it's been two months since my shop experienced a sudden stop. i've been working on this problem without respite

i think i found a temporary solution. this solution might become a permanent one.
depending on how well it works for everybody.
my new shop should be available hopefully within this month.

Today's news saddened me.
Dragoneer, who not only was the owner of this site, but also one of the more liberal furs who accepted many different fetishes and gave
us a place to gather and share our artwork for many many years, has passed away. he did his best, even if the server providers gave him a hard time.

My condolences go to his family and close friends.

as unfortunate and sad this may be, what does it mean for us as a community?
from what i heard, FA wasn't doing well financially in the first place, so it is quite possible that the site might close...
i hope that the staff will at least give us a heads up should this worst-case scenario find it's way to reality.

i suggest you save your faves and or contacts somewhere. check your notes and see if there are people you'd like
to keep in touch with, maybe send them a message and tell them where to find you or something. though i'm sure
if you made friends through FA, you might be chatting with them elsewhere already, as FA's PM system isn't as
practical as many messengers like discord, skype, telegram or teamspeak and many more.

so i'm still working on updating / fixing the long animation in episode 61
there were some unexpected issues at the beginning and now, the new and
improved fire effect takes longer to render.

i hope to finish the 3 minute animation and the short roasted animation
till the 17th of this month.

another delay, but hey! it's going to be worth the wait!

this time i want to focus on animating stuff, so there will be less individual images but some
lengthy animations to enjoy!
i'm aiming for the main animations to be around 3 minutes long each, with maybe some shorter extra animations.
the basic idea is to have maybe 5 images as an intro and 5 more for the prep and then
having the long animation do the heavy-lifting and have some extra pictures just
for variety.

i'm really curious about the outcome ^^
as always, i'm trying to push my standards and learn new art skills to provide even better
stuff in the future. this, of course takes time, which is why you see delays on my releases on
a regular basis. i hope people aren't as bothered by irregular releases as i initially thought ^^'

1: a week ago, i caught the flu and was sick for the whole week. during that time, progress was slow
which means that i won't be able to finish the set on time. sorry.
estimated release date for the picture set is the first of January 2024.

2: i've been contacted by FA and had to delete all content including cub characters.
this means that all pictures with censored and clothed minors as well as short characters
(chars with dwarfism or who are small due to their species and who have small breasts)
have been removed and will not appear in my FA gallery anymore.

appearently censoring and linking to my other pages was not enough :/

with episode 56 having a late releace due to the longer development time, i don't think
i'll be able to release episode 57 in the first or even the second week of december.
just so you know. i'm sorry, but there's simply not enough time for what i've planned to do.
But i'm aiming for a release date before or at least around christmas!

what will the next episode be about?
here are two spoilers, read as far as you want to be spoiled:

1: A medieval dining hall in a castle, where a bunch of knights / warriors are having a feast,
celebrating their latest victory. cute maids are bringing in the beer and food,

2: as one of the warriors remarks how chubby one particular maid has gotten, they decide
to have her roasted on a spit. since everybody's so drunk and in a party-mood, she thinks
it's a joke but realizes too late that they're actually going to roast her
(so it's semi-willing / unwilling)

my move is done for the most part, at least i'm through the most difficult part.
i will start working again, so you can expect to see new stuff from me probably in
early february.

long story short: i'm moving to a new home and after releasing the second part of my newest picture story, i will now
focus on cleaning, packing and taking care of stuff for the move.

We had this idea on our discord to create a mascot for the furry-cooking community!
a character for everybody to use and to spread the word of the furry cannibal gods O_O

so, i know there are a few furry-cooking related discord groups out there already. I'm even part of two of them, so first i thought
there wasn't much of a point to create one myself since i wouldn't really be able to add anything new to it.

Hey there!

I've been working hard on the transition from poser to blender during the past 3 months.
This month was purely dedicated on re-creating characters and i'm sure most of you have
seen the new Malasi model.
So far, I've been able to rebuild the following characters

Sheila
Nadia
Ellenore
Fernando (Lucy's husband)
and a new polar bear girl

many of you have voted for the grizzly bear from episode 11 to be re-created, but i
honestly can't see why xD
i feel like she's the most generic character possible, with no background story and no real
personality other than being a super-fan of the tiger character.
but... i also know that sometimes, people just like an artpiece that the artist feels is not that great and
the other way around, sometimes the artist puts a lot of effort into it and it get's only minimal attention.
that's the way of life :P
so, i've decided to meet you guys n gals somewhere halfway: by creating a sexy polar bear girl in her
late 20s, there is still room for a friend for her, who could be a grizzly bear.
i get my more interesting character design and you get two bear characters, including
the grizzly you wanted :)
it's a win-win!

so what's coming up next?
i still want to create at least two characters before i start working on the first blender picture set.
for the set, i will have to create a new grill, but i'll take one of the premade backgrounds from poser
to use as the surrounding scene.

1: So here we are. The latest project, the pirate themed 3-parter, finally done after suffering from
an HDD crash, including a data loss of roughly 2 TB... and 6 months of work down the drain (including
the meat processing facility, the new cooking studio and my hell's kitchen).
As if that wasn't enough, working on part 3 of the pirate set, my 3d program Poser 11 Pro started messing up
a lot of scenes, not saving my files properly, working with low FPS and sometimes just deleting bodyparts
whilst rendering. It was such a mess, that it postponed the release from the first week of October to the
beginning of the third. It resulted in a storywise nice ending, but from a technological standpoint it wasn't as nice.

