I am a 100% slut-enthusiast. I support people being trampy and fucking all kinds of people, all the time. But its a dangerous world we live in, and you need to protect yourself and others. Every time I hear someone say 'I can't keep it up with a condom on' it makes me sick.

So I was at target today and saw that there's now essentially a furry Barbie... I guess its from the guy who made Bratz, which is pretty obvious since it looks like they just put a dog head on a Bratz body. Now I'm wondering how long it will be before we start getting some Rule 34 on Pinkie Cooper.


There's even a promo animation, which looks pretty good, I wonder if they're going to try to get a show to hawk these things.

Probably the most disturbing/stupid thing about this toy line is that this dog lady has a pet dog. In the animation its obvious that they live in a world of dog people, which raises all kinds of questions about the non-sentient dogs. Are they slave? The retarded? Their babies?

So has anyone else seen these? Thoughts?

Hotch and I are going to be at RMFC this year! Which means we're going to take some orders for badges!
An example of what the badge will look like is here:

Badges are 3" x 4.2" and will be double sided, featuring your character on the front and the playing card design seen in the example. However, if you're interested in just a more typical 'my face + name' style badge, we'll still be happy to do those too!

Badges are $20, paid via Paypal and delivered at the con.

If you are interested, please send one of us a note with character references/description, the exact name you want shown on the badge, and an email address we can send the PayPal invoice to. Also, please let us know if you want to be a King, Queen, or Jack and what suit you would prefer. If you'd like to be featured as a full body on an Ace or Joker, contact me to find out what the up-charge will be (depends on character complexity).

We will start work once the PayPal invoice has been paid. We will print and laminate the badge and deliver it to you at RMFC. A finished full-res version of the badge will also be sent to the email provided in case you ever want to make another copy of your badge.

So Hotch and I have decided we should try and buy a house, which is both awesome and scary at the same time, but mostly it means we need to scrape together some extra money this year. To help with that, I've decided to take on some commissions. I'm going to start with two, and depending how well those go, I will probably do more. Since I don't really do commissions much anymore I'm going to be sort of picky this time around. Those who are interested in a commission should contact me with a description of what they want, and I will pick the two that I want to do first. These commissions are only going to be porn, because frankly I find it super boring to draw characters watching TV or generally just standing around doing other G-rated stuff. Characters with references or character sheets are highly recommended, I really don't want to make up your character from a description.

Obviously since I will be picking the commissioner, I'm not going to draw every fetish out there, but feel free to note me with whatever you want to see drawn, the worst that could happen is I decide to draw someone else's idea.

So everyday I see at least 3 or 4 of these pre-drawn commission auctions in my inbox. And it looks like people really like them, or at least bid on them a whole lot. I think it's interesting that people seem willing to bid higher than a standard commission price to get themselves added to a drawing that already exists. Is it because you already know what the final product will look like? Sort of like a floor model in a showroom?

What's your opinion of them?

Do you think I should give one a shot?

If so, should I make it for two separate characters to bid, or have the auction for one bidder paired with an existing character I draw?

Any other thoughts?

I think the wasteland style badges I did for RMFC turned out pretty well. Although I don't know about any other apocalypse themed cons coming up, I'm going to keep doing a few more badges in that style.

I'm going to open four slots at a time so that I don't get backlogged, thus these should have a pretty quick turn around.

So today at work I had blood drawn to be tested for a wellness exam and passed out right afterwards....

I guess that means I failed the exam.

Aside from being totally embarrassing, it also made me feel completely out of it to the point that I went home once I thought I could drive again.
I've been sleeping since then, but still feel like crap. Any suggestions for what might make me feel better? I've already been drinking tons of water, eating and taking vitamins...

So I was looking at the calendar and realized that RMFC is next weekend! This year's theme is the furry apocalypse, so I was thinking I could make up a new badge for myself. And if I've got time, why not make a couple more to drum up some drinkin' money for the con?

Anyone that's going to RMFC interested in a post-apocalypse badge commission? Let's say I'll just do two to start with, to be delivered at the con. It has been so long since I've done badges I'm not even sure what's reasonable any more. How about 20 bucks?

Hotch is out of town, so I've had a lot of down time to do some sketching!

So with the last installment of the 100 Sketch Challenge, I have officially run out of paid commissioners. So I think I'm going to call it done at this point.

I found with this challenge that people asked for all kinds of things I didn't particularly want to draw, which was good to get me out of my comfort zone... but bad because at 10 bucks a pop it didn't exactly motivate me to get them done in a timely manner. More than once, single pictures held up the whole process, which stretched this challenge into years sadly. And of course I didn't want to do any personal artwork while people were waiting on me for pictures they had paid for.

So with this challenge cleared out of the way, hopefully look for intermittent art to resume once again.

For those patient souls who wanted your existing sketches inked and colored, please note me if you are interested. Hey everybody, I know it seems like I dropped off the face of the planet, but that's because apparently planning a wedding and a bunch of trips is -way- more time consuming than people would lead you to believe!

 dreaddenimpirate and I are headed off to California tomorrow to get married! But that's not all, we're also going to be spending the weekend hanging out at the NorCal Pirate Festival (www.norcalpiratefestival.com) So if you're in that area and like pirates, you should swing by... you just might run into us!

So Hotch and I were driving back from Xmas tonight and ended up listening to some completely ridiculous religious radio shows. I didn't realize radio shows still existed, let alone that they were both Furry AND Christian.

Just wanted to share something that made Xmas truly -magical- this year. Elk rape.

We just got back from California, where we secured a location for the wedding reception, and had that first push to get the ball rolling on all the rest of the planning. Luckily my dad is a great wrangler of artists and inventor of crazy plans... and even more luckily, my step-mom is an organizer that will keep him hopefully on track.

This is why  dreaddenimpirate is jumping back on her commissions with both feet, which hopefully will inspire me to do the same (I'm not going to let her beat me to 100! ...at least I hope not). Of course, if she keeps turning out five or six a day, I might not have a chance with my one day off a week.

So the last few months have been just a whirlwind of craziness. Hotch is much better about keeping up with FA and posting journals about what's going on as it happens, but suffice to say we've had a busy summer.

I realize this means no art production, and my apologies go out to my waiting commissioners. Not a day goes by that I don't look at the list of commissions posted above the monitor and think about finding time to squeeze them out. I just wanted to let everyone that's waiting for a drawing the wait is hopefully drawing to an end. I plan on buckling down this weekend to get a few out, so you should see some new posts from me no later than Monday.

Well first thing in the morning, Hotch and I are jumping on a plane (which she's -thrilled- about) to sunny California. Since we're traveling light by air, that means I won't have my trusty pith helmet. So anyone that is trying to spot us at the Pirate Festival will have to keep an eye out for my red velvet pirate hat instead, or just look for Hotch since she's much more recognizable.

I guess the pirate fest is trying to set a world record for most pirates in one place, so everyone is encouraged to dress up on Saturday to help their head count, which they're doing at 4pm.

So pending a background check, I have a brand new full time job that I start the 24th! Mostly just posting this to explain why those one-a-day commission sketches have ground to a halt. I hope to jump back on them asap, but now with full employment I will probably just be able to do a couple every weekend instead of every day.
