Recently I've been wondering about my blue jay self and what would've happened had I decided on another species. I've already dabbled a bit in being a dragon (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11831996/), but that was only paint and only a partial look. What if I were something else, same markings and colors and all that but a different species? I'm thinking of eventually getting a pic of me as another animal, but I can't decide what. I'm torn between a buck, skunk, lop eared rabbit, goat, and full on dragon. What do y'all think, and if none of those sound good what do you thing would look best as me? Well, second best since blue jays are best. Heh I'd love to hear your opinions on the subject.

I asked my co-worker again why my list of doable celebrities was a poor list. (See http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2256637/) It turns out, it's not that they're unattractive. I don't have bad taste in men. It's just that they apparently don't look like celebrities. They look like normal people. To her, it defeats the purpose of wanting to fuck a famous person if they don't look like a famous person. When I mentioned Alan Rickman as being on the verge of list or no list she said he was the only acceptable choice of them all. Ah well. To each their own. That's another mystery solved. Now where's my groovy van and nerdy chick?

Closing at work tonight, I got into an argument with a co-worker on the appearance of Justin Bieber. She claimed he was hot, and I vehemently disagreed. After a mature back and fourth of, "Yes he is" and "No he isn't" she asked me which celebrities I thought were hot. I listed off 4, and apparently I have poor taste. I said David Tennant, Richard Hammond, Alan Tudyk, and Brian O'Halloran. If you don't know who they are IMDB them or something. Anywho, apparently choosing them was weird. Much like my birdy self, time seems to be flying fast. I still can't believe it's been two years, two years, with my mate Kyle. Back in high school, crossing the 6 month mark was something crazy. Two years ago, underneath the Ft. Pitt Bridge, he and I began going out as we watched the fireworks explode into romantic shrapnel. Two years later we're still going strong. I love my boring roo with all my heart, and one of my resolutions this year is to make sure nothing changes between us (The other being to not die. So far, I've never failed to meet that one. heheh). Over the last weekend my mate and I headed out to Philly for what was, I must say, the best freakin' concert I've ever been to. It was Reel Big Fish and The Aquabats with The Suburban Legends and Koo Koo Kanga Roo. It was such a fun show! The crowd was wild, and every band got us more excited and pumped than the last. KKKR went up first, and all their music, while kinda childish, got us dancing and singing along. Every song had a dance move and a sing along part that they gave us. It really got everyone moving! After that was Suburban Legends, and I never thought I'd see them live. They like to stay around the West Coast. Their music is great, and they're choreographed like a boy band up on stage with their trumpet players and lead singer dancing and such. They sometimes play at Disney in California doing covers of old movie songs, and when they played "I Just Can't Wait to be King" it made my night! They also covered, to everyone's surprise, the Bed intruder song from online (This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMtZfW2z9dw if you don't know heh). I would've been content if that was the last act of the show, but no, there was more to come. Up next was The Aquabats. For those of you not in the know, they're superheroes. Their live shows are all kinds of crazy, with villains poping up for fights between songs and crazy costumes and videos. The lead singer, MC Bat Commander, is also the co-creator of Yo Gabba Gabba, so the robot from the show came onstage to dance for the last song. With one band left, Reel Big Fish came up and blew the house up! They have so much energy, so much presence, everyone was dancing, singing along, and having a great time. I've seen them before, and they never get old. Hell, the crowd was so pumped that between sets everyone was singing along to the songs played over the radio. heh It was, without a doubt, the most awesome concert I've been to.

Is there anyone out there that can modify my icon for me? I had this idea of replacing the J with an N and slapping some goggles on the jay's head, but I'm nowhere near cool enough to do it. I was watching Bones today, and the episode was about a killer that followed the book that Brennan wrote when it came down to committing his crimes. Watching this episode makes me wonder if all of the forensic shows on tv could be giving criminals the means and information to circumvent forensic scientists. I'm just curious about it since I'm studying to be one (a forensic scientist, not a criminal). What do y'all think?

I have this Toronto Blue Jays hat that I wear around all the time. Every so often someone will stop me and either ask why I like the Jays as opposed to my hometown team, or they'll ask if I like the Jays.
