Alrighty, is definitely one of the most generous boyfriends to ever exist and I just don’t even know what to do with myself. T^T

He ordered the final parts needed for my new computer along with the ones needed for his own two days ago, and they should be here from newegg in another day or two since they were shipped today from the other end of my state. Its not that I didn’t believe him when he said he was going to build me a new computer, but its still just kinda breathtaking that he’d give me such a large gift. Sappy as it is, I’m not used to getting gifts from significant others/he’s been the first to give me gifts at all actually. This was insanely generous of him and I'm so appreciative of both him as a person and the gift itself...

I feel really embarrassed to do this, but I was expecting to get some grant money today and for reasons unknown to me its been delayed. We've been out of groceries for over two weeks now, and Eric's tax return was garnished by The Department of Education since he didn't set up a payment plan for an old financial aid loan in time. So now with my grant being delayed its a double blow.

Once my grant comes in we'll be good, since that will be used to pay off the last of his loan and he can get grant money as well (since he already qualifies, but had to get the loan out of default before they could proceed.) And I'll be able to do a full grocery run and fill up the gas tank with it, but for now I'm wanting to do a small grocery run if I can so we have food to eat in the meantime.

I'm looking to raise around $35. Our gas tank is on E (I know, extra embarrassing since this is a supremely crappy situation) so I need to get a little bit of money for gas to go to the grocery store, and so we can make it to school tomorrow. The things I'm wanting to get at the store are:

Milk
Bread
Cheese
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Lettuce
Sandwich meat
And a pack of frozen burritos

If I can get enough to get those that'll keep us going for awhile and be able to make quite a few meals. They don't take me very long to complete, and if I only have a couple to do I'd try to get them done today since its my day off from school.

Not really, no. That takes away from the personal responsibility factor, and tries to claim that people cannot change even if they want to. The chances of me forgiving someone or giving them a second chance are very slim, especially in cases of betrayal/massive disrespect like cheating, but that saying is honestly retarded.

Yeah, as the title suggests, I'm on a diet. Its nothing drastic like "omg nothing with sugar or fat ever again EVER", I'm just counting my calories and I'm going to be making an effort to exercise more. Thankfully going to school full time is helping me at least not be as sedentary as I was before, but I'm trying to set aside at least 2 days outside of the days I go to school to have a dedicated workout time.

I technically started about a week ago, and had a few shaky days but its stabilizing out okay. Its kinda scary at first realizing just how many calories are in certain foods (I'm used to just munching without thinking about it, which is a big part that led to my current weight along with not being very active.)

I'm also trying to get into the habit of not eating if its within 3 hours before I'll be going to bed, so hopefully I adjust to that soon too. I know water is technically my best friend and I need to learn to like it as well, but that one is going to be harder to work on than cutting calories and exercising more. I don't really like soda much either, but I do like milk and juice and pretty much never drink plain water. @_@ Its just hard because while most people say water has no taste, I always get this hint of "dirt" taste even in filtered water.

As for my goal, I'm not trying to get "skinny" really, since I like being chubby. But I do want to at least be more healthy for my body type, and stop feeling so insecure about my size. I don't count as just "chubby" anymore, and its definitely making its mark on my health and self esteem.

Anyway, this is turning abit into a spew of thoughts and straying away from my original reason for posting this haha. Does anybody have any successful tips for motivation to not give up on a diet, or even just success stories if you've went through weight loss yourself? Examples include if you suddenly have a craving for something are there any tricks for not wanting it as much, or to prevent unnecessary snacking? (I'm doing good about eating small meals every few hours, but I am a big sucker for mindless snacking. Especially when watching TV or otherwise being at the computer. :/) Even tips for ways to drink water more if anybody else had issues with liking water would be appreciated.

Please help out if you can guys, either through signing and spreading the word or through a donation. This isn't just some silly petition site, this is being run by Planned Parenthood themselves.

Planned Parenthood already cannot use federal funding for abortions, so if anyone tells you that they do it is a LIE. Only private donations can be used for that. (And even then not all Planned Parenthood's do the procedure.) The federal funding is used for basic health care such as cancer screenings, STI testing and prevention, birth control, etc. So regardless of where you stand on the abortion issue this is something that should be of interest to you. I'm one of those people who relies on Planned Parenthood for my most basic health care, and I know I'm not the only one. There are numerous people who rely on Planned Parenthood for these things. Prevention of unplanned pregnancies and the spread of STI's/STD's, and even helping catch cancer early is a very important cause that these people fight for. In the long run it is cheaper to prevent these things than it is to treat them when they occur, and if this were to pass it would be a devastating blow to millions.

