I'm helping out once again with STC:Reillustrated!
We're looking for 48 artists to come together and draw 1 panel each from a strip from Sonic the Comic! This time we're actually doing two in one - the first appearance of Shortfuse the Cybernik!

Hey folks! The public voting for the Game Jam I took part in has finally ended and I have been able to make an update to my game, Excession! It has a lot of the bug ironed out of it, the soundtrack has been touched up, some quests and dialogue have been made clearer and some touch screen controls have been added (This was intended so that you could play it more easily on mobile devices, but it seems that the sound doesn't work on mobile anyway so what a waste of time that was!)

Really though, I think you'll enjoy this - Every single asset in the game (bar three, cough) is hand drawn by me! All of them are pencil sketches, coloured digitally - it really gives it a vibe. Let me know what you think!

Did you know that I entered a Game Jam a little while ago? It felt important to do so because 1) I've always wanted to take part in a Game Jam, and 2) I am burnt out as helllll. The change of pace has been very refreshing.
HOWEVER.
The deadline is approaching and suddenly it feels like its ludicrously generous time frame maybe isn't so much time after all :') So I am busting my ass to get the art assets finished for this thing. I've put my other responsibilities on hold for a little bit while I race to the finish but I'll have something pretty cool to share with you when it's done.

Here's a little info about it!
It's called Excession, and it's a solo project for RPG Makers 'Beyond Expectations' Game Jam. It's a little bit like Dark Souls meets Disco Elysium (on a game jam time frame) and features fully hand drawn backgrounds, characters and portraits. One thing I can promise you about this game is that it will look amazing~
You'll be able to play it on itch.oi once its done (in about a week, possibly even in browser but I can't promise that part)

The deadline for the form is TODAY, so grab one while you can! :D I'll be returning to regular commissions next month, so I want to get as many of these in as I can >:3

The new comic has begun at last!
I've been cooking this one up for more than an entire year, so this is a big moment. I hope you will come to love Shai and this new cast of characters as much as you have loved Seph, Dom, Sarah, Gem and all the others!

I've been working on the buffer for the next comic in the meantime - things are going well! I've gotten the Front/Back cover, the chapter 1 title card and the first 4 pages done already. I'm excited to show you all ^^

Lots of interesting responses to the 'On Model' thing from the other day! To be clear, I'm probably not going to change my behaviour either way, but it was something I was interested in other peoples opinion of.

It's a skill I admire, for sure - growing up I loved Richard Elsons art in Sonic the Comic, and their consistency was one of the great things that drew me to them. But I also really love Adventure Time, which has a wonderful disregard for the entire notion. After all, if a character looks like someone else because their nose is longer, you are probably working with a weak character design. You can be much more expressive if you aren't beholden to that sort of thing. But I love the skill that goes into this craft! And consistency is one of the great expressions of that skill.

Making comics is very hard, and comic pages are about communicating - part of communicating is making some information more important than others, so if every comic panel demands your focus and attention it can actually look worse! (on top of rotting your drawing hand into a withered stump). So I'll probably keep going as I always have when making my own comics - making things look as good as I can.... when the effort is worth the payoff.

And besides, a running theme from peoples responses was that no one really noticed when I went off model, so I must be doing something right XD

As I work through this new comic, thumbnails of characters, and thier faces in particular, never stay quite consistent. The lengths of muzzles, the size of ears - stuff like that. You'll probobly have noticed this in Seph & Dom as well, often on the very same page. The urge then is to painstakingly attempt to get everyone looking 'on model', but how important is this, really? To you, I mean. What is your take on this?

Back to bussiness at last!
It's been a very difficult 8-10 months, let me tell you. But We're through it all now and this comic is finally ready to start production - it even has a name:

It'll take me another month or so while I build up a starting buffer, but I also intend to return to more regular (and sustainable) commission work in October alongside it.
If you've tried to contact me for any reason the past year, I've probobly been quite difficult to get a hold of. I'll be getting back to a few long standing messages this week but if you still dont hear from me then consider your message lost and feel free to reach out again.

