I had this really silly idea to make a "theme" deck type thing. It's two commander decks, with the theme: Humans vs Furries. Of course there are no 5 color generals that fit the theme. So based on what I felt would be the best colors, I chose Rith, the Awakener (WRG colors) and Dakkon Blackblade (WUB colors) as generals LoL

So, my questions is just for anyone to shout out or list any cards that fit the theme and color. For the furry theme, it could just be the picture, or the flavor of what the card does, or however you want to justify it.

I think I got this idea after buying Ajani vs Nicol Bolas :-F It's been sitting dormant in my magic card room for months now. Need to sleeve it up and duel! But first, need to finish making the decks :3

In preparation for this journal, I went to see what I wrote at the end of last year. Turns out, it was nothing XD I guess I did a meme, but that's too cookie-cutter to say how things REALLY went down. I think since I had just joined FA, I concluded that all the effort would just have been in vain. The words never finding an eye to read them.

Looking back, I never thought I would come this far. I kind of had my expectations, but events of the past year have blown them far far away, exceeding beyond measure.

You probably heard through previous journals or discussions that I am powerfully introspective. Every word, every action can potentially be related to past, present, and future experiences. This is why I am somewhat serious when I say that I am my favorite topic of conversation. If ever I space out, it might be because I am trying to process too many things at once. You are also my favorite topic of conversation, too. Drawing connections... sharing experiences. The world is a big place, and I cannot experience everything there is by myself.

I didn't have high expectations, but I am always optimistic. It's difficult being slightly introverted yet having such an interdependent personality. I'd like to think my life is an open book. Probably not true, but it's what I have as my goal. Also, being somewhat isolated in the boonies seemed a little daunting, too. Thankfully, the internet was invented. I've historically successfully worn people down by seeing them on a regular basis. Skype FTW! If we haven't talked on skype in a while or ever, drop me a line. I'm usually on to receive messages during work, too :3 I am like water ...very fluid ...take the shape of whatever container I'm placed in ...and I will wear you down after thousands of years.

I remember my first meet in 2010. It was a mix of social nervousness and excitement from unbridled optimism. I don't think I said all that much to the 5 people that were there XD Then more meets kept coming getting more face time. Also, sifting through FA looking for people to give some love to helped as well. I took it upon myself to become some sort of Red River Valley welcome wagon and advocate of the awesomeness and welcoming nature of the RRVF crew. What was the motive? Maybe to give myself a sense of belonging more to the group. Pretty soon I was meeting all these new furs and seeing them meet the rest of the crew. Then, friendships were forged and everyone walked off into the sunset with your favorite song playing. At least that's how I imagine it went down. I tend to romanticize the past.

What else... Oh, I leveled up so much over the course of this past year. I went from nothing, to having a ref sheet, to having art of myself, to having art of myself with others, to having a collar, to having physical furry artwork in my apartment, to carpooling to furry events in the cities, to being a handler, to going to a furry rave, to having a partial fursuit, to going to overnight furry events, to having a furry twitter account (its not that hard to find LoL), to going to furry conventions, and now to helping coordinate and organize meets. By my count, I am at least a level 12 furry. I don't know what other scales of measure are out there.

Also, it was a very furry holiday season. Thanks to my furry family for letting me lean on you this year.

I want to apologize that I can't just fit everyone on to my profile page because you all mean the world to me... those in RRVF, those i've met from michigan, those I've meet in Chicago, those I've meet at MNFurs events, those I've watched and commented mercilessly with my 2 cents --including all my panda buddies, and those that have watched me. Just thinking about how one year ago, the vast majority of you were not in my life... it boggles my mind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping me in an almost constant state of euphoria. Give yourselves a big furry panda hug for me ^///^ I just came to the realization that I haven't mentioned a whole lot by name in this journal. There's just so many to list and I don't want to leave you out. On an emo note, I dread the day where I stretch myself too thin with the people in my life. This is always a constant concern. If It is perceived that I ignore you or offend you, I wish to hear about it. The CQI department of my brain is ready and eager to hear your concens and take action on your behalf.

"treat others the way you would like to be treated" This explains a lot of my actions. Sounds kind of selfish and self-serving to me.

Also, I was inspired long ago by one of my friends in high school regarding my modus operandi. Live your life so that people think you are too good to be true. Aiming for the stars I guess.