2: This made me think and consequently, I came to the conclusion that I can't continue like this.
My characters and my backgrounds are getting more and more complex and if poser can't manage my setup, there's
no point in continuing to work with Poser. I also got Poser 12, but this program
is even more buggy and the materials I created in Poser 11 are not compatible with Poser 12.

I was planning to move to a different 3D software for a long time, maybe two years by now. But what held me
back was the fact that my characters wouldn't be easily transferrable and this would mean I'd have to start over
with my characters. And since I was still able to kinda work with Poser and get acceptable results, even if I had
to go through a lot of pain (loading a single character takes about 5 minutes, loading a scene
can take between 7 and 15 minutes. Posing a character takes half an hour to an hour and rendering a single 1400x900
picture can take up to 8 hours. my longest render took 20 hours)
and a lot of waiting for Poser to catch up with whatever I was doing (not counting countless crashes and the bluescreen
that killed my HDD).
But the amount of messups in the last project made me realize I had to switch now.

3: About two weeks ago, I started working on my first character template in Blender 2.9
The mesh is done and I'm currently working on the weight map.
Finishing this Template will probably take the whole month, since I have no prior experience with this form of
character creation. I need to learn how to properly paint the weight map, create dependencies between morphs
(or in blender terms: create drivers for different shape keys) and how to create a proper UV map.
My goal is to create one or two characters with that Template and offer it for free download, so people who are
using Blender can test the character and, if they feel like it, give me some feedback.
The first free character model will be my own interpretation of a 2D sprite from a little game called "Undertale"
which is available on Steam. If you haven't played it, go check it out.

4: This means there will be no more picture sets this year (maybe something in december, but I'm not going to promise
anything) BUT I have something else I can offer.
I have a lot of different, more complex test renders and smaller private projects done. I rendered these
to test environments, lighting and characters and also experiment with ideas and technologies. My intention is
to periodically release these for free, as they're not fully rendered or corrected. These pictures will be released
so you guys see I'm still around and kicking :P

But this also means I won't have any stable income during my move from Poser to Blender, so I humbly ask
for some financial support. If you liked my past work and think I deserve a helping hand, please consider

characters from my current character pool. This is your opportunity to tell me if there's a particular character

high chance of me redoing this character in Blender.

So I've been planning to make a series out of my pirate-themed picture set, which i'm still working on.
The current picture set is a classical pirate-fantasy, but here comes the "but".

BUT: I thought about the world, recently, and I remembered that the technology level is slightly
above ours (remember the cloning stuff?) so I thought it might be cool to have the pirate-themed
series have also some technological advancements compared to our world.

It'd be nothing too fancy, just slight steam-punkish touches. Basically imagine our RL 1700s
having some electricity through steam-power and some mechanical gadgets.
A handcranked radio to listen to crackly low-range broadcasts; flickery lightbulbs not much
brighter than oil lamps and revolver pistols that don't use cartrigdes, but the drums have to be
loaded like a frontloader. stuff like that, that gives a few more options for the story or cool scenes.

that would also mean there'd be some basic electric grills and ovens ;)
imagine a pirate sitting on a fixed bicycle thing to provide the energy to slowly cook some
unfortunate crew member while yelled at by the rest of the crew to be silent because they're
trying to listen to the football comentator on the radio xD
all while stranded on a beach Oo

hey there,
so three days ago, poser caused a massive crash and disabled one of my hard drives.
Our (my friends and my) best guess is that poser somehow managed to scramble the
partition list / index / whatever on my HDD. Windows is able to detect the hard drive,
but is currently unable to read it. It asks me to "initiate" the drive, which will probably
be followed by formating the drive.
Since I don't want to lose all my data, I'm going to send the drive to a professional
data recovery company.

expect the next picture set to (hopefully) release next month.
this month, I won't be able to release anything. Maybe I'll find some old
test renders to upload for free, so you guys don't forget about me ;)

so i have an idea for the characters i want to use and the scene and general setup, but i'm indicisive about
whether i want the entree to be
1: on a special spit over an open fire / in a smoker
or
2: cooking in a crock pot with plenty of marinade

it is unfortunate that i have to inform you guys n gals that the upcoming episode
suffers from a delay, as i am now suffering from another lumbago...
hey, at least i haven't had a lumbago for a year!

also, the background for this set took three times longer than i anticipated :/

so here's some info about the upcoming set:
the protagonist is a known dog character from my character pool, but hasn't been cooked yet.
there are also two side characters alongside the main character; and the whole scene is going
to be in a meat-packing facility.
it's all there, upsidedown hanging girls going through different processes such as
defurring, cleaning and even eviscerating BUT: no blood!
i actually came up with a contraption that can remove internal organs without exposing anything.
so no organs or blood will be visible (maaaaybe a little with the first cut, but we'll see :P )
and then there's a whole machinery to pack the girls tightly!

the whole thing is not supposed to be horror show, don't worry.
the focus is more on the fact that "people" are turned into "food" by an emotionless entity that
is the machinery around them.

i hope all of you like the idea and if there is someone sceptical out there who's not into
machines, that they at least check out the preview pics when they come out and give the idea a chance :)

and yes, i actually built a whole fricking meat processing facility in blender...

Just wanted to inform you that, unfortunately, there won't be a picture set for January.
I'll be working through January on a picture set for February though!

I've been working on 3D assets, characters and commissions in december, so there
was no time to work on a picture set for for 01.2021
But I can already tell ya: the next picture set will most probably include a cute panda girl ;)
