'Spirit Day!


It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes and at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.


I'm posting this here because I think this stuff is important. I'm sure a lot of you have seen on the news about those who have recently committed suicide over being teased for being gay--they're not even a fraction of those who turn to that as a result. I figured it'd be a good idea to post this here because the furry community is large and generally very accepting of sexualities and I would hope would want to be a part of making Spirit Day happen. So, please wear purple on the 20th! And please repost this message in your journals, too!

Well I was thinking of my comic idea I shared with you guys a while ago and I know I'll have more freetime to practice more art than this year. Since this year its quite stressing with the art theory and all the work. Next year Ill be concertrating on print making, painting, sculpturing and drawing mainly. So within those time Ill be doing a weekly 8 panel comic of a surprise to you guys.

Its a beautiful moderate day outside. I like it :)

Have you ever wanted to maybe achieve everything in life? Show people that you can do anything if you just try and carry on trying? You just felt like the world thought you were useless at everything, but that made you strong and you wanted to prove them wrong?

Much like what Ive been thinking about lately, I want to do everything creative. Everything my grandfather tried to teach me and more. Unfortunately he died at a young age, fatherless and was never taught to be strong and have the courage to grow. No friends to show me that either, I was just Sean to everyone, weird and who would care about him - he would never achieve anything.

But all that pain caused me to change. Ive been doing things I never dreamed of doing, proving to people I am better than them. I guess its the challenge of life. If you think you cant do something, that is bullshit. Believe you can do something and you will reach expectations you never thought you'd reach. That barrier, will be broken and you will be great.

Furaffinity...where furs never die...and live for infinity

I've been thinking about my future and Ive come up with two choices. These choices can change my future dramticly...best is what I need.

1) Cape Town next year - Studying Animation for 2years with an international diploma - New life - Meet new people - Cape Town is officially South Africa's Gay Capital - Take out a student loan to live - work hard - do what I always wanted to do 3D animation.

2) Stay in Port Elizabeth - Home, family and the friends I already have here - Complete my Fine art course in 2 years and get a Ndip for Sculpturing, Painting and Drawing - Ill learn the form and anatomy more in detail - make a name for myself - then go to Cape Town and study 3D animation - 4years of studying.

The one better for my future is number 2. The one better for my life experience is number 1... I'm thinking it through and at the end of the year if Im accepted in both or one of them, Ill go for what I really want to go for...

I like only one thing, the typography of the Browse Search Submit Community and support. But the rest, who designed this I mean its like the antichrist...Hopefully in the future FA will be better designed.

I preferred the previous design, this is going to take more time to get used to.

On the up side, FA is gotten better with ratings and stuffs. New features as well. Everything is spread out and we have more space to view messages and images. So its okay, to me.

But the person who designed this, well done. I just hope next time you could go one foot further and make it Epic. :3

Review time!!! -background thunder-

Right first up is

The Box (Heaven music): Well this movie was a load of huwee, but very interesting. Its about what if you can take a box and give a person a choice to do it and be set for life or to not press the button and the person will leave and no1 gets hurt.

The movie tells us we strive to have perfection in our own lives but not in the lives of others. Instead of giving us a psychological theory to it, we get a man (the ugly half faced guy) to be something supernatural. I'm not here to spoil it for you but its very very very interesting and very confusing too. But it makes you think and it proves an argument. Very fun and good movie that is very well acted but the american Texan accent...uh, not so much enjoyed. (sorry guys but its like tru blood, a little too much 'yall')

Next is

Fantastic Mr Fox: I must say I truly awesome dedicated movie just for us furries don't you think? A very well presented movie, with a lot of humor and a lot of puns -giggles-. It really was very naturalistic in their clay models and their voices fit the scenes and characters quite well.

I must say, I wanted to see this movie for a while and bless my heart this is more than I wanted to see. Very well done, and I'm very impressed.

Yes I am, to have all of you as my friends and my family for helping me out with collage, accomodation and growing me up to what I am today.

There are so many of my friends that care for me and make me feel whole. Thank you for that, for the last few weeks Ive been changing. I feel happier and more full of life than ever before. I wish to help people and love people, protect them and befriend them.

I'm not the one holding friends back ^^ And Im grateful that alot of you saw me through my past self and helped me get where I am today.

I've had an idea because I find myself a very hard person to understand, but I was researching the fact you have inner feelings and motives that people might not be in real life but under their skin is the truth.

I'm going to be submitting my dreams on furaffinity since each night I write down my dreams when I wake up.

I know there are furs on furaffinity that can help read dreams and understand them. That's why I wish to submit it on fa but not on my journals. Maybe on the writing side so that others can read it too.

Maybe then I can get some answers and ideas what they mean.

I do, I hear it in the winds and on the ground. I feel it in my body beating to the sounds of my life.

Music is all around us, like a natural orchestra playing with the moments of our lives.

I cant study, read or talk without hearing a song in my head, my own song classical in its own.
