Just a little update to say I went through and re-submitted a lot of my sketch commission posts so now my gallery looks a bit nicer haha! Feel free to take a peek if you're so inclined!

I realized thanks to a friend awhile back that for some reason a lot of my older pieces looked super light/lacked proper contrast on certain monitors yet looked perfectly fine on my ipad? Hahah ;v; ANYWAY I'm happy that now they look better in my gallery and are easier to see! If you commissioned me for a sketch before please feel free to check it out to save the updated version! I didn't fully disappear from here or anything, but I know I've been pretty sporadic with my posting for like over a year oops...sorry for being so MIA!

But since I've been sortof-away I actually do have a bit of backlog on art I need to post here so!! Hello hello again to everyone who's still around, I greatly appreciate ya being here ;v; I'll be posting things a few submissions at a time until I'm caught up and I'm gonna do my best to stay more active here again. Twitter gets stressful sometimes and I miss having a more stable gallery to look at too haha u__u

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately its been a bit of a hectic year for a lot of us, so a couple of my original roommates for the con had to change plans. I now have 🌸two spots open (3 if you're okay with floor space!)🌸 for the Hilton attached to the San Jose Convention Center for FC 2019. ;v; The room has 2 double beds so currently it'll be myself and my pal  robbo in one bed, and two others can share the free bed.

We don't do a lot of partying in the room (some light drinking etc is a possibility), but I am running a table this year at the con so I will be working and need overall calm in the room. We're relaxed though and like to have TV etc on and just enjoy recharging when we're in there! So if you're a very light sleeper keep in mind I will be up late working on commissions.



🌸What we're looking for🌸

Good hygiene, don't trash the room/make sure to pick up after yourself, no hard drug usage, and no hookups or bringing people without permission back to the room are pretty much the only requirements. Standard stuff for non-party rooms!

Feel free to comment or DM me with a little bit about yourself and if you're interested in the bed or floor space! (As well as if you're okay with sharing the bed of course.) You can also have the bed to yourself if you're okay paying the same price as 2 people for it. If you have references for people you've roomed with before that's great too. :D The cost of the room at 4 people is $178.51 per person, or $142.81 if we have a fifth person on the floor/air mattress. If you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask me.

Hi everyone!

To those of you who've stuck around with me for this long I'm so grateful and sorry I've been mostly dead here for the last few years haha. ;v; I'm finally reconnecting with art again now that my life is overall more stable, and its been such a great experience to finally find enjoyment in drawing again. I've drawn more in the last 6 months than I have in the last...5 years probably? Eesh. I wish I was someone who can channel their pain and depression into art...but honestly when I'm happy is when I'm able to draw and enjoy it. I was in a bad place in life for years and it took a long time to recover from it. So again I appreciate all of you that still pop up and are supportive of my work. It means more to me than you know, and I'm really glad to be back and drawing more again.

But anyway, mushy stuff aside, while I'm getting into posting here regularly again I'm also active on Twitter and Tumblr and currently running a giveaway on my art twitter! (Don't worry for those who use Tumblr instead, I'll do a giveaway there eventually too hehe.)

I doubt too many people keep much of an eye on my activity anymore since its been so long since I've posted haha. But just in case there are those that do I figured it'd be worth it to say that hi, I am still technically alive, and am going to be brushing off some of the cobwebs on this place and my other galleries really soon. I feel like it'd be weird for me to just start posting again without any sort of explanation even if its still a bit vague. I also kinda feel like a zombie crawling out of the grave trying to draw again. I haven't really drawn much of anything since my last updates.

To make a long story short this past year has just honestly not been great for me.

Without too many details I feel like I've been on a rollercoaster that I'd give anything to get off of. Highlights include living with and trying to help people in my family with drug addictions while maintaining my sanity as the sober loved one, my financial and living situations, and even outright loss such as having to put my dog to sleep a few weeks ago after a painfully sudden decline in her health. The chaos of it all and never feeling like I can enjoy more than a couple of weeks of peace without something else happening for me to have to stress over has had my anxiety disorder at intense levels for a long time. Which then just makes me more reclusive, and increases the anxiety and sense of shame because of feeling like I'm falling perpetually behind and can't catch up again.

I know everybody has their share of struggles too so I feel a tinge of shame to even bring any of it up. But hopefully that's enough genuine clarification for those who've been curious to understand why I've been so scarce without oversharing. Basically 2016 has been anything but the fresh start I was hoping for and it can kinda go die in a fire haha. x ^ x

But anyway, that's more than enough negativity on my part. To those who I've owed things to your patience has been incredible and I'm very grateful to you two. Those of you who've still graced me with your kind feedback such as watches and favs even with my little activity here mean a lot to me too. I'm trying to get back some confidence in my abilities since its pretty shot right now, and all those little gestures definitely don't go unnoticed. You all should see some new stuff from me very soon.

So sorry things have been so quiet around here to anyone who's been paying attention to that sort of thing. I promise I haven't forgotten anyone. Without giving any details since it'd just be too much to even explain - 2015 has pretty much been one of if not the worst years of my life in regards to stress and things constantly just falling apart around me. I feel like I make it one step forward then have to take two steps back, and it just doesn't end. Even my tablet has started shorting out on me even though I barely use it anymore and I won't be able to replace it until January or February when I get my tax return. C'est la vie.

A tiny victory for me at least is I finally made it through the school semester and I think my grades are all intact with at least B's in everything. Hoping for A's but it'll still be awhile till I find out for certain. So I'm at least proud of myself for making it in that regard this year, and I should have two degrees by Spring 2017 so I can at least move into my career field job-wise. I can also focus entirely on art and trying to have some fun on my days off for the first time in months during the winter break. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone for their patience and/or the occasional good thought sent my way from anyone who still likes my stuff even with me basically falling off the face of the earth. Your support even with small things like favorites means the world to me.

But anyway, for the important part of the journal! Too many things have fallen through on my end and I won't be able to keep my reservation for FC. I have a room at the Marriott booked from January 14th (Thursday) till January 17th (so checkout is on Monday morning) with two double beds. So if you or anyone you know would be interested in it please let me know. Payment would be through Paypal (I can send an invoice) for the first nights security deposit I had to pay for it and I'll be able to transfer it into the new owners name. Here's hoping my bummer news can at least become good news for someone else. c:

Just wanted to make a journal to let you all know that I'm still alive, and sorry that my pages have been quiet the past few weeks. Things have been a little hectic over here, including a death in the family, so just doing my best to get my bearings while getting used to juggling school with work and commissions again. Taking a semester off of school was great mentally, but its a little funky to get back into not having so much free time. Commissioners will be getting WIP's in their notes/emails very soon (today for some of you, within a day or two for the rest.) I'll also be gathering up some of the pieces I did at FC and uploading them here if people are interested in seeing those. ' v '
