ive been thinking an awful lot about making a furry series thats animated
but ill be honest
im so bad at stories, i enjoy even the simpliest and easiest to follow plotlines and Id enjoy any movie.
Simply, I'm terrible at story writing and im totally incapable of deciphering a good movie from a bad one other than /the vibes/ and the last thing i want to do is work blood sweat and tears to produce a feature animation for my portfolio with a weak plotline.

I mean, I've always had a comic idea with characters involved. I even fleshed out a lot of plot points and scenes with my twin.
But unfortunately my teen self wasn't able to recognize that someone being cheated on isnt really the catalyst you need to start a real plotline....

Anywho my point being... I'm looking for a comic series to animate.
Something funny and can be used for short one or two line jokes (for the sake of quick animations) and possibly in the future have longer, fleshed out setting and cast... even possible character development and that if I can keep it going for a while.....

The comic I personally have in mind would probably have to have a script written by someone else.
take place in the 00s, 90s or 80s before cellphones, and feature teenaged characters to appeal to a wide variety of viewers (on youtube) and feature PG or G rated content and jokes (perferably lots of animal puns) I might make it more mature rated with alcohol and drug use (its based on teenagers... and a beach) but nothing sexual other than the implied relationships characters might have. Drama encouraged for the story.
The main characters are Slin, the older brother, and the younger sibling is transgender. Slin feels overprotective, and might be the only one that knows their siblings birth gender. Slin is kinda into smoking a lot of pot and kinda never wants to get a job so he isnt the best role model for his sibling. But Slin's cheeky; and cocky attitude can slide back into heartwarming wholesome brother-brother love and support.

Other than that..... we didnt have any story other than Slin teaches younger brother how to use a bong.... Yep thats the only animation i have in mind for promotion of the series...
Yep scene 1 - Evening on the beach. Slin and his younger brother are in his van with the windows down and Slin is trying to coach his younger brother how to smoke weed. They're moving soon and he wants to make sure his brother is going to be cool enough to hang with new friends.
I do realize kids are DEFINATELY not that concerned with being "cool" like they used to... but bear with me the comic takes place in like 2005. Being obnoxious like jim carrie was considered funny and you could insult someone by saying "well you're gay!" and it was actually something that made people legitimately laugh or get offended. It was a different time and I hope to underline that and capture the world we used to know

I hosted 5 free art raffles and all month I tried to gain traffic and watchers and I realized that its really hard to get attention that way it used to be the coolest thing before. In the future these will be for watchers only

this time last year i had a stable job for 5 years, a fulltime job, a car, an all inclusive apartment, a 55in smart tv and $3000 worth of furniture i paid for

and now i have none of that

In May last year my TV burnt out right before I moved out of my apartment and moved in with "Jamacia lady" (as i call her) and she proceeded to work me like a dog and stole my brand new iphone, she didnt tell me her house didnt have running water. She let me drive her around nearly every day she never paid me for work, she never paid me for anything I bought her, she never even admitted she stole my phone. After my phone was stolen, i had no access to the internet. i failed to realize that the government was giving me 2 cheques a month instead of 1, and now if i wanted to go on assistance i cant because i owe them like 3 months worth and they'll dock my pay for years.

After dealing with Jamacia Lady for 4 months i tried to find somewhere else to live. I was driving all over Ontario and bouncing from couch to couch and sleeping in my car. It was fun. But my car broke down and I sold it, I never went back for my furniture... (im going this weekend to see if she sold any of my stuff...) Im bringing my stuff back to my parents hopefully. and I have a trailer i can stay in by Kitchener when the weather gets better anyway my parents have gone to jamacia and im watching the dog

As much as I love drawing quality artwork for my friends im likely going to double my price again, stop taking art trades completely

Anyway yeah I wouldnt trust this artist she decided to change my commission to not be featured in the book. She even said she completed some of it on her tablet which was clearly labeled was not going to happen. Hey I'm sure you can see it for yourself. The girl scammed me

So I bought a $200 piece of artwork because there was a promise to be in an artbook.
When she completed the artwork I could not find the ad to the art book so I confronted her about it. Are you still doing this art book I paid for?

I live in a trailer with no heat hydro or water. I'm currently heating my trailer with candles. I need help to get to the local coffee shop to draw my current commission load, and buy food and candles... Or, I need $350 of parts for my solar panels so I can have heat and hydro in my trailer.
I was talking with an electrician on kijiji and he helped me pick out the correct parts for my solar panels and I can pay him to set them up for me.
I'm raising money for a power inverter and battery controller. Then I can get the electrician quote me for labour... Then I will have power for doing art from home and be warm!

I'm just here venting about issues I've had recently
I commissioned someone $200 usd for a piece of artwork that's supposed to be featured in her illustration book
When she finished the drawing I had seen that she deleted the ad for the book. So I messaged her asking where the ad go for the book.

The respond with IF she gets enough artwork she HOPES she can make the book.
I asked her what was she going to do if she doesnt make the book? I paid this much money to sign up for the illustration book.

She responded saying that the book was never guarenteed and my art might not be featured int it. and I was simply buying a pinup at her standard pricing. (At the time of this offer she was doing more simple tablet pinups for $100)

I was pissed. $200usd and it wasnt even fullbody and didnt come with a full background. I asked her to send me the information of the commission I bought because I was going to post an artist beware. And she didnt cooperate with me and she blocked me.

I posted a vague twitter post about $200 being too much for a pinup that isn't fullbody and no background , she obviously read it and sent her keyboard warriors after me. Because they clearly thought I was buying a pinup. I was buying with intentions of getting 2 pages in her book and I'm mad. she obviously decided to cancel the book without telling the people who bought pinups off her.

I'm looking for someone with a generic wolf/fox character to commission some telegram stickers. They're $10USD paypal (or $10 CAD etransferred/cash) per sticker. and you get a bundle of them I'll give you the other 5 stickers for fox/wolf I've already drawn too.
Then After the set is done, I'd be offering recolors as a bundle for $10/sticker. That's why I'm just looking for a generic character right now.

Im considering opening an iron artist challenge... 25-100 slots 1character pinups with a simple to full painted background.

Each commission is totally rendered from scratch. After the initial sketch I would wait for any re rendering of the anatomy or character design. Then I would colour, shade, add highlighting, and paint an entire background.
Each month may have a similar theme and painting scheme

Ive basically been on hiatus for a long time if you havent noticed. Im even trying to quit the internet. But i like to log on my facebook to contact friends or take text messages from friends.
Ive been enjoying being solitary and i have no interest in getting involved in relationships lately. I hope to stay independant but im having trouble financially. I'll have to find a job that pays more than minimum wage.
My artwork has been in the backburner so long ive debated just throwing it out multiple times. but i keep reminding myself i owe people and i dont take this lightly.
