NeeviCon 9/21 - 9/23; Please let me know if you are going
General | Posted 13 years agoHey folks! I hope you can come to NeeviCon. The con that takes place in my living room (and sometimes bedroom) ;3
So It'll start 8 PM Friday and go until whenever you leave or usually like 3,4,5 PM-ish on Sunday 9/23.
For food, I plan to have Jimmy John's cater and deliver to us Saturday afternoon. Maybe have some lovely fursuiters answering the door.
Maybe eat before you come friday, or we can find a place to invade and eat, or order pizzas or something. Tho, I prefer getting eating out. Less mess in my place ( at least for the first day :P )
If you want to bring food or beverage, it's up to you.
What are we going to do for all that time? Hang out of course. Maybe play some video games. If anyone wants to bring a system n games, that'll work. I plan to take on challengers at Street Fighter EX2+. What do you mean you never heard of it?! It's street fighter, so you already know all the moves. hadouken hadouken R2.
Maybe bring magic cards if you play? Always an excellent time waster.
Bring your laptop/tablet and enjoy bogging down my Wi-Fi. We might gravitates towards youtube for entertainment at some point. or we can watch my AMVs that I made LoLz
Come and go as you are able. You are welcome to the floorspace and/or air matresses that are available if you wish to stay overnight. Hopefully it won't be insane-o hot or too cold. I do have some pillows and blankets lying around. I can also keep you warm :3

General | Posted 13 years agoThe first RabbitCon in the valley was postponed, but 
pkmotors may be in the area July 28 - Aug 5. I am aware that since the last RabbitCon announcement, we now have a full time caffeinated rabbit in the area as well. This is not meant to diminish his awesomeness :3 He is welcome to partake in the festivities as well.
However! I have to work Aug 2 & 3, so I may need a rabbitsitter. I may be able to get off the 2nd, but not set in stone yet. ALSO! This is the weekend of WE Fest LoL. ALSO! I have old high school friends visiting July 29 to July 31. Just to complicate things. Sadly, this will diminish the amount of rabbit-time for those in the valley, but I hope to make it up.
ALSO! This means that I will likely not be able to attend CatDdays at all, as that would be on Aug 3 & 4, and I already have to work on the 3rd. Plus, that would move us away from all the furries in the valley, which is the total opposite of what we want!

General | Posted 13 years agoI got work in the AM, so tonite is going to be a fall into bed nite once I get home. ETA is after midnite to DL.
AC was pretty ok :3 people that say its too big, I didn't find that to be true.
Enjoyed hanging with furries (esp rabbits). Saw some familiar faces and some new faces from ppl im watching. Met some new people to creep on. I mean watch on FA. Didn't see everyone, but it's hard to plan time spent with so many moving parts. Got lotsa hugs. Very cool. A few furries shouting my name ^///^ also ate at the hallowed Fernando's. Knowing all too well the wasteland of food options at MFF, AC was cool being smack downtown. If I go again, ill want to suit more down the street.
I brought my arm flailing to two of the dances. I also want to echo that it was hard to dance to renards set, but I toughed it out. :P
Also wtf with our hotel bathroom not having a lock? Only room in the hotel with that feature. LoL
Pictures will happen this week. Looking forward to that.

General | Posted 13 years agoThank you to all attendees for shattering the attendance record (11) and for braving the hot n steamy swedish sauna that was my apartment. I think NeeviCon will need to look into hotel options if it gets that hot again. Tho' that only kind of weather only happens like 2-3 days a year up here. Now it's 30 degrees cooler and raining. Also, thank you for putting up with the 7 hours in the reg line while the computers were down. We are still working out the kinks and hope to prevent that from happening at the next con.
Also to those that could not come. There will always be NeeviCons as long as I am around :3

MAGIC THEME COMMANDER DECKS - Furries v. Humans v1.0
General | Posted 13 years agoLoL where did I find the free time to do this? We'll the decks are complete and untested. Maybe people will want to try at NeeviCon. Manabase, balance of power, and general over functionality will evolve and improve over time. Still open to suggestions and will modify continuously. I think I was going to add Gideon as the planeswalker for the humans, but never got around to it. Plus, I don't have a spare one to throw into the deck.

NEEVICON DATE - UPDATE June, 9 & 10
General | Posted 13 years agoThis is copypasta from the previous journal, with one important update. I will not be around to launch NeeviCon until late late Friday or likely Saturday morning. Therefore, the dates are now just June 9 & 10. Start time being ~ noon on 6/9/12 and end time being ~ 6 PM on 6/10/12 If desired, get a hold of me if you are interested in coming by late late Friday, and I will keep you posted on when I get back.
So come be furry with the furs. You don't have to bring anything except your wonderful selves, but if you want to, feel free to bring foods or beverage or video game, IRL game, something else I wouldn't even think of... etc.