I also feel a cold coming on, which is just typical, so this pheonix-like rebirth may be delayed yet further, but it will not hold me back for long. Watch this space!

Alright, I wasn't actually absent, I've just had nothing to show for it. It has been a hard few months of working constantly - I basically havn't slowed down since November of last year x.x I have been very burnt out, and it has been capped off by me spending 7 days locked in my bedroom with Covid (I'm fine now).

I still have a lot still on my to-do list, but I feel like I've reached an important summit on this long trek, and from here I should be able to advance more sensibly. I have queued up a whopping 44 images for upload, which will give a new image for you all every single weekday until mid september! I intend to take the rest of this month relativly easy, maybe working on some side projects, and then after that I'm going to be working on the thumbnails for the next big comic - I've not been able to touch them in two months almost!

Thankyou all for sticking around and leaving me nice messages, I read every one and really apriciate them <3 I hope you are all staying strong in these dark times.

I've been pretty quiet at this end, but my legs have been padeling furiously below the waterline. The past few months have been dedicated to getting this next comic off the ground - I have managed to complete the script, after many revisions, and last week I made a start on thumbnailing! I'm 21 pages into that so far (out of about 136), so it may be a few months yet before it's time to start on finished pages, especially once I return to commission work at the same time. It's going to be awesome, though! I think you'll really like this one ^^ It doesn't have a name yet, though... watch this space~

Speaking of commissions, I'll be opening for those pretty soon.
At the start of May I'll open the commission form and accept submissions - I'll also be opening again, online and in person, when I attend confuzzled at the end of May! I hope I see some of you there ^^

I hope you liked that recent picture I did of myself 👀 A lot of you took part and I really apiciate that. That'll be a long term, slow moving project, and I'll probobly be quite picky, but i hope you like the outcomes~ (especially the lucky bunch getting railed, h'yuk).

I was really worried for a while - a lot of the articles on how a campaign should be going pretty much wrote this one off as a failure weeks ago, but you all came through and now the book will be getting printed!

There are is still 22 hours at time for writing this to pledge or upgrade for some of the extra goodies if you want them - The mini comic epilogue has gone down particularly well, and there are reprints of previous comics, commissions and, of course, the prints.

I should mention that there are also stretch goals! It might be a bit ambitious to attract an extra £1000 in so short a space of time, but hey - if you do there will hardback copies available!

But, again, thank you all so much for helping this reach it's target - I can't wait to get this book into your hands ^^

The starter gun has fired and we now have until the 20th of December to cover the costs of printing. If you have enjoyed this comic, why not treat yourself or a friend to a hard copy? ;D The book will be printed in hefty A4 format (Thats 8.3x11.7 inches, for the Americans in the audience!) and will be 244 pages long! You can also get a hold of some other goodies in the upper tiers, like prints and art classes!

I've been away the past seven days due to an important person entering the end of their life. We're not through it yet, but for now I am back at my computer - this is just the reason uploads have been patchy and why I may have been more difficult to contact than usual.

My commissions opening up was muddied by this well - a lot of people missed the announcement or thought I'd filled up already. I still have most of my slots free, so I'm going to keep the form open for another few days before closing.

Hey there, furries~

A couple of things! First of all, and some of you may have noticed this alread already, I have restructured the folders in my gallery!
You are now able to browse by Image Type, Character and Fetish! Finally - a button that will just show you pictures of ME! If you have any category suggestions you think might improve this further then suggest away.

Secondly, I have relettered the first 70 or so pages of Seph and Dom: The Return! The hand lettering from the early days, before I made my own font, was quite rough - you should be able to read the whole thing much more clearly now.

Thats everything for now! I'm hard at work at the moment writing and thumbnailing the comics that will be coming after Seph and Dom is finished. It's hard work, and there's a lot of it, so it'll be a little while until I have anything to show you. I can't wait until I can, though! In the meantime, I hope your enjoying the final chapter of Seph and Dom!
