If you want to know WHY, well, heh, here's an entry.
If you watch me on my personal account, you'll be aware of the journal entry I made a few weeks back regarding how I regretted making two accounts. Since then, I have deliberated on how to move on from this decision, and I have now decided I should just go ahead and delete this one to keep all my art on my main one.
2011 me had no fucking clue as to what I'd really need to make a secondary account justifiable. You gotta have the watchers, but you also gotta be consistent in both accounts. I... have neither of those. XD But at least on one account it's so much easier to keep track of everything and update everyone. I don't do ANYTHING on this account. I don't fave work, I don't really ever comment around on people's profiles, so I wasn't making myself the traffic anyway. I'd much rather do it on my personal account honestly. That way I can just be me and not have this... phantom need to be professional that this commission account makes me feel like I need to do.
I think my initial reason for this account was that I didn't want to be seen on my main account as someone who enjoy some of the more... acquired-taste fetishes people give me to draw. Ones which don't pertain to myself.
I... don't enjoy most of the fetishes themselves necessarily, most of the time it's just fun to try to make something of the concept you're given, and the chance to step out of the 'ordinary'. If you can call it that with what I DO enjoy. :9 On that topic, if you've drawn porn for so long, you spend like no time wanting to fap to it anyway, and rather more time getting mad over anatomy/composition of the piece you're making. XD
On my previous journal entry, I also made a point of saying how I have very few pieces here that actually display my full potential. Having a gallery full of coloured sketches is boring, my dudes. Not only for people who come by to give the gallery a look, but it also depressed me a little bit knowing that most of my best work was on my main. D: I have so much to show for my years of practice! Not to sound obnoxious, but I have worked very hard to overcome a big slump I had in 2015, been making sure to actually study artist styles and work on overcoming my weaknesses such as composition and perspective.
I feel like mingling my personal work with the commissions help too, you can see what goes through my gosh darn head when it's entirely my own work
But I'm rambling here. I will be entirely nuking this gallery and deleting this account at 12am GST on the 31st March.
So! TL;DR, I highly recommend that people save any works in my commission gallery, as only a select few will be transferred to my main account. Those of you who only watch me on this account, please, PLEASE go ahead and jump to my main account to watch me there. I will be dealing with all commission enquiries and such on that account starting 1st April.

Are Privacy Fees for Comms Fair? INPUT PLS.
Posted 8 years agoI just had someone tell me on dA that I am effectively 'blackmailing' people by asking a fee for private work.
Of course I spent some time justifying my actions to them but I don't think it's worth it. I'd rather hear it from the horse's mouth, if my own commissioners think it is fair.

I have been updating my prices and options on my main sheet, which will come into play after I've opened my next batch of commissions. While it will allow for more flexibility (you will be able to get chibis or waist-up/busts!), it also means that some options are removed and I did a small increase to my prices as well.
After this upcoming batch, you will no longer be able to ask for digital paintings or traditional sketches.
But, good news! I figure as I bring in my overhauled prices and options, that I'd let the old price for my digi-sketches stick around for just a wee bit longer since they've been a popular option amongst clients. And so here comes the Iron Artist challenge!
25 slots will be open. But! I will be closing these on 1st February. Whether or not they all get taken. But remember, that after this cutoff date the prices will be increased.
These will be a nice warm-up into bigger pieces that I'm opening up for later. I will also be working on these IAs in between bigger commission projects when I properly open my commissions again.
Keep an eye out for the IA image! After that's up, you're welcome to note me to claim a slot. I'll update on there with how many slots are available.

Posted 8 years agoI have been wrestling with a mix of stress and sickness in the past fortnight, and I have just been wombo-combo'd by a strike of flu.
To avoid further misfortune I'm going to be taking the time to rest as much as I can and avoid doing too much work. I'll probably try to work on owed pieces here and there, but nothing too strainful.
I currently have three big commissions to do, two of them I literally cannot advance with yet, and a good friend of mine has given me the okay to put his piece on a backburner too. So I don't need to worry about those too much.
I am also considering opening just three commission slots at a time in future due to the fact I've noticed that my quality goes down the more I have on my workload. I like to try to dedicate a bit of energy here and there to all pieces I have to complete at once but I've been working on an awful lot of big pieces (both personal and commissioned). I've felt my production come to a very harsh hault so it's mostly exhaustion on my end which has been the catalyst.
But yes. I am very sorry to those who have been waiting for me to take on their work. I will upload another journal when I am physically able to open again and when my current list is cleared.
This isn't the way I wanted 2016 to end but, it's been a shitty rollercoaster so it's probably fitting that I end it on this bad note. :9

