Definition of the Word Bigot and Words of Advice

a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
In case anyone was wondering. ANYONE can be a bigot regardless of them being straight, gay, genderless, trans, or animal. Please realize that when you are calling someone a bigot, you are really stating that you are one as well. Please refrain from calling someone a bigot unless they are truly being one by not tolerating ANY OTHER opinion. Probably best to refrain from saying it regardless and to either just ignore them or state "I disagree, this is my opinion on about this issue or topic." We all have different opinions and beliefs. If you want respect for your opinion and beliefs then you also need to respect others have their own opinions and beliefs.
Be polite, be professional, be respectful. People will take more out of your actions than what you are saying. If you come off rude and disrespectful in your post even IF you are right, you'll be seen as a rude and disrespectful person. If you are polite and respectful in your words and deeds, people will see that whether you are wrong or right. Also if you do end up wrong about something(which will happen because no one is always right), say so! If you want to be the best, always admit when you are wrong.

Last few days have been interesting. I got home from Akon in Texas and found that the minecraft server I mod on had gone through a revolt. Needless to say that was confusing and I choose to remain semi-neutral in the "war" since I had friends on both sides. But everything is better now, so feel free to join me on bteam www.lukeycraft.com. Where the fun happens.
On another note I have started working on another cosplay. It'll be mainly be crocheted. I'm working on gloves/paws for it at the moment then I'll be doing the ears. If all goes to plan it'll look very cute. Blue and orange are the colors. I'm debating whether to go more punkish with it or more cute lolita. Maybe I'll end up doing both in the future.
As of yesterday I'm an Aunt to a cute little girl.
I'm hoping to post more of my art and amigurmi on here over time, but for now most of new stuff is in a shop on etsy that a I run with a friend. www.etsy.com/shop/caralanecreations

Who Am I?
Posted 10 years agoGreetings! I'm Amelia Shade, better known as Ames. I'm a female and I've known about this site for a few months but never really made that push to join because I wasn't sure if I fit here that well. But now I know for sure I do. My animal is a feline. Always has been since as long as I can remember. I plan to make my own fursuit one day, but for now I'll sport cat ears. I've seen some amazing art stuff on here and at cons. I recently when to a con and cosplayed a humanized cheshire cat, while not fully animal I felt most like myself in public than I have in a long time. Not because I was humanizing a cat but because I was being more true to myself by embracing at some of the cat in public. I've always loved animals growing up and movies like Robin Hood. Love the movies Summer Wars and Wolf Children. I'm also an anime fan and brony as well. I don't like the term pegasister because it sounds meh and most people know what you mean when you say bronies. Style/fashion choice, well that differs per day. ;) Feel free to message me. Love to talk with people.
