That's right, it's my birthday, and I'm now the wrong side of 40! I'm 40+(1) But it's just a number, a number a lot of babyfurs can't count to!

Not going to dwell on it, I just want to use this journal entry to give thanks to all my friends who make this old, dusty, sometimes baby, Koala joey a part of their furry lives.

Gem Just love how sweet and funny Gem can be; even burping out fireflies! Kola loves being around Gem and her big brother. I've always loved squinx's artwork and comics, and they've helped me over the years!
Zee-Zee There isn't a picture of Zee-Zee out there which doesn't bring a smile to my face. Despite being older than Zee, Kola does looks up to him as the kind awesome squirrel he is!
Gussy He's such a cute and funny skunky and we do tease each other hehe
Chester Chest's such a great friend, and he is an adorable bunny, so full of beans and very clever like Zee-Zee! His kitty  FelixTom is also totally awesome! Both have helped me with my headspace recently :) I also make sure Chester has plenty of hugs left for Zee-Zee! hehe
David Tiger I really do get big brother vibes with David. Our character's aren't kinned, but Kola loves giving him a cuddle

In the mix for 2026!

Happy New Year everyone. I hope that if you partied last night you're not feeling too rough (even though you have brought it on yourself! xD) Or if you didn't party and chilled or slept at home - I hope you had a good one, and feeling good.

So 2026. The new late 20s... what is store for me? Well, I'm planning on hopefully on meeting up more. I have made so many awesome friends over the last couple of years, and a year won't feel the same without meeting them. So that's what I hope. Yes, I will be attending Confuzzled 2026, but I don't want to it the only time I meet people this year!

Now last year I said I will be doing more stories, but they didn't come into fruition. Well I've run out of excuses. I did one story for one of my friends Zee-Zee, but nothing apart from the odd storyette from commissioned artwork. I hope that will change, as I hope for many things this year.

I wish everyone a joyful, fulfilling New Year, where there is stability at least, or fortunes at best.

Hi Everyone,

Wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a splendid yuletide, and an awesome day today. This is going to be a quiet Christmas for me this year as by choice as I'm spending on my own. It's OK as I'm content with that, but I know many people are out there doing the same, and without choice. If you are feeling lonely today, then my heart is with you.

But I do want to say that seeing other people or knowing others that are enjoying this time of year brings a certain warmth to my heart - I would hate for that to be taken away.

In a couple of days I will be heading back to my old habitat of Essex for a couple of days to meet up with old friends, before heading back to Cornwall for new year.

I got a turkey joint ready for the oven, with some cheap veg and trimmings, so I'm not going without.

First of all, hope everyone's having a Good Friday!

When I first started visiting this site back in the day, it was for looking at all the awesome and adorable babyfur artwork and comics that brilliant artists do. Eventually, in July 2016 I decided to make an account so I could at least follow and keep track of my favourite artists. I never thought I could make a contribution to our community other than watch and I didn't have a clear fursona for myself, so thought I'd use a name I've used previously on other ABDL and art sites where babyfurs show their stuff - hence 'nappy_on'. Didn't know you couldn't change it (despite other sites having that facility).

Fast forward to late 2020, and I developed Kola Koala in my head and started writing about him on my profile page, and I started to feel pretty silly with 'nappy_on' as a username as ABDL and diapers/nappies aren't all what's about me or my OCs. Kola and Pepsi started appearing in pictures in 2021, and felt more uncomfortable with such a username which is displayed on top of my profile!

Now finally, after 9 years since joining, I can at least change my display name to clearly show my page is about my fursona Kola Kola! But of course the username remains nappyon, so I'm not getting completely out of nappies yet! 😳hehe

I have also shaved a lot of my homepage too, and moving a lot of information about Kola and Pepsi on their respective pages.

I've been doing a lot of thinking with my OCs Kola and Pepsi, so sorry for the random journal!

They are very different in their own way in terms of design. Kola is an ordinary run of the mill koala on the outside, but it's when you get to know him you find he would be best friend you wish you could have. Kind, generous in his own way, caring and fun loving. Yes he can be a tease sometimes, but he always lets you tease him back. For many people who know Kola, he has a regressive side which he cannot help, but he is still himself. The 'dull' appearance acts a layer for him. And many of us, we all have our layers which we gradually unpeel as we trust people.

Pepsi on the other hand isn't your run of the mill panda. Pandas are more interesting on the outside compared to koalas, with there cute black and white patterns on their body and face. When I thought of Pepsi I knew she would be cuddly and gentle as a Panda, but there are many Pandas out there, sadly not in the wild, but on TV and other people's OCs. However, I didn't want Pepsi black and white, she is anything but that! I wanted to base Peps on a real pattern, and after searching 'brown panda', I discovered the Qinling species, and I thought perfect!