I'm hoping after my current commissions are finished (I'm getting closer and closer by the day in between my school requirements) to reopen and donate a portion of the profits to them to help support the cause. The past few bills that have come up are a full blown assault against women's health, and I say this as someone who does have some conservative views. This is outrageous, and to me personally, unforgivable.

Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.

1. Being up to date with technology and enjoying it, including video games. Preferably knowing even how to build computers and whatnot *w* Mmm *nerdlove*

2. Make me laugh! Teaching me new things is also fantastic. :D

3. Cuddles and lots of them~

4. Having similar taste in music (which is very broad) and expanding my music collection.

5. Be supportive of me

6. Erm, not gonna lie, physical attractiveness helps hahah. (Though of course it isn't everything and only gets you so far)

7. Have a real-world outlook on life and don't play head games with people. We're not in middle school anymore guys, and even then it wasn't cool.

8. Be able to hold a conversation with me, and know the right times for serious discussion and when to joke around.

Day Two: Nine things about yourself.


1. The only times I wear perfectly matching socks is when its my OTK socks. Its been about 5 years now since I started this habit. Yet I won't wear socks that aren't of the same length or don't have a visually appealing match up. I fold them together in these arrangements beforehand same as most people fold matching ones. 8D;

2. Wooden pencils drive me completely crazy. I can't stand having to resharpen them, the texture of them in my hand, and the way you can 'feel' and hear it scratch the paper if its not at the perfect points a;slkdjf. I know mechanical pencils do this too, but it just sounds and feels different to me. If all I have available is a wooden pencil I'll just wait to draw until a later time because its so uncomfortable to draw with.

3. I still sleep with a security blanket even though I'm 18 years old. :/ It's not the same one I've had since I was a kid, it's always kinda changed when one is too worn to use, but I have had this particular one for about 7 years now. While its not impossible for me to sleep without it, and other blankets of a similar material can help if I forget to bring it with me...I'm only able to sleep for a few hours at a time and don't feel very rested.

4. I still loved stuffed animals and keep them in my room, on my desk, some on my bed etc. Yet I'm really picky about their faces and texture when I pick out new ones to buy. I also still have stuffed animals from when I was a toddler, but I keep them packed away for safekeeping.

5. I've always been one of those kids who got A's in school really easily, and never had to form a real study habit. This hindered me during my first semester of college greatly though because while the classes aren't that difficult, I'm not used to having to actually set aside time to do my work to make sure I get it done.

6. I've been told by many that I have a good singing voice, and grew up as a choir kid and even performed my own solos. Yet as I got older instead of feeling more confident in my singing, I freeze up when asked to sing in front of others outside of a select few (and even then, I can't do it if they ask me to sing for them. It just happens because I really like the song and know I can sing along with it). I don't know where the sudden insecurity really came from either.

7. I'm so critical of my artwork anymore that it's the main reason I hardly ever post anything. I like that I've improved enough to see these flaws, but when I don't know how to execute the repairs I feel like deleting everything and giving up. (Don't worry, I never would, but you know what I mean.) I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to my confidence in things.

8. I'm really prone to holding grudges (more so unforgiving, because forgiving means giving them the chance to regain trust). I work hard to not hold things against people so much anymore, and let out my feelings in small doses. I'm especially unforgiving of people who break promises, and hate "reflex" promises used to comfort someone. Tell me you'll do your best, not that you promise if there's ANY chance of failure. Even my own parents follow this policy. I'm also very adept at using words to cut into people rather than just screaming and "freaking out" on them. My vindictive side takes pleasure in doing this when someone hurts me, because I know how much words can haunt people. I feel like a bad person sometimes because of this.

9. Whenever someone manages to hurt or upset me I'll actually be more upset over the fact they could cause me to feel that way. Even more so than whatever it was they actually did that was upsetting at, and it creates a vicious cycle inside of me. This usually leaves me in a personal depression for a few weeks to try and "re-stabilize" my inner world. Seeing as I have issues with releasing my anger to begin with, this doesn't help.

Day One:Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.


1. Has it ever occurred to you that you that you might be wrong? Don't have such strong opinions on things you honestly know nothing about and refuse to look further into. (This last part applies to everybody and is something that crosses my mind constantly.)

