Heya folks, wrapped up a lot of stuff this year...lots of HUGE projects I've been apart of now. Lots of stuff I still want to do before the year is over! I've got work currently scheduled for mid February so I'm fairly open until then and so far I plan to keep it that way. I really want to squeeze in some traveling and catch up with folks I haven't seen in a while! Maybe brush up and update my portfolio.

BLFC 2019!
Been in a bit of a funk after BLFC....not sure if it's PCD. I saw so many incredible suits this year and it made me miss working on my own. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to bring my homemade bee suit!!!!! Especially splinterfoxproductions !!!
Super last minute I made a bunch of adjustments and additions to my bee and dragon suits - The bee head was not sitting properly on the white neck fluff, so I fixed that along with the arm strings, foot pads, hair, and made brand new (and much lighter) antennas that can now be removed after use! I whipped up some fluffy black dragon arms so she looks a tad more complete with her paws - ALL DAY BEFORE CON!!!! Stayed up too late. The 6 hour drive to Reno was a trek, but I was in good company with bigBonus It was so fun driving through WINDY HELL and seeing all sorts of weird shit. We almost saw a truck tip over in front of us (he got a video!) and miles ahead a truck did tip over on the other side of the road from all the wind.

It was his very first fur con and I wanted him to have the *FULL EXPERIENCE* of trying it out in suit, so I let him borrow Chiclet! And I think he had a blast~ WOO! We mostly danced and partied and went to the 1st floor parties and
I was not expecting such positive comments...or really any comments! Usually my friends are getting all the attention with their magnificent suits! And I was not prepared! I am so bad at taking complements in person lmao so in suit its like a whole new level of overwhelming in a good way. I just kept saying "uhh thank you! I made it!" I met some other creators who gave me some really great/helpful tips for improvement! Wish I could remember who they were. One of them was this very nice, tall, bull-man. I really liked his design and wish I remembered to ask him for a pic but we were in the headless area (no pics allowed!). Anyway, if you're out there bull-man, I will be taking your advice and making adjustments to my 2nd set of arms!
Anyway, yeah, I really really appreciated all of it. Gave me a lot of confidence in my crafting and motivation to keep trying.

Refund for Onsen
So....with my current work contract going over schedule and not really knowing an end date for it at this time, I went ahead and fully refunded everyone's slots for the Onsen piece. Sorry everyone! I appreciate your interest and patience and I know you've been waiting so long. So sorry I can't work on it at this time and I feel so guilty for keeping everyone on stand by. My day job needs my full focus and gets very difficult to squeeze in personal creative work. When I'm back, I'll do some more art and fun stuff. <3 For now, I still have 2 commissions to finish up and will focus on getting those done as soon as possible.
Thank you to everyone who has been so patient! I know I'm not on FA much these days, but I haven't forgotten.

Sorry for taking so long getting through commissions - work came up and has been coming at me hard. I've been chipping away at them slowly! I have not taken on any more commissions and don't plan to until I've completed these. I haven't been home much and the last couple weeks we had some people visiting, so it was a lot harder to find some privacy to draw. I am just about done with one that involves tentacles. Just wanna make sure it's looking it's best before I show it off!
BLFC is coming up fast and hope to see some of you there! I've been having a ton of back pain and I'm hoping the drive to Reno won't make it worse, but I am DREADING being trapped in a car for hours. It started really aching after I saw Avengers: Endgame and just hasn't let up. Might take a trip to see a doctor when I get back from traveling.

....I would call it an outstanding success! Especially for it's first year. Tons of fun!

Apologies for anyone waiting on commissions/updates. Things have been slow. A few days ago I got a sore muscle in my back or shoulder or neck...I don't know where its stemming from. It's effecting my drawing arm quite a bit and I can't lift my arm up past a certain point without shooting pains. Lifting anything, even my cup of coffee, is also painful. I'm sure I'll be fine in a few days! I'm doing some drawing on the ipad in short bursts just so I can keep on the queue.
YCHs are going to slow down since work is talking about bringing me on again. Won't happen for another few weeks, so I'm sticking around FA.

