Hey folks! It's been a while!

I've been beavering away, getting my schedule clear for my next wave of projects~ That moment has finaly arived ^^

So how about Gem and Sarah, huh!? I really liked how it turned out ^^ I'm going to be formatting it for printing sometime in the near future and when its ready I'll be launching a Kickstarter to cover the printing costs - you'll be able to reserve yourself a copy that way when the time comes!

You may have noticed that the first page of a new comic is up - Ace and Umi's Magic Show! it's another many-paged Vore comic and, if your into that, I think you'll really like it ^^

Now that my schedule is clear I'll be starting work on the script for Seph and Dom 2 - I'm rather looking forward to it ^^ I also have a few side projects I've been working on in free moments - One of them is a 16 page Werewolf Comic inspired by Lycan (made by the amazing Rachez) and another is a reboot of my old webcomic, Darastrix! These will be a bit slower in the making for now but you can look forward to seeing some cool SFW stuff in the future ^^

I've just undergone a big revamp of my Patreon page, including new Tiers! One of them addresses my chronic problem of being difficult to Commission and another offers a new Print Delivery service! Each month you recive a new A5 Print from me in the mail! :D

Hey all!
I'm all moved into my new house, the internet is up and running and a particuarly awful spell of illness has left us at last. I can finally get back to work~
First of all that will mean Gem and Sarah is back up and running - hurrah! Second I shall be opening for slots for a big vore comics run by Ace and Umi - that will be fun >:D

Theres going to be a change to the daily upload comics and thats simply that they will only be on weekdays from now on. This is save myself from burning out and also because weekends are tricky to upload on time for anyway. FA may continue to get weekend uploads until it catches up with Patreon though, since its more than just a week behind at the moment.

I've been moving house lately and things have been pretty hectic. I've not been able to get much work done during this time and it doesn't look like this will change until after new year. I'm also going to be without internet all together for a few weeks after the 20th so it might be best to just put things formally on hold until after all the chaos instead of struggling to provide patchy service.

Also, I'm kind of burnt out, to be honest :') Need a rest. Have a happy festive period, everyone and see you all in the new year! :D

Hey everyone! Got a bit of news for you all!

But first; I'm just back from a busy week attending a wedding, having a broken down car and attending Scotiacon! This was mostly a lovely time ^^ It's also why the comic hasn't been updating for a week :') You can expect double uploads for a little while.

The news is that I am making a big push to expand my online presence~ This will include new accounts on other websites and a an effort to talk to you guys more in the comments. I read all of them but I usually get nervous replying to anything :')

Hey all! Gem and Sarah will be resuming upload today~
I've been feeling very down about the whole process and loosing confidence in it. A number of factors were leading to it not getting the traction I was hoping for. But I think the answer is to muddle through it.

When I'm making porn comics, I think of them like action movies, where the action is sex. A good action movie keeps the action front and centre and all plot serves to propel the action forward, give the action context and generally to improve the action. Where possible, the plot should even be told -through- the action.
Most Action films will hit the ground running by opening with an action packed set piece that establishes character, sets the scene and gets the blood pumping. This is what I was going for in the present Gem and Sarah comic and with Seph and Dom.
But I fear I have misjudged. Comics are not movies and different things matter. In this case its the stakes. This scene currently has none - we don't even know the characters yet. I think its a pretty hot scene and despite criticism I don't think its (necessarily) overlong, but without context I fear it has come across as boring - the worst possible outcome. Seph and Dom may have opened in a similar way, but its opening sex scene was actually pretty short - only a few panels any then the main stakes of the plot were established.
When I started making these long comics it was with an intention to unfold the action at a leisurely pace, lingering on facial expression, taking my time to enjoy the sex scenes from different angles and showing the elapsing of time. This isn't something I want to compromise. Never the less, I may have to tighten things up here and there and make sure the plot and action are both moving along together so that each keeps the other interesting.

Despite this rocky start most of you who are pledging on Patreon have stuck with me and that means the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart <3 Here's to continued improvement.

I've finally gotten through my backlog of Confuzzled Commissions - you've probobly seen the first half of them uploading recently :D

Confuzzled was alot of fun! I had only half a meltdown this year (I saved those to enjoy at home :'D)
Really though, this year I felt like I spent more quality time with people and enjoyed thier company. Of course, I still missed a bunch of people but we can't win 'em all. I've taken a bunch of commissions also, and its time to hunker down and get those finished!
I feel I am at the far end of the parabola, hanging weightlessly before the steep plunge. The convention and the time building up to it was obviously a very busy time, and once these commissions are done I am going to be very busy again working on my next big comic, someone elses big comic and some elses agains big comic. Thats alot of big comics! Fingers crossed I don't blow a fuse and fall behind schedule.

Woof, that was a journey :'D Only got a short nap on the flight. I'm back in Scotland now, though - in time for some sleep and then my shift at work...

But my time in Korea itself? It was fantastic :D
My partner still had to work during the week so out main excursions were only at the weekend. We visited a Seoul a few times, seen a few of the museums there, went around Insa-dong, the area around City Hall and Hongdae. Gangnam, as well a few times but only to get off a bus and into the subway.