But, the more I think about those two, the more I think about how are they connected to me. I have layers, and often keep my cards close to my chest. Kola represents the plain side of me. I'm generally unassuming I like to think. Not one to make an exhibition of myself if I can help it. Kola may be plain, but he is a blank canvas for me, and anyone who likes to draw him. He's flexible, he can be almost whatever you want him to be. The more I trust you a friend the more you get to know me. Kola loves seeing happiness in people, even if he doesn't get to share it sometimes, and its the same with me, I like making and seeing people happy. Kola likes to spread smiles whether he's sharing a joke, or doing something silly and I guess it's the same with me! 🐨

Now for Pepsi. As an OC she means a lot to me. With her more interesting appearance, she represents my little creative side, and the side that likes to play. My creative side are my stories and the artwork I commission using my imagination. I'm also quite shy, like Pepsi (her brother is more outgoing unlike me), but I will open when you get to know me. Pepsi will have you wrapped round her little finger if she's comfortable with you. Whereas with me, I'll be the one wrapped round your little finger! I'm very protective of Peps as a character, probably more so than Kola, as he is more intwined with me (he is my fursona after all!) One thing that me and Pepsi have that Kola doesn't is that we try to be sensible, or err on the side of caution, but Pepsi's better at it than I am! 🐼

Both Kola and Pepsi care for each other and their friends. That's what all three of us have in common. I may not often be the first to make contact, but that's the fear of making a nuisance of myself, or if I do ask out of the blue, I fear it's perceived as not genuine that stops me. But know that do care about all my friends, wherever you are. However, I do ask anyone who considers me a friend to please DO be annoying in that sense of care hehe. I'm always happy to chat.

So I'm now beginning my 40th orbit around the star we call The Sun. Oh well they say life now begins here. Despite the milestone, it's been the most ordinary day. Woke up, fed the cats, had coffee, went to work, got home, fed the cats, chilled and now i'm having dinner (though I am treating myself to a takeaway).

However, what makes things special is the friends I have made on my journey through furdom. is a awesome friend to everyone, and he made a picture of me, him and gussy here. I love Zee's drawings, so it's such a special gift. ^^

Plus I want to say thank you to all my friends and friends to be on here ( including Gem/Star, Chester, Nazzy Bat and Zee-Zee of course), and over at 's Toddler Troop on Discord for signing my birfday card.

Hi Everyone,

I know I've been quiet this Christmas, but I had lots going on. I'm still settling into my new home, and I promised a couple of years ago, I'll spend Christmas in Jersey with my brother. That took its toil, as although Jersey is British, being a Crown Dependency, it is not part of the UK, so it might as well be a different country, as I had to get a boat across, and pay for accommodation, and Christmas presents! So big expensive couple of days!

Also, usually I take part in TerinasTiger's stocking stuffer, and make a Christmas story. Unfortunately I didn't have time as stuff needed doing with my new job.

However for 2025, I plan to kickstart my writing again. I got a massive Kola in Space arc to complete, and a few for the other canon, which I hope to include some friends I have written into my stories yet.

Other than stories, I will be coming to Confuzzled in 2025. So I will be seeing some great peeps there, and hang out, though I intend to chill mostly! haha

So I have finally moved into my new house in Newquay. So far touchwood no major problems. The only minor's is that my TV was damaged in the move and the removal men couldn't connect my dishwasher to the waste pipe, and they've appeared to have botched my washing machine connection as it appears to be leaking. So extra bills!

Now the thing that made me loose the most sleep - my cats! Good News, both are still with me, and didn't manage to escape on the journey. Now they have to be house cats for a little while until they have settled. The cattery was awesome, and the cats seemed to have bonded more with other. Until yesterday when they were back to trying murder each other again, so business as usual! But they were cuddling each other this morning. :)

Now, i've still got lots of boxes to unpack, and chase up on of my references, as I got a job to start!

So I've left my job in London after 5 years, and now will be unemployed for the next month or two while I move and have a sabbatical.

So the process has begun. Yesterday I had a 3 hour journey with 2 meowing and howling cats, not wanting to be in their pet carrier. In fairness as someone who usually drives a lot on his own (sorry for carbon neutrality), they were nice company, and if you know the roads in the UK (especially around London), you know a medium or even short journey can take hours!

The good news is, I got the cats to the cattery in Wiltshire. They failed to escape so far. I got them in the car, drove, and got them out and into the cattery. However, I did shed a tear when it was time to leave. The are my babies those moggies, but I know the cattery will take care of them, they have great reviews. This is the one part of this moving process that is loosing me the most sleep, and it's not finished yet! Next Friday, once I've moved, I got to do it all over again, this time from Cornwall to Wiltshire and back again. Get them out of the cattery, and back in the car. The drive will be a little longer and I got to then get them out of the car into the new house.

Now with the unwanted furniture to be be removed, and the packing, this is my last day of rest for a little while! But a proper Cornish Pasty and cream tea next Saturday will be my reward!

I am actually physically moving. Not just house, but to another part of the country, from Essex to Cornwall in the UK.

It has been a long held ambition that I have constantly put on the back burner through my life. But since we sold my dads house, I had to buy a place for myself. Originally I was going to purchase the house I'm renting, but as we had to pay lots of bills whilst we sorting out insurance claims and other stuff, I can no longer afford it.

But with crisis comes opportunity, and I have found a nice little house in Newquay! Not that I plan on buying a surfboard!