2. I love and miss you a lot, especially when we're so far apart like this. To be honest, ever since James died I'm terrified of my time being cut short with you. I still feel like my 5 year old self when I think about you or dad dying; scared and anxious to the point of panic. I don't bother to show it to anyone anymore though because there's nothing that can really be done to console me over the "inevitable". I can't take comfort in the idea that its not in my control so I shouldn't worry about it, even when I know that it would be the "healthy" and logical thing to do. The kicker is I'm not afraid of dying. The idea of having to live without you is what's scary, not the idea of death itself.

3. We had quite a few rough patches in the beginning, but look where we are now. I'm glad I stayed, even though some days I feel like throttling you from continually messing with me to get attention haha. You make me laugh literally every day though, which is an amazing thing and one I don't take for granted. You've matured so much from when we first got together, and I'm so proud of you. I love you.

4. I'm so happy that we're friends and that you feel the same trust and closeness for me that I do for you. You're very dear to me, even if I do fall off the face of the earth for a few weeks every now and then. XD

5. Can you please stop getting injured? Kay, thanks. Vets are expensive. :|

6. I know its a part of growing up, but it still hurts to know that you're not the always honest and commendable person I thought you were all those years. My how things change.

7. I'm so sorry I let you down. I'm immediately filled with guilt and remorse anytime I think about you, and I miss you so much. I wish I had done something sooner, because chances are you'd still be alive if I did. Or at least I wouldn't have to be haunted over wondering if you were in pain when you passed. I'm so sorry...

8. I hope someday you both find happiness with yourselves and your romantic lives. You both are gorgeous inside and out but have low self esteem (not like I can talk much on the self esteem part I suppose. :P) And yet you're in opposite situations; One of you feels no romantic love for someone who's romantically in love with you/treats you right, and the other one of you can't seem to be in anything but unhealthy co-dependent relationships where you -aren't- treated right. @_@ Aughhhh *rips hair out*.

9. You're so physically beautiful its almost painful. Its downright maddening that you know so little about the going-on's of the real world, and of the privileges you have but choose to overlook. Or even better of how close minded you truly are, since it ruins your overall beauty like no other.

10. I wish I didn't have to keep you blocked, on numerous forms of communication at that, to make sure that you'll leave me alone. (Sorry people, rant time and a personal one at that. Skip it if you want. c: )

I didn't have unrealistic expectations of you or our friendship, and you know it. You pulling the religion card on me in your last message to try and make me overlook that reality after your other attempts were shot down was petty, and downright laughable. It was also pointless considering it only makes you look more crazy to me both as an atheist and from a non-religious perspective.

Had I attempted the same thing you did, I know you would have felt betrayed too. Yet you still couldn't feel empathy for me. To truly understand why I had to run from the toxin that was our "friendship". Hindsight having that whole 20/20 thing, it wasn't even really a friendship when compared to what I now know I deserve and actually get from my true friends. You can try and say you have felt empathy for me and know how much you hurt me, but if you truly did you would respect my request to be left alone without me having to force you to.

Your fear of your boyfriend fiance finding out what truly soured our friendship shows that you know what you did was off ill repute and selfish. Being a Christian does not automatically make you a good person, and your unwarranted sense of entitlement was just that. Just because you believe your deity will forgive you for any misdeeds does not mean others will, which is something you couldn't seem to understand even with me forewarning you during our friendship. I never viewed you or our friendship in the horrible and insecure ways you did me. Anytime I think about it, and the excuses you used to justify yourself and your mindset, I feel relieved that I no longer have any emotional attachment or association with you.

You can't truly be "friends" with someone you always view with an eye of caution, and I could never view you in any other light after what happened. There is no reason for you to attempt to rekindle any sort of personal relationship with me, nor me with you. Plus, people only change if they want to, and you couldn't honestly comprehend why I was so betrayed at the time. You were perfectly content with the idea of stepping on and betraying others to try and raise your "self esteem" (which consists of 'conquering' and using people to get what you want apparently.) You didn't think your actions were wrong or uncalled for. So why would you change?

The reasons you wanted to do what you did also logically spur your almost 'need' to get close to me again. To try and sustain your pride, which seemed to be that of a bottomless hole on my last experiences with you. I hope someday I won't have to keep you blocked to feel comfortable in that you won't try to bother me or my loved ones anymore. Our chapters in each others stories are over, and you pleading won't change that.