When I read that MFF moved from the boonies to the Hyatt that first time I thought, "This place is much more accessable to me. It would be interesting to go there, but that will never happen." This was long before joining FA and meeting so many wonderful people. I never would have imagined it could ever happen. Then, when I joined FA, I thought that I would go just to check it out. The fact that showed up with a partial fursuit for me was a little surreal. It was a suprise to no one since he's only been streaming the making of it for forever, but still... wow ^///^ I hope posts that two second video of me putting on the suit for the first time somewhere for people to see. It pretty much says it all.

It's all a bit fast for me. I'm slow. Also old. Therefore, I don't have all the time in the world anymore. So, it seems like everything just keeps falling into place for me. Just to think that a year ago, I didn't have any furry furry friends save the wonderful . It was a thrill having him meet those that could attend from the vally after telling him about how much fun I have all the time at the events. Also, got to introduce us both to some folks in Michigan, including who did my ref sheet :P

There was just not enough hours in the day XD I wish I could have hung out with everyone all the time. Of the dozen or so people I knew would be there, it's unrealistic to think that everyone's interestes and schedules would match up let alone overlap. It was great to see everyone in their... element :3 I hope you all had a blast.

So, I mentioned that I had a fursuit. I don't think I did it justice XD I'm such a n00b, but I'm learning from the best *coughricocough* :3 The main problem I had was deciding on talking vs not talking LoL I naturally don't talk, so that was the default response. Tho' trying to meet people as well so... LoL whatevs. Also, my eyeballs are not the greatest in the world. So recognition of others is a challenge. No glasses isn't much of a problem, but bright lights or not enough light can prove challenging. Tho' I appreciated all the surprise glomps from behind. They work well ^_^ I'm more of a visual learner. So it's hard to remember people without getting a good look at the badge or an entire FA page Walking back from the golden arches, a bunch of us were in suit and happened to pass a wedding party who were more than happy to let us in on some of their pictures LoL. I was taken aback with how many people were lined along the fursuit parade path. I guess that's probably the most popular event XD Also, got to glowstring in suit the first night. Circles! wheeeeee! LoL When will there be time to learn more? Not enough hours in the day. When it was all said and done, I and gave and received a lot of free hugs. I miscalculated the schedule of events. I was totally on in coming a day early to hang out with and . Totally lucked out on having a room on the main floor at the Hyatt (second time that's happened ^_^). I'd usually forget my badge or somethine in my room. No worries! I'll be back in a hot minute :) The issue was with my departure. From my anime con experience, Sunday is usually a dead day with not much in the way of scheduled events. Therefore, I expected everything to be mostly wrapped up around noonish. TOTALLY NOT THE CASE! O.o I still got to see the fursuit dance competition (anyone got any pointers :P) and to suit around a bunch more, but I had to peace out at 5 to make my flight. Live and learn.

Sadly, my imaginary girlfriend was sick and couldn't make it. Tho' Vix did ok in a pinch ;)

It's been a year since I joined this site for weirdos. I don't know if I am on board with this "FURRY" thing, but I guess I'll linger a little longer.

My only regret is not joining sooner! I've met so many wonderful people. Artists that I look forward to seeing updates, peeps that chat me up and text me up, and all the awesome furries in the F-M area and furry furry furgus and all up and down ND and MN meeting IRL with soooo many free hugs (it's within my price range). You all truly give me the jollies There is just not enough hours in the day, or days in the week, or weeks in the year to be furry enough or to tell everyone how much they mean to me.

It's all thanks to I've always been interested in bein furry ever since I saw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAwj2eLvVBg randomly on TV. I saw a lot of late night talk shows growing up :) But I concluded that I never could go at it alone and especially living at home. Then, life happened and I moved to the middle of nowhere with no one to talk to much of the time, except this guy. Recommending music to each other and exchanging stepcharts. So imagine my surprise when skyping one nite, I was asked "Is you furry?" by this secretly furry furry rabbit, it took all my panda power to go bonkers. Of course I replied that I don't have a definition of what that means, so I can't give an adequate response. We've had many lengthy discussions on definitions, terms, and linking of arts. Finally, vix said he was going to join FA. In my mind, I was screaming "OMG YES!" Cause this is what opened the door to it all. I didn't know what to expect, but I was fairly confident that this would be a good thing. I like when I'm right.
