I have some news.
I have decided to take a break from writing to pursue digital art a bit more.
This has been an incredibly hard decision for me to make as I have a deep passion for literature; I have a decent following for my written commissions and I ultimately want to eventually continue those, in the future.
But I had to remind myself that I am allowed to write as much or as little as I’d like, and if digital art is what I feel like pursuing right now and that’s what’s getting me motivated, then I shouldn’t deny myself the opportunity.
I have to thank all my commissioners who have been so incredibly understanding — and I have to thank all my friends who have been extremely supportive in my endeavors :3

T.o.S. & Pricelist - Written Commissions

* Probably a lot of invasive questions, if only to ensure that I have a complete understanding of what you like, what you want, and what you are paying me for.
* A PDF of the rough draft, where you may request changes or alterations.
* A PDF of the final draft.
What I Need from You:
* Be honest and open about what you want! This is a judgment-free zone, and I am here to bring some life to your fantasies and/or characters!
* If available—pictures of the characters you'd like me to use (if not—written physical descriptions)
* Payment (in USD) up front (half/half is okay too!)
My Prices:
* $10 per 1,000 words ($20 = 2,000 words / etc.)
* Words over 5,000 will be double (0.02 cents per word / $10 = 500 / $20 = 1,000 / etc.)
* Privacy Fee - if you do not want me posting the story publicly - 10% of final price (but no lower than $5.) If you would simply like to remain anonymous, please just let me know!
* Complexity Surcharge - if you'd like significant detail, vivid descriptions, character development, slow burn, etc - 15% of final price.
Refunds:
* I do not give out refunds unless I am unable to complete your work.
My Conditions:
* If you decide to post my story publicly, please give me proper credit! If it’s somewhere not on FA, I’d love it if you sent me a link to it as well :3
My Hard Limits:
* NO Stories will be written NSFW with characters under the age of 18.
* NO Scat.
* If you are wanting a fanfic commission and I am unfamiliar with the fandom, this may result in a refusal as well.

Posted 3 years agoOften when I scroll through an artist’s profile here I see the usual list of “commissions, trades, requests, collabs” — and I, like many of you, love a good collaboration between two artists. Seeing two styles come together and work seamlessly is just so aesthetically pleasing.
And I’ve been wondering… Is it possible to collab with a writer?
There is, of course, two writers working together in a “roleplay” sense, where they each play certain characters and take turns replying and progressing the story. But the readability of a roleplay isn’t always smooth or easy. Perhaps simple touch-ups/edits would help?
And what of a digital artist? I’ve yet to see a collab between a writer and a visual artist, and maybe that’s because I’m struggling to think of what it would even look like. Perhaps the artist illustrates a scene or two from the written story? Or maybe that dynamic would work better in a comic-strip commission, with equally as many visual aids as there is dialogue.
These are my rambling thoughts for the day. Ideas? Opinions?