This time next week, my cats are going to be driven to a cattery in Wiltshire, which is around half way, so they're not stuck in a car for 6 hours. Dreading the fact that I will be a week without them, and they'll be in a strange place. Also worried about the logistics and opportunities for them to escape as I drop them off and pick them up. Oh well, find out over the next two weeks!

After I'm cat free, I got to clear out old furniture I no longer want which will be collected on Monday 4th, then pack pack pack!

The removal van will be collecting my stuff on the 6th November, and I will journey that day, and stay over night in a hotel, before collecting my keys and moving in on the 7th. Then drive all the back to Wiltshire to collect the cats again (hopefully!)

Despite the distance away from London and Central England, I still intend to keep in contact with my UK friends, and still want to hang out. Even if the drives are longer!

Oh yes and I got a new job too!

The big rubber BANNED stamp (ok it's an exclamation mark) has hit an award winning and inspiring artist on this site. Someone who has done so much for this site as well as their followers and friends. As well as other artists to have been in the community for years, artwork that is SFW and brings us comfort.

So as both physical and mental regression are now apparently a no go here (despite the fact it features in many tv shows and cartoons), people who use this site as a safe haven for their littlefur and creative sides will have to find elsewhere to go and be free. Its also disturbing to me that these moderators are automatically assuming it's a fetish.

Well so far it seems I'm off the hook. As regression mainly features in my stories... I guess the moderators probably can't read!

This banning culture is getting messed up, and I would like to think Dragoneer (RIP) would be appalled by these actions.

Ok, well all my artwork I've commissioned is safely stored away from here, as are my stories. I also got great friends on Telegram and Discord. So if FA want to ban me... Bring it the fuck on!

Do love a bandwagon. Memes that allow people to say what they think of me, popular YCHs, and social media sites. This one of course features the latter.

Lots of my friends have joined babyfur.me, and naturally I followed, so it might have brought down the coolness level a touch or two. I'll probably start moving over there gradually and use xwitter and FA less.

Kola! (I like to think I hear you say) You've said this before with BlueSky! Yes, but this is different. It's purely for babyfurs, diaperfurs, kidfurs, teenfurs (and CGs and allies), and it's 18+. This could be the perfect environment for us to be our furry little selves, without fear of judgement from the lesser understanding.

It's model appears to be based on old facebook, and has got a 00s internet vibe, which is great because it keeps it simple. (Perfect for me!) Sadly, I was never on the old babyfur.me when it was around in the past, as I didn't consider myself a furry until 2020, but was always an ally and furry art lover since being an ABDL.

Hi Guys,

The CFZ 2024 event is now winding down, and I've decided to chill my room for a bit.

So I did have fun, and I did get to know more peeps like the previous couple of years I attended. I knew it would be strange this year, as the people I usually see weren't here, but Krissy, Alfie, Shadow and Fudge were, as was the ever awesome Zee-Zee, with whom I worked with for the PawPets show.

Also, the awesome Chester Bun dropped by for a visit, and he hung out with me, Zee-Zee, Alfie, Krissy and Shadow. Plus many others came to join us, and we formed 'Chester Con'. We had a dealer's den where Chester gave something (still a deal), panels (wooden ones behind us), and we had a couple of biros, so we had a 'PawPens' show! XD It was the highlight of the weekend!

Of course, there was PawPets. The show is now online here at Confuzzled TV. Gem clawed me into kindly asked me to help with the show last year with wrangling props for the puppets, and I just loved the camaraderie, that I volunteered willingly this year! Zee-Zee was awesome as Coney, and I was so happy for him to get the role, as he has a special affination with the character. I also had my first puppet and speaking roles this year. I played the Meenotaur (Minotaur) which is a new character, and I also took over the role of Seb, the French Metrosexual bat. I kept this secret as the bat's appearances are supposed to be a surprise for the audience. This role I found challenging, as Seb and his boyfriend Klaus are very popular characters. I tried to keep my rubbish French accent consistent, and cheesy like 'Allo 'Allo, but was difficult and my throat was dry when performing him. Don't know if I pulled it off, but it was fun to play. I found the Meenotaur easier as I put on a high-pitched voice. The main issue was that the horns the puppet had on kept slipping to the front, so I used the puppet's arms to pull them back, which added to a certain vulnerability to the character. This was all because they fell off back stage and was desperate to find them, which I did just in time, but didn't secure them properly!

After the traditional cock-up (or two... three I counted from my part) the show was still I feel a success, and is a testament to the hard work that goes in, especially from the producer, back stage manager and director. But we all sacrificed evenings, weekends, con time and suffered the stresses that go into the show. Well done everyone!

I also got to meet Skippy-Chipmunk briefly too before the closing ceremony which was cool.

Will I be back next year? Who knows? Will I do PawPets again? Who knows? (If you asked me within 2 hours of the show finishing, I would have said no! haha)

Moving further into the year, I hope to be able to go to FURther South con this autumn. Lots of my friends are going to be there, and hopefully we can all hang out and probably make a nuisance of ourselves! haha.
