Well, don't worry too much - I didn't actually go anywhere. You can still see most of my stuff in other places. And I didn't just up and abandon FA knowingly.
The simple truth is, I kind of kept forgetting about posting here, especially since most of my stuff isn't actually strictly furry.

Restating the rules from last time - Commission slots are NOT first come, first serve. I will be picking from what approaches I get, so please make sure to be descriptive and provide plenty of references for what you were hoping for, preferably in the first message to avoid any "Can I have a commision" and me having to wait after sending you a "Yes, tell me what you have in mind". Just let me know right away!
I am headed out for this weekend, so responses may be sporadic, but I figured I might as well give myself some approaches to go through when I get back. Since a few of them were decently simple single-character pieces, I made a slightly longer queue this time to accomodate you all. But again, I will NOT be taking more Commissions until I have worked through this queue.
Those of you who have contacted me know if you have been picked - and some of you who I am still awaiting response on a few clarifications from, you are on the list as well.

The arm is still not exactly 100% recovered, but I am at least at a place where I can sit and draw comfortably for a bit again. And thus, I have finally finished my current commission queue!

Prepare for a bit of a textwall, guys. But please, do read it.
Yeah, hi, remember me? I'm the guy who used to take commissions, and spent the last several months declining all approaches for any, and telling you that "I would open them again soon", yet has still been posting a fair few drawings for a while now.
Well, "soon" finally came, but I am going to do a few things a little bit differently going forward, and I feel like I owe you guys a few explanations.

WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG?

While I realize what I am about to say is gonna sound like a luxury problem, I got a LOT of commission requests for a while. And that's great! That you guys are so eager and interested is fantastic.
However, I have been entirely too nice about accepting too many commissions at once, or simply "adding someone to the back of the line" whenever I finally finished my queue, and it ended up utterly draining my motivation and my sanity. As a result of this, some of you (and you know who you are) ended up having to wait for absolutely absurd lengths of time to see as much as a sketch, much less a finished product.
And don't get me wrong - most of you have been incredibly patient, kind and understanding when I explained my reasons to you in private, and I appreciate that a lot. But that doesn't mean I am particularly happy with my own performance. While I have never promised to have the fastest of turnarounds (and I likely never will) and I don't do this as a main source of income but rather something on the side, it got to a really stupid level and I just needed to recharge.
So basically - these last few months I have just had a "summer break" and slowly been getting my groove back.

SO WHAT CHANGES FROM HERE?

Now, to try and make sure I don't end up in that same situation again, I will start doing things a little bit differently, and so here are a few notes on how things will be going forward.
- MY PRICES ARE GOING (SLIGHTLY) UP
Times are tough out there, and I need my time compensated like everyone else.. I've been rather on the cheap end for a while, and while I don't intend to rob you at broad daylight here, I have gotten enough followers and interested takers to raise them a bit.
It's not a HUGE increase (approximately 16% or so), but just be aware.
- I WILL HAVE A MUCH STRICTER QUEUE
Like I said, I have been way too nice about accepting just about any commission and just "squeezing them in" between others or popping them at the end, resulting in there just never being an end to it. This clearly doesn't work. So from now on, I will only be accepting a select few at a time, lock the applications, and not open them again till I finish. And because of this...
To make sure people can SEE I am currently working, I am thinking I will also actually have a queue status on my profile. Let me know if you think this is a good idea.
- I WILL BE MORE SELECTIVE
The last thing I want is to seem judgy to those who approach me, and I am genuinely usually up to draw a little bit of everything, hence why I sort of went with a "first come, first serve" approach. But from here on out, I am going to be picking and choosing a bit more, and demanding a bit more clarification from you before I start - I have had a few too many cases of ending up having to redraw a sketch from scratch due to unclear instructions or just not stating certain things they wanted before I had already done about half the work, and it just takes too much time. So please, be as descriptive and as clear as possible so we can (hopefully) nail it in one.
This doesn't mean that if I decline you, I am judging whatever you were asking for. It just means that I chose something else, or that my queue was full. You can always try me again the next time I open a queue.
- THE PROCESS WILL STILL BE THE SAME
I will still be willing to draw a sketch in advance before payment, I will still be willing to discuss payment plans in the case of bigger orders, and all of that. I want to be approachable and easy to work with. But like I said above - I do ask for you to help me out a bit to make the process smoother.

I want to apologize for that -b ut basically, as of late, I have just been bouncing back and forth between periods of burnout and having lots of other shit to do.
I have not forgotten a single one of you and I WILL get to you - but I am sorry about the long, long, long wait. Anyone who wants to pull out after waiting for so long can do so and I assure you there will be no judgment. It's on me.

Usually when I post a commission piece, I get a few people asking for one right away, which is wonderful - but I am gonna take a liiittle bit of not accepting any. I got a little too nice about just adding one more to the end of the queue.
So please hold off a bit till I post a journal asking for it, alright? Which, honestly, might not be that long, heh.
You might see me posting a lil bit of a commission dump - I've been working my way through a queue I let build up.

2000 Follower POKÉMON Character Poll!

So it would appear that I have managed to get 2000 followers on FurAffinity. That's amazing, thank you. I thought of some way to mark the occasion, and an idea came to me. Some of you may remember back when I occasionally made polls about which characters to draw lewd art of. Well, for all the franchises I draw, I realized there was one big one I have done frighteningly little work of - POKÉMON!
So I have now made two polls of both 35 HUMANS and 35 ACTUAL POKÉMON for me to make lewd art of - and YOU get to help pick one from each list for me to draw!
Some of them are the popular choices, others are a bit more unusual (and there are no Legends: Arceus characters because I haven't played very far yet) - but in total that makes SEVENTY characters where only two will get drawn eventually. Well, for now anyway.
