This is gonna be a long thread about plans for the future.

So I’m sure you can all tell Uncover the Truth is pretty much almost over. The plan is to finish it up by November and have it all posted by early December. This has been a wild 3 years. Ashamed this took me 3 years instead of the initially planned 2 years. I learned a lot from the countless challenges I faced these past years and I have to thank you all for sticking through all this with me. I never thought I’d ever be writing things people care about since my journey began back in high school. After my parents squandered and belittled my dream, I could only waste my time trying to find my place in life. If it weren’t for my girlfriend bringing joy and imagination back into my life I would have never tried to write my first comic Summer Tides and I would have never met the amazing artist  apinkgrape later that year.

Of course all this was happening while I was hastily moving out of my parents place during covid. Being overly ambitious and underprepared lead to growing, underlying problems. Right as I planned to start Uncover the Truth I lost my job while already in a bad place financially. I should have tried to recover fully before continuing, but I never wanted to keep anyone waiting. I was constantly hopping from one underpaying job to another, trying my best to stay afloat and keep the dream going. My multiple sclerosis was also getting worse at the time thus both making it harder to work and increasing my medical fees. This kept me in a really bad spot till 2025, as every time I got close to recovering I would lose another job. Sometimes, we slowed down to one page a month to try and keep expenses down. Though around September 2024 the worst happened. While looking for another job, my cat Charlie became really sick, refusing to eat and having low blood pressure. This zeroed out my funds in desperation to try and save him. My friends convinced me to make a gofundme and break my stubborn aversion to asking for help. Thank you to everyone who donated and spread the word. Because of you, we were able to save my cat Charlie and he’s now healthier than ever! Right after that, I scored my amazing current job that has been helping me recover faster than ever. Looking back, I can’t thank all of you enough for motivating and helping me through this rough past few years.

Now, it's time to talk about what's next.

So with the comic ending in November, it's time for me to finally fully recover. Things won’t stop entirely. Just expect less monthly posts from me. During this time, I’ll be getting things prepared for the next chapter of Glamor to Bare, as well as redoing and adding pages to Uncover the Truth for an eventual physical printing.

Back when I started comic writing in 2021 I was writing pages monthly and reviewing them while at work in a hurry. Honestly, this process was extremely sloppy and I want to make sure that never happens again. Up until page 54 of Uncover the Truth, I was writing monthly instead of having a full planned script. The haste from reviewing while working led to several mistakes going over my head. I eventually just wrote the remaining script in one night and alleviated all the stress. This made monthly planning for content and quality control a lot easier on me. I want to keep this going forward. So during this break, I plan to write the entire script for chapter 2 before starting, leaving me room to focus on future chapters and side content.
Lets not forget that this lets me also upgrade the comics shading to have more detail. No longer will we be stuck with flat-shaded Stephanie.

Updates I haven't posted here
So now Starts a short break. Not out of financial need just time to polish the road ahead. The last 7 pages were part of a huge rewrite to the ending of this chapter. Things to make this arc have a lot more to work with down the line.
Modern era art was always intended to be my shortest Story arc but as time passed I felt there was a lot more that could be done with our Gemini bunny. Her popularity was a surprise over the years. Hoping to give plenty of modern Steph before we dip into the full world of glamor!

Also I've come up with a name for the I.P. of my content. Glamor to Bare!
When uncover the truth finishes. I plan to have the cover redone and a few pages redone to give more to look at. Also potential for the first physical printing of my comic.

I really hate that I have to do this but I've run out of options. My cat Charlie is really ill and I can't regain income fast enough to save him. I'm at the point where I'm considering selling all I own just to give him a few more years.

Hey Steph here!

Been a while hasn't it? Things have been improving in life overall while I was gone but things aren't fully recovered yet. Had a huge financial crisis with some tight problems going on both at home and in my mind. Overall everything but my finances is full recovered from the past 3 months of Hecken bullshit. Gonna hard focus on fixing that. Expect me to drip some content here and there while I recover fully. Medical bills are slowing me down as I get myself some much need treatment on my M.S. since before covid. So on subject I would like to talk about my content and its future.

Uncover the truth
Don't worry I'm going to finish up Stephanie's adventure. Might not push things out as fast as I used to but I hope to someday to return to 3 pages a month. When I do Start back up I hope to finish this first before anything else.

Day it all became Lewd.
I know I teased Stephan's big comic to be after Uncover the Truth initially. So after some heavy thought I'm holding off on this one and instead starting before it. What does that mean? Snow Bound Escape is getting a comic adaptation and were moving from there forward. Would let me show all the important stuff towards his character and the path to Stephanie.

Test of Soul and vanguard?
I know my sfw content doesn't do well but I really want to get this done after Uncover the truth. The comic brings me so much joy and nostalgia to my early adulthood as I think about later parts. Hopefully we get to see the trio play some card games soon.

Written stories
So I've been back and forth writing a ton of unpublished story content trying to keep myself motivated. Sad fact is people really don't read any more and sites have no push for stories. So from here on out any main line story significance will stay in the comics. Stories will be for side content and little fun world building ideas from now on. Don't worry we'll still have people naked.

Small Problems
This I personally really want to start again. I love fan content and I know we all want to see Enf of sonic characters. Once I get one of the current comics done or maybe both I'm going to occasionally continue Small Problems every now and then.

Stephanie's Ultra Chase

I planned this one all out ages ago but never felt proud of a 2nd chapter and now I'm embarrassed about the first one. I will come back to this but I'm conflicted on redoing the first chapter then continuing or just turning it into a comic. Let me know what you think is better.

