyone of you saw EC's journal this morning. ^^ I don't mind it was all for the fun plus EC got 3RD place! Whoooo! She was happy, needed that on her birthday too before Tony gave her one alcoholic drink xD
Anyway go wish electrocat a happy birthday and some love! She will like that. I won R100 voucher we used to buy some drink for us and have a great time, got a brandy glass and a cooler case ^^ so even 5th place I got some stuff to remember by and we all got matching caps which is epic.
The best part of last night wasn't only the wonder joy and support of my friends, it was because so many good things happened that night. :) Some people knew I changed my attitude in life for the better and I'm starting to enjoy life, be mature and happy for everyone. Another thing is one of the judges even though he was right, I sang Sweet Transvestite as a finalist song wasn't the best choice because of 16+ audience rating, but it was fun and we all enjoyed it... -whispers- gave some culture to children xD naw I don't think they really care about the song.
Anyway the Judge came to me afterwards and told me that I am young and I should use my voice for something bigger than this. He told me I was the best singer he had ever heard at karaoke, but the song that I sang wasn't public worthy. I was going to sing Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran but I messed up my voice earlier and I was scared to sing it. Very awesome of him to say to me that I have great expectations.
My 2nd song was their choice and they gave me It's My Life by Bon Jovi. I never sang that song and couldn't get the high part of it, since I did ruin my voice earlier than that. But the crowd supported me and I did my best ^^. I'm practicing on that song...
I think it has so much meaning. I'm happy to have gotten and won a competition being a top 5. My life has changed and all of you who supported me have my blessings.
I love you all THANK YOU!

Alpha and Omega Review (no spoilers)
Posted 15 years agoAlright being a wolf I had to watch this movie. I shall not give any spoilers out with this review so don't be scare to read it.
I must say Lionsgate studios have really out done themselves in this movie. Within the trailer of this movie, the story unfolds within two wolves: An Alpha and Omega taken by humans to another region to repopulate, but if they don't go back to their pack - the two packs within the region they left would go into war.
Comedy, Adventure, Action and a bit of romance walk into this Animation like a breeze. As I began to watch this movie it began with an interesting twist and progressed to form such a unique and outstanding storyline. I must say the last time I cried at a movie was when I watched Balto...this movie I must say hits the heart - not because I'm a wolf furry but because its heartwarming storyline and very to the point realistic diversity a wolf pack has.
This movie deserves to be watched by all of you. And for the first time, I think I'll buy the dvd as soon as it comes out...I'm watching it again as soon as it hits the cinema.
Ratings:
9/10 storyline, 9/10 music, 7/10 comedy, 10/10 characters

Posted 15 years agoMe and electrocat have been singing in the Karaoke Finals for our city. Well we are both the top 5 finalist singers on board to winning R1000 for top prize. But this is awesome, we are happy enough to say the top 5 singers of the Karaoke are us. ^^
