As you may have noticed, there has been a lack of streams this week due to one thing or another in my personal life. One of the contributing factors is that recently, I have got a part time job (yay). This however, means I will no longer be able to hold my streams on a monday night, and for that matter, they may be dotted about. If I can, I will try and stream tonight, but I am unsure whether that will happen or not. You'll recieve the usual tweet, journal message etc. informing you if it's on.

Either way, my streams are going to be a little more random & I apologise for not informing you sooner about this. I think I went about 4 days without even switching my computer on c.c;

Anyone who has shown up to my last few streams will have noticed I've been having a lot of technical difficulties thanks to the new installation of Ustream Producer, so much so, that it eats up a lot of time, and it cuts the stream constantly too -.-
So, yesterday, I used  Stampy computer, whilst he got LiveStream up and running on my computer. This is just a heads up that I will be now on there instead of Usteam, a move which I've seen a lot of artists do. You don't need an account to be on the chat, so don't feel like you have to sign up ~ anyway, hopefully my Monday streams will go a bit smoother from now on!

Wow, can't believe this year is nearly up, and I am almost at the end of my challenge!

For those who don't know, I set out to post a picture every day of the year. Which, yes, made me improve faster, but it isn't the easiest thing to do at times.

Anyway, 2012. I am going to continue the streams I do on a monday, and take requests. These will be posted, and I will pick a couple of them to go up on a poll, so you can pick which one a colour. They will pretty much be the only sketches you will get from me; otherwise, I will be aiming to work on more coloured images, and try and improve upon detail and such.

I'll try and not go too long without posting, but I'm trying to be not too strict, but I want some form of schedule so I still have to draw and colour.

Anyway, I wish you all happy holidays, and hopefully you shall enjoy the rest of the pictures I will be uploading!

This year, as you may, or may not have noticed, I have been uploading a picture every single day, and I only have 39 to go o.o;; (Not to freak any of you out, that it's really not that long away from 2012)

Anyway, my suggestion for next year, is for me to stick to coloured pictures. I mean, do people like seeing my sketches? Is that something you guys would want to continue to see, or would you like to see more finished pieces?

The other thing I wanted to ask, is, do you like the polls I have been doing every month? Is that something you guys would like to see continue, or are you happy to just see what I am going to come up with throughout the year?

Let me know what you think. My aim for next year is to improve the quality of my art as a whole. If you guys want to continue seeing sketches, I can still upload them, but not make it as frequent so I can work on them a bit longer.

Right now, I'm having a bit of difficulty getting decent sketches out right now. I'm busy helping out places right now, which is eating up a lot of my time, which is affecting the quality of my work.
Now, what I wanted to say, was that although I will continue my goal of a picture a day, for 2012, that will not be the case. I want to try and work on either better sketches or line art uploaded, or simply full coloured pictures.
As well as this, I am closing for commissions, I have one left to do for Blizzard, and one left to do for LightArcheon, and then I am up-to-date.

The reason this has come about, is I don't like the fact a lot of my art is begginning to look 'meh' in my opinion. I simply don't have the time to add the little details in and make my art stand out more, which isn't a good thing at all. I want to see if I can push myself next year, but without making art a compremise so that I can post a picture every day.

Anyway, this is just an update as to what I plan to do in the near future.

Oh, and don't think that I'm not enjoying the art, it is merely somthing I want to try. Plus, updating everyday is hard!

I'm thinking about hosting a more regulated show for art. This way, I kind of have set days in which I will draw on, and it will help those who have difficulty catching my streams.

However, is that better, or do you guys just like the randomness of my shows? I'm thinking of having them on a Monday, as that is probably the best day for me right now. If I do go ahead with the set idea, I still will tweet, post journals, and I want a picture I can set up and post so that I can get a few more people's attention.

So, what do you guys think? Weeky show, or just go with the flow (like I'm doing now)

Okay, I am going to be holding a stream every single day this week over at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/nashika-drawing whereby I will be taking requests. I'll try and do around 3 pictures every time, depending if I've been busy that day or whichever. I will let you guys know I'm streaming by posting a journal on here, and on Deviant Art. I will also be tweeting about it, so if you want to follow me on there, I'm NashikaArt, and I post it in 3 seperate artbased chatrooms as well.

They'll be round about the same time, starting at 9pm/10pm, which is BST (GMT+1), so hopefully you'll catch me on one of them.

Also, I WILL accept your character requests, it will come more of a first come, first serve, but I cannot guarentee that you're character will be drawn, all I can suggest is, show up fairly early if you can.