Armored Whore
Don't worry our A.C. pilot will return so I can get to the big punchline. Remaking disembodied voices into furries is a pain.

What's even cannon anymore?
So I have a ton of media made already and some of it is so old it conflicts with my story plan I've had the past few years. Consequentially I need to explain what is cannon and what isn't going forward.
any fan comic side art or fan art will will not be a part of the cannon and just be the characters in a specific void. Main line comics, animations(loosely), Patreon Questions, Patreon vote art, and Visual Novels will be cannon. Anything specific I'll mention when its posted. So a lot of art especially stuff from before Summer Tides wont be cannon even a ton of my side stuff from the past few years.

I'm gonna be hella late but don't worry Tazri and her friends not introduced yet will het their much needed spotlight.

Patreon
So like the policy has changed there a ton and I don't know if I would even be allowed back. If I ever want to receive support again I don't know if Patreon is a good idea anymore. I was looking at subscribestar as a potential replacement. But we'll see what happens in time.

Streams?
I'm so tired of gaming the past few years I feel I have nothing really fun to show on stream anymore. Maybe a really good game like another armored core will happen and I can stream again.

Hey Steph here

In this wave of lay offs I got hit. Showed up to work to be told "Your position no longer exists make the best of this week." the day before my work week ended.

Thankfully I'm not in a horrible spot just this might put my content on pause for a month or two if I don't find a solution before my April solution.

Every since the hiatus happened I haven't really been able to get back where I was sub wise and several thoughts crossed my mind these past few months.

A big part of why I even made a patreon was to interact with my audience and offer them content decided by them. Sketch questions and vote art has been fun really but the interaction has gone down in questions and every vote is a tie now. Most people who buy a tier with cameo slots wont even respond to my attempts to get their refs for the cameo. At this point I'm just fulfilling cameos for past users and answering questions as they come in. I feel its never going to fully recover.

My pace is locked at only getting faster. Once I started adding more stuff to my monthly routine here I'm expected to keep up the amount of content or do more than I did last month. any attempt to slow down would just lose people. I finally got to a point where my workload was too much to handle with my work life. Ending patreon will let me set my pace to what ever I can handle for the month. How I was before patreon.

I was really underselling some of the benefits I was offering. 20 dollars for a cameo was way less then how much a cameo actually costed me and the vote art basically costed my entire earnings for the month most of the time. Sketch questions were worth 10 times more than what I was charging. In the beginning I hopped underselling would help me grow on here and it did for a time. As I lost subs the underselling started to hurt over time.


For like a whole month I had to fight the thought of ending my comics entirely. Overtime I come to accept the comic makes me happy but the routine was killing my drive over time. So expect pages to continue to be posted on my other platforms. Just it wont always be 3 pages a month from here on. I still plan to keep all my promised cameos, just hope those of you who haven't responded finally respond so I can give you what you paid for.

I want to advertise my patreon more to try and bring in more interaction. The little I do get has been the most fun part of content creation for me. Sharing my content and patreon always felt like begging, could never work this past my anxiety. What do you all think about self promotion?

So like life has been down in the dumps and as new things change in life I realized I missed making content. So like I brought my patreon back sooner than planned just for the hell of it. I gotta try and regain the patreons I lost. Hope I didn't keep you all waiting too long!

2023 I going to be an even bigger year now that I have switched to 3 pages a month.
Sketch Questions have been moved to a 2 dollar patreon benefit to hopefully encourage more interaction since its my favorite part of patreon currently.

Hey a few months back I said pretty soon I was going to shift into more comic focus vs random art. Well besides the beach buns series and my late Easter art their pretty much done. This month besides the comic pages and beach buns all that's coming is the last character ref update and a teaser for a future comic.
with occasional cover art every now and then I'm going forward to try and focus on my narrative fully. I still do write and that wont stop. With the depression of losing a job and recovering I was juggling 4 upcoming stories in my google docs and one will be done eventually. I also took my first request to see if I'm up for writing for others. If this ends well I wouldn't mind doing writing commissions in the future. Besides this I came here to talk about a few things down bellow and I would appreciate your thoughts.

1. What's with all the male art?
Recently I've come to terms with my past and I don't hate what I was anymore. I still am transgender but I'm in a state of I don't know who I really am anymore expressing my past in art and stories is helping me feel more confident but with this and recent real world events I'm stuck in the middle on if I should continue my life as a female. I just know for a fact I'll always be Steph whether its Stephanie or Stephan. Personally I feel ashamed I'm too scared to start treatment. It just feels like I would maybe be more safe if I continued life as a homosexual male compared to an openly trans female.

2. increasing comic art quality
So to keep it cheep I have always had  apinkgrape Draw my comics with flat colors. But as I let her occasionally let her express her full artistic ability I am Amazed every time. If it meant occasionally some months would be only one page releasing would you all like to see me go full shading on my comic pages after Uncover the truth ends?

3. streams?
Yeah I haven't done gaming streams in ages. My internet has become unbearable slow recently after a long streak of my job abusing me. After i get this internet situation fixed and I confirm this next job is alright I plan to pick streaming back up but may not be on Fridays anymore.

4. My content in the future.
I'm still going to be writing actively but should I expand to trying art? I recently obtained a drawing tablet and I've doodled here and there. Would you all like to finally see me produce personal art outside all the coms?

So as of recent events I've some how singlehandedly got overtime revoked from the entirety of my department and now back to work standard hours. So that means after this batch of coms gets done and posted I'm going to calm down on the random art entirely and focus more on comics and stories. As well as being generally being more active.