We also visited Andong, the 'spiritual heart' of Korea. That was an adventure and a half :'D We left from Dongtan really early to get there and went to visit Hahoe folk village. We walked around the mask museum, which was very interesting, seen a few hanoks and though "huh, I guess we'll go somewhere else now?". Then While looking for where to get the bus we descovered we had to get a shuttle bus to see the actual vllage :') we almost left without seeing what we came for! The village was really stunning; it's a global heritage site and is preserved in its origonal glory. We spent a while looking around and we're about to leave again when a guy asked us if we were going to see the mask dance? Hell yeah, I'm up for that! I loved it - it wasn't lke anything I'd seen before. Despite not speaking Korean, you could follow what was going on quite. I was surprised as well how life-like the masks seemed when they were actually being worn by the performers.
Then things started to get off the rails. We felt we had time to see one more place before the last bus to Andong left, so we went to the buddsist temple... but we got mixed up and ended up at a Confusian Academy. This was fine; we looked around and enjoyed ourselves, then went to wait for the bus back to the bus station... for 40 minutes. It wasn't comming :') We then had to run 4km up a hill and down the other side back to Hahoe village, racing against the sun to catch the bus from there. It was a very stresful hike and subsiquent wait. In the end we got back in time for the very last bus home.
So, we only got to visit one site in Andong; not even the town itself, but it was still one of my favorite things we did together ^^ I would recomend it to anyone (just plan ahead better than we did)

The food in Korea is THE BEST. Thier own food is good, and thier version of western food is great too - Korean pizza is amazing. Thier snacks arn't quite to my taste though (except for honey flavoured crisps; so good)
I am going to miss Kimbap.

Korea is very, very cold in the winter. It's the first time I felt the need to put on a hat or scarf.

Dongtan is quite impressive. All the buildings are very tall, the roads wide, the public spaces well maintained and clean (they have gym equipment out for anyone to use for free!). Theres an element of gentrification I think based on how I was told rented accomidation works. You pay a really high deposit, called keymoney; something in the region of $5000 - $10,000, but you get it back when you move like a regular deposit. The idea is the landlord will invest this money and keep the interest - meanwhile you don't have to pay any rent! just bills and stuff. One the one hand this is pretty great; you're not pouring all your money into someone elses pocket all the time. But on the other hand you need to be pretty financially secure to move out from your parents. I don't know what Korean social housing is like but I hope it counter ballances that fact.

Korea public transport is really good and very cheap.

I'm sure theres loads more I could say but this is enough for now. Hope your all doing well!

I'm heading to Korea for three weeks to visit my parter, who has been teaching English there for a year! I'm really looking forward to seeing them, but the trip itself is daunting. Plus, they can't meet me at the airport because they're working so I have to get to thier flat by myself :'D
Did I mention I can't read Hangul or speak Korean?
I'll still be working on drawing during weekdays while I'm away, but expect an interuption of service during the days I'm traveling~

I had a good time, although I missed my dearly beloved, who is still teaching in Korea ;-; And my puppy, Bmo - he had to stay at thier parents house because I was working and my own parents dog does't get on with others.
I forgot to bring the harddrive that has all my artwork on it with me to my parents, too, so I've missed several days of Seph and Dom uploads :') But worry not! I shall be uploading two per day for a little while until we're all caught up again.

Finally - it looks like I have a taker for the Mega Comic Slot :3c I shall announce more on the subject once we've shaken hands on the deal, so to speak.

Heres the deal:
Each block is 100 panels - you can buy multiple blocks if you choose.
Examples of previous comics like this are Under Control and Seph & Dom.
Rather than pricing everything frame by frame like a regular commission, each block has a flat price of £2500.
This can be paid in installments.
This allows much greater felxibility and allows for scenes to have breathing space instead of cramming as much in to each one as possible (or omitting characters from frames to keep costs down).
The initial to and fro of getting the script worked out and getting the sketches done can be expected to take 2 months. From that point you can expect a finished panel for uploading every single day.
You would also recive a complimentary front cover.
For reference; the entirity of Under Control took place in 122 panels and Seph & Dom has covered two short sex scenes and some fluff in only 70 panels so far.

I am accepting all offers! I will draw most content; scat, rape and cruelty are about the only no nos.

I've had an idea floating around for a while of opening up for long comic commissions like Under Control and Seph & Dom.

You would buy them in blocks of 100 for a fixed price regardless of content (maybe a little more if your character is hella complicated).
When I take comic commissions usually the only regret the client has is that they wish they were longer, or could have moved a little slower and built things up more gradually. Even when they have paid for many pages, there is a sense that one must sqeeze thier moneys worth from every pannel, which can lead to a string of money shots or other compromises to keep costs down.
With a block of 100 the price is set up front and you have alot of space to really take your time - you can set the scene, linger on tender moments and facial expressions, observe the hottest parts from multiple angles and apriciate the passage of time in the scene. You can tell a story.
It would still be an expensive item (about £2000-£2500) but it could be payed in installments and after the initial weeks of getting the script and sketching done, you would have 100 days in a row of uploads to enjoy.

I would really love to take a commission like this - I wonder if any of yous would be interested?

Big things are comming!
My partner has been waiting by the phone for several months now for word on their goal to teach English in Korea, then suddenly they got an interview! Then they got accepted the next day! ...And now they're leaving at the end of this month! :'D
This has been a real firework up the arse indeed! Everything has been revolving around them getting ready to leave since we got the news and it will probobly continue this way until they are on the plane. This means that I'm not going to get as much time to work on illustraitions this month :( Progress will still be happening, but its going to be slow.
(For those aware of my terrible emotional state for the past few weeks; I'm feeling better!)

Let's give a big cheer and lots of support for this year long Korean Adventure! It will be needed :') (and oh yeah, I'm going to be living by myself for a year :_;)