Posted 8 years agoHey y'all! I have had a pretty bad illness the past week, and so I've had to focus on resting and getting my energy back (and regrettably so; I hate not being able to draw as much as I want to, if at all!).
This has messed up my schedule of getting my current owed commissions done. I can't get them done as soon as I've wanted them to be, since I've had to dabble on them a little at a time. I want to push through my current list before I take on new work, and I know that I have at least two people waiting on a reserve list for fairly big work.

Price Increase in 2017
Posted 9 years agoI'm just letting you all know in advance that I will probably be tinkering with my prices alot for next year. Nothing has been thought out yet though, and the revision will probably take place in late January/early February. It's mostly going to be focused on my flat colour work and digital colour sketches since those have sold alot more as of late.
I've been thinking on this for a while, since I have literally been drawing every day since the start of this year where I made a resolution to someone very dear. As a result, although I didn't notice it at first (and it was hard as hell to be motivated), I've seen that my work has gotten better and even faster, although of course I still do have some areas to work on. You guys might not have seen it all or even noticed it.
But either way, I have had a lot of friends behind me encouraging me to tweak my settings per say. I was doubtful at first because demand hasn't really changed, but I DID notice that I have been asked to add more than usual to my recent requests (such as weapons, intricately detailed props, characters with multiple limbs etc). I've found it's really bitten into the time I usually pour into my work. Like, at the moment I've found I've had to put at least a few extra days in. And the payment I have been receiving just hasn't felt adequate in ratio to that.
So yeah! All I can say is, grab commissions while they're at their current price. And I thank all of you whom have been supporting me despite my inactivity, and to those who have made my dream become reality for even a little while. It really means alot. <3

I'm hopefully going to take on some sketch/traditional badge commissions while there too. I'll be happy to take on 'homework' commissions too, those'll be treated the same way as my regular work. I just gotta get a portfolio together in case there's people there who don't watch me here or on my personal account. x3''

YCHs; What Kind? Suggestions Welcome!

Posted 11 years agoI just got finished with my last commission and so now I feel it's the time to say I'm going to have a little break from them for a bit. I have a couple of important things to concentrate on this month such as little exams and a presentation I need to produce for my qualifications.
In the meantime, I'd like to focus on personal art and getting art trades from people (both SFW and NSFW... yeah so sue me, need more of that stuff). They are a great way of bending and developing my art style and to be honest I just miss getting work from people that I want.
So yeah. Keep an eye out for journals in the future for future commission openings.

Posted 11 years agoI've had some time to practice with the new tablet now, and while you all won't have necessarily seen the fruits of my labour, I can safely say that I've grown accustomed enough to the tablet to be able to use it as I did with my old one.
However as I mentioned before, it did come at a price which I need to gain back. Mainly because my mother is going away on a well-deserved holiday for 2 weeks from tomorrow and me and my twin are going to be looking after the house and needing to get in groceries and other bits we might need.
So without further ado, here's the price sheet! Rules and such are on there~

DEAD TABLET :C Traditional Commissions Coming Soon!

Basically my Bamboo tablet has finally decided to kick the bucket after about 4-5 years of service.
I am very thankful to have had it last this long and to survive all the bumps and scratches I've given it, but now I must move on to greener pastures and get a better one. I think I'm possibly looking to get an Intuos or Cintiq but anything Wacom will be good enough for me to be honest!
With that in mind, I must open traditional commissions soon. I can't do it quite yet due to:
- Lack of supplies (need a new sketchbook)
- Lack of recent examples
- Need a new price sheet
However please keep an ear out for the sample sheet and another journal officially opening them!

These precious babies are bust/headshot doodles of your characters which are also turned into crazy ass icons along with a little slogan! (up to 8 characters available in the slogan!). You'll get both the icon AND the doodle for use! c:
The only rules for these are:
- No WIPs or previews
- You allow me to maul your character
- You give me the slogan to doodle for.