Last year I got REALLY into building fursuits and learning how to sew. It helped me get out of a dark place, gave me confidence in my abilities, and I met a lot of great, helpful folks along the way. It's all so fun! I want to do more of that. Even if I'm bad at it right now, I'll get better!
Speaking of, I should really upload some pics from the last project. I don't post that sort of thing here, but on my SFW stuff ~ I made a BEE! Designed by the awesome Which is now my 2nd fursuit project, but first fullsuit. I had some super help from who showed me stuff on the sewing machine and fixed a big issue with the main body piece...Because I did not understand that you're supposed to be near-naked while making a DTD......and I wore pants..... Big mistake. Never again. But whatever, I have a few ideas and some plans for the next one! Here's the pending plans:
- A cheeseburger turtle hybrid, building his shell like a giant backpack. Good as a pack-mule at cons. Would be very easy to carry around water bottles, con swag, props, snacks, yada yada yada
- Some sort of dog partial to sell. Always something funky I just cant settle on what.
- A cute as heck but still somewhat spooky werewolf, round 2!
- Skeletor. Why? Because.
- Banjo and/or Kazooie, I can't decide which one to build first. Maybe Banjo cuz I have a better idea of how to put him together. I am probably not skilled/fast enough to do these yet.
- A dinosaur, designed with similar shapes as Rex from We're Back or maybe something more hyper realistic

Some more pics of bee - that's also a character account. It's not very exciting aside from the stuff I already linked. Ultimately I think it's alright for my 2nd go at it? There were some malfunctions. One of my arms broke and a wing fell off, so she's in the shop! I wasn't happy with the antennae either and gave those the snip. I want to make them sleeker and more manageable. Anyway!

I've been seeing a ton of artists using KoFi and thought I'd give it a go. I gave Patreon a try for a while but something about it didn't sit right with me. I think it made me feel obligated to try to do more when I should have kept it simple and focused on my work. It was also supposed to be a team effort but ended up being more on me in the end...but KoFi seems like a simple approach to a digital tip jar. I've been out of the porn art game for a while. I think I got burnt out on drawing other people's dirty stuff. (._.') When I get back to it I'd like to focus more on stuff that I personally enjoy and want to draw so it doesn't happen again. Some of ya'll were giving me nightmares (I won't name names) and it was hindering my sex drive quite a bit.

I'm fine now. I really did enjoy commissions for a very long time. They are both fun and challenging and I like a good challenge. Sometimes maybe a bit too challenging but I'd do it anyway. It has certainly strengthened me as an artist.
To the nice folks who would keep coming back for lil' ol me, ya made it worth it and I am so grateful for the support - I know who you are. You got me through a lot of hard times, helping me build a little emergency fund for when I landed in the ER (doctors are absolute thieves) and made it possible to go to such things as Fur Cons. It's really opened my eyes and given me a lot of confidence that I never had before. Thank you for that. Seriously. Thank you.

I don't know why I'm writing all this out like it's some funeral. I'm not going anywhere. I doubt many people are going to see this either. I just feel....ungrateful. I had hit a creative wall and couldn't draw anything, even doodles, for months...but I feel like the spark is coming back to me. So maybe it is like a funeral? Like...my creative funeral of 2018 is coming back like a phoenix for 2019. Now more ready than ever to learn 3D, and try my hand at game making. I feel like I owe it to you guys and I never express how thankful I am for the support. Sorry, that's a really shit thing to do. I want to be better.

JURY DUTY - I got selected for jury duty last week on monday and had to report in court yesterday (2/8) that's been fun. 9_9'
Good news is I don't have to report back in until Teusday (WOOO!) bad news is that this really throws a wrench into everything.
FRENS VISITING - my good pal came into LA for a visit. Was really great seeing him and bum around the city havin' fun!! >:D Also finally had a chance to have lunch with who has recently become my neighbor.
SOFTCO COMPLETION- I finished my first fur head project! I think he turned out well, and much better than I thought for my first project like this. I had plenty of help and support along the way and could not have done any of it without my friends! My friend who received it was very surprised.
